Beach Retreat at Cedar Island located in New Smyrna/Bethune Beach, welcomes you!

Step inside this light and bright two-bedroom, two-bath condominium and you’ll immediately feel the beach vibes of the new furnishings and updated décor. The first thing that catches your attention is the spectacular view of the river. Right outside the family room is the screened-in patio that overlooks this tranquil lagoon. The lagoon hosts beautiful sunsets and views of nature, including manatees, dolphins and birds. This is a perfect place to kayak, paddle board or take a stroll. This newly renovated condo sleeps 6 people and is perfectly located a block from the Bethune Beach access and park. The beachfront area of the park has restrooms, large picnic pavilions, and showers. The riverside park is located right next to the complex and has tennis, pickle ball, basketball and volleyball courts, a playground, fishing pier and restrooms. After enjoying the surf and white sandy beach, cool off at the pool, located near the unit.

The condo's on-suite master bedroom has a comfy king-sized bed with amazing views of the river and access to the screened-in patio. The guest bedroom has a new queen size bed and twin bunk beds with plenty of storage. The family room has a couch that converts to a queen-sized pull out bed.

What's there to do?

*JB’s Fish Camp is right down the road. Here you can rent kayaks or paddle boards, listen to live music, or enjoy a meal along the waterway.
*Flagler Avenue is another destination point with it's street-lined restaurants, bars and shoppes.
*Canaveral National Seashore Park- climb up Turtle Mound- a mound that contains oysters and refuse from the prehistoric Timucuan people and is an archaeological site on the National Register
*The Ponce de Leon Inlet has a museum and lighthouse that stands 175 feet in height-one of the tallest in the United States

After exploring all the city has to offer or enjoying a day at the beach, sit back and enjoy the sunset that can be seen from the screened-in porch off the back of the condo. It's a relaxing way to end the day.

Perfectly relaxing

We absolutely loved our stay. We were a little heesitant on choosing a lagoon view room instead on being right on the beach, but this was fantastic. We enjoyed ever aspect to high beaufiful and clean the condo was to how peaciful and quiet it was on the lagoon. We saw dolphins and manatees each day as we enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the patio. We would highly recommend this condo!

Perfect stay in NSB

We have family that lives in the community so this was the perfect location for us. We loved the condo. Very clean and updated. Right by the pool, easy walk to the beach, and waking up to dolphins outside your door is heavenly! I will definitely check to see if it’s available the next time we come visit.

The perfect family getaway

This condo is absolutely lovely and perfect for families. While many condos put a king bed in the master bedroom and cram uncomfortable, small twin beds in the second bedroom, this one manages to maximize space without sacrificing comfort or style. It's been nicely updated, has a lovely view, and is incredibly close to both a private pool area and the beach, which is also fairly private. We went during the week of July 4th and experienced a fraction of the crowds and noise we'd encounter at our usual panhandle vacation spot. Looking forward to doing it all again next year. Thank you to this host family for making the process so easy and enjoyable.
