4 Newbold Square unit 4, Newbold Square - A quiet, well maintained town home close to the beach, downtown shopping and restaurants, what more could you ask for! As you enter the unit you access a flight of stairs to a spacious and open, living, kitchen and dining area. Off of the dining area is a deck with wonderful views of Silver Lake. Such a beautiful space to relax! This floor also includes a master bedroom and bathroom. From the kitchen area you access the second flight of stairs to another two bedrooms, a full bathroom and the loft. Such a roomy town home, enough space for everyone. The complex is located off of Scarborough Ave Ext. approximately 4 blocks to the beach via a footbridge which crosses over the lake to Stockley Street in South Rehoboth.

Guests have access to the community swimming pool just steps from the unit. The complex pool is open from-10AM to 7PM.

The unit is located on the second floor and includes off street parking for 1 car + overflow (first come first serve, not guaranteed).
This is a non smoking unit and pets are not permitted.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $157.50.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. This condo was a great size and location for my family. I loved the view of the lake from the balcony and the turtles by the bridge are fun! We walked to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants.

This property worked great for our family of 5 (kids aged 10-18)! The description of 4 longer blocks to beach and 6 blocks to downtown is accurate and was fine for our family. Everything was very clean. We enjoyed Turtle Bridge every time we walked across.

Pros- The condo was very clean. It was a nice atmosphere and very quiet and had a nice view of the lake. Cons- The condo was extremely dated with furniture pads on the furniture,. Although the description says that the unit is four blocks from the beach, they are extremely long blocks so it’s more appropriate to say it’s about eight blocks from the beach. It would’ve been nice if the property was a keyless entry so that we would not have had to carry keys with us. Other units within the complex that were rented provided their guests with parking passes for the town of Rehoboth. We were not provided parking passes because the rental agency said that the owner did not do that. I might consider renting a unit within this complex in the future, in the off season, but would not rent this unit again due to the lack of updates and need to pay for parking daily when going to the beach in the summer. It cost 325 for the entire season to buy a parking pass for the owner. It cost a guest 25 per day to park in order to go to town or to go to the beach in town. Not sure why this particular owner does not see the significance of providing a parking pass when other owners do.

Thank you for the review Ruth. We advertise this property as is with no dishonest advertising. The property is essentially 4 blocks to the beach. I'm not sure if the blocks in Rehoboth are different from the blocks you're use to. If anyone looks at location of this rental online - they'll see the distance to the beach. I appreciate you providing feedback on the parking permit. We will run this by the owner for future guests. However, you booked knowing this was not provided as we do not advertise it anywhere.

Condo was old school in decor but extremely clean and well laid out. Beautiful view and an incredible pool on site. Easy walk to the beach and downtown via the bridge. We loved it!

Great property in great location

This is our second time staying here. The condo is very comfortable and in a great location. You can walk to everything. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The patio with view to the lake is great and a beautiful place to relax.

Family vacation

Very nice place and great location. We enjoyed the pool and pickleball courts so close. Enough space for the 5 of us to spread out.

Our stay was amazing! The location was such a quick car ride to the beach, and the property came with everything we needed for 2 young families with 3 small kids (washer/dryer, great AC, spacious rooms, etc.) The community pool also was a big hit and only a few steps down from the apartment. We would love to be back in a few years, we just have to wait until the younger babies are a little larger as the property had floating stairs that the 1 year old could fit through. We are looking forward to staying again in a few years!

.75 mi from the beach, right between rehoboth and Dewey. Perfect for a friends getaway, plenty of parking!

Great location and rental manager

Loved the location for family. Lovely pool; across from 2 very nice playgrounds and Turtle Bridge is wonderful! It is an easy 5-6 block walk to the beach and Convention Center. The neighborhood is lovely. Unfortunately the unit was not completely clean when we arrived. But the layout worked well for us with our daughter’s family upstairs and my wife and I downstairs. I think for the price toilet paper/ paper towels should be included as we traveled from very far to get there.

A bit farther and outdated than indicated...

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property’s description as a well-maintained condo close to the beach, downtown shopping and restaurants is a bit deceiving. The property is approximately 1-mile from the downtown area, which made for more than a jaunt when walking to-and fro everyday. The walk, however, had a beautiful bridge area full of turtles and fish in the waterway. As for the property itself, the condo has not been updated since the 1980s/1990s and both toilets leaked when flushed... with the upper level having notably poor flushing. The refrigerator/freezer was also less-than-clean so we felt the need to wash the ice trays, etc. before use. The entry into the property has a steep, narrow staircase to access, which made for a challenge when moving the larger suitcases. The price is excessive compared to other properties in better condition and more centrally located. The biggest dissatisfier was the $1,000 security deposit required in cash or money order to the property management company (we question what in that property could have even cost $1,000)...I was told I would receive an email receipt and never did... so we are eagerly awaiting the return of our deposit.

Hey Chad, Thank you for your review. The paperwork for your security deposit is being processes, so you should receive that any day. The reason we charged the security deposit was due to the timing of the rental - different groups like to rent for the Memorial Day weekend. Our first goal in representing owners is to make sure rentals are taken care of, and we do appreciate the condition you left the property. Thank you again for your feedback.

never communicated with host. Everything through Coldwell Banker, which was not good in fact wrong info was given to us. See their review for details, as I don't want to waste any more time on it. Change the "four blocks to the beach". Very misleading, not 4 city blocks, but very long blocks. It took me over 15 minutes without carrying anything.Won't be back. Not your fault but route 1 is a vision from HELL.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great pool and access to pickle ball courts at school adjacent. Would suggest bedding updating and carpet replacement. Also should note that the unit is upstairs and that stairs are very narrow for anyone with mobility issues.
