Oh my! If I could give 100 stars, it wouldn’t be enough! House was incredible. Location perfect. We enjoyed a wonderful family reunion at Thanksgiving. Plenty of room to play inside, everyone had space and privacy. Backyard was fabulous…a giant play yard! football and the fire pit! Kitchen was just what was needed for Thanksgiving dinner. The amenities, supplies and attention to detail was beyond belief. Can’t say enough! Best of all… hosts were so attentive and responsive. Would love to come back! Just so grateful to have had that week. As my sister said, a Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving!

We had an absolutely incredible stay. My sister threw a bridal shower in town, and this was such a comfortable and beautiful place to have our out-of-town friends and family stay. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets. The kitchen was stocked to entertain, with some of the sharpest knives I have had at a rental. The house is located just a few minutes from the beach and the town's shopping area, with ample parking available at the house. Truly a magical trip. I can't wait to come back!

By far the most beautiful, comfortable, clean and well stocked house we’ve ever rented. It’s in a perfect location, has an amazing yard, beautiful porches and is a 2 minute walk from the beach. We stayed with 2 families of 4 as well as the grandmas and we were all very comfortable. Michael was a wonderful host and we will be back for sure!

Cozy home

We had a family reunion in this beautiful, spacious home. Great location within walking distance of beach and town. Parking for at least 3 cars. Big back yard with fire pit and games. We would love to stay here again. Great host.

Family Vacation

Absolutely awesome! Michael was a great host, answering our questions promptly. The house is beautiful, with great entertainment areas both inside and outside. The location cannot be beat, within walking distance to both beach and shops. Michael has provided everything needed for a day at the beach, or an evening of games.

Murphy’s Generation Vacation

This was our first VRBO Family vacation and won’t be our last! From beginning to end the host surpassed our expectations! The home was perfect in every way; clean, roomy, well equipped, The yard was amazing with everything you could imagine for young & old! The location is ideal for beaches, restaurants and downtown shops. The communication with owner was quick and easy. This property is beyond a 10 and one we highly recommend and hope to visit again.

Rockport’s Treasure

Best stay ever! Husband grew up in Gloucester with grandparents in Rockport. We have been returning yearly with (now grown) children to visit with family who are still in the area, and with other sibling who also return for a large family gathering. This year’s visit aligned with Gloucester’s St. Peter’s Fiests and Rockport’s July 4 festivities. Bonus! 40 Atlantic easily housed 6 adults (it will accommodate 8) and has plenary of gathering spaces with a large dining room to seat 10, an airy front porch, a spacious deck with a gas grill and a table for 8, and another large table in the shady area of the yard. The kitchen is huge and is well stocked with needed equipment -6 burner/ 2 oven Wolf stove, small appliances, cooking tools and dishes and flatware for at least 12. This kitchen has the sharpest knives I have ever used! We hosted the extended family several times and ended our evenings around the firepit. We played cornhole and tossed frisbees. Great memories were made! The large backyard is full of colorful flowers and shrubs and is very well kept. The living room is well stocked with games and puzzles for all ages. It is clear the house has been thoughtfully renovated - the bathrooms were spa-like, everyone slept well on the high quality mattresses and under upscale linens. This rental feels like cozy home! We enjoyed our walks to Brothers, Bearskin Neck, the Headlands and the beach. Michael was very responsive, communicative, and a pleasure to work with!

Great place to stay.

The home was very comfortable for my family-3 couples and one toddler. Very clean; kitchen very well equipped; beds very comfortable. Michael, the manager, was very responsive if we had questions. It was a great place to stay.

The house was perfect for our family. Very well stocked with everything we needed for our time at the house. The house was very clean and it was really close to the shops and restaurants in town. We walked into town everyday even though we had a car. The fire pit was a great extension of the house, and Michael had it very well supplied, so it was easy to start the fire. Michael was very easy to get a hold of and responsive to any of our needs. I would highly recommend the house.

Perfect spot for fam reunion!

We loved everything about this newly renovated gem in Rockport! Michael is a great host and super quick to respond to our questions. Location could not have been better. 5 min walk to garden beach, 10min to downtown Rockport. Highly recommend staying here - checked all the boxes!!!

Family Vacation made easy!

We enjoyed our stay at this home. We were a group of three families planning to spend a week together in Rockport. The house accommodated our group nicely; each family had a space. The house was well equipped for a vacation. We especially enjoyed the quick 2 block walk to the beach and the easy walk to the town. The young people in our group enjoyed the firepit in the back yard. Every one enjoyed the outdoor shower and the front deck where groups gathered to chat. The house was well stocked with dishes, plates, glasses etc. for feeding a large group. We appreciated not having to shop for paper goods and cleaning supplies. If we plan to gather next summer we will definitely be back.

Wonderful experience!

My family and I LOVED staying here. We’ve been vacationing in Rockport for over 15 years and it was one of our favorite places we’ve stayed at. We’re 7 adults and had plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood and the location is walking distance from Bearskin Neck, the beach, and the headlands. Our host Michael was super communicative and went out of his way to accommodate us (set the place up ahead of time for early checkin, stopped by the house whenever we needed something, etc.). I highly recommend!!

Great Rockport location!

Great location and warm and friendly neighborhood. Easy access to all venues in downtown Rockport. Easily accommodated two adult couples with its two levels of living and sleeping quarters. Would recommend this property to friends interested in visiting Rockport.

Perfect Family Getaway

This property is perfect for a family vacation. The updated kitchen and roomy entertaining space make it ideal for shared meals and family game nights. Our kids loved the outdoor shower and it made the post-beach clean-up a breeze. Being a short walk to Bearskin Neck's shops and restaurants and the scenic views from Old Garden Beach was also a plus. Would definitely recommend to a family with children.

Probably the most ideal spot in Rockport, my only comment would be there is no air conditioning (totally fine with cool nights) and there are only 2 bathrooms. Overall, quite satisfied

Great place for family reunion!

We loved our stay on Atlantic Avenue. Great location for walking into town in a quiet neighborhood with plentiful parking. The house was very well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was first class! The fenced-in backyard was perfect for yard games and picnics. We had a great time and hope to return soon!

Lovely house with a perfect location!

This property was just incredible. I loved how quick the walk was to the beach. We also could easily walk to Bear Skin for restaurants, shopping, and beautiful views. Every amenity you could think of was in the house, with excess of fresh towels and linens. Plenty of good books and games for entertainment, and the kitchen was very well stocked. I would absolutely stay here again!

Rockport perfection

The most well-appointed rental I've ever stayed in. Michael and Jane could not have been more helpful, responsive, and accommodating. They have thought of everything you might need. This house is lovely and sits in a beautiful neighborhood near a small, but very nice public beach. Really lovely stay overall. I was truly sad to leave.

Lots of care in great location

This home was renovated recently. It's been kept in great shape -- sharp kitchen knives! -- with other thoughtful touches throughout. The managers have clearly thought about what people may need while there and have made sure the house is stocked accordingly. They live nearby and were responsive to our questions. The house itself is in a great location. Old Garden Beach is very close and Bearskin Neck is an easy walk. Highly recommended for groups looking to enjoy Rockport.
