Allatoona Lakeside Terrace Apartment (ALTA) is a unique corporate/vacation rental retreat. It consists of 1,250 sq. ft. of Private Luxury living space embedded within a 6,000 square feet Home. Private Entrance and exquisitely furnished with full Kitchen and Bath. Utilities and WIFI services included. Use of Private salt-water Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, and Fire Pit. Private Gas grill. Reserved Parking. Strict minimum rental of 5-days, or longer. Welcome Snack provided upon arrival!

This short-term corporate/vacation rental is nested alongside of Allatoona Lake - and a short 2-minute walk to the water. It is at the terrace level of a private home with quiet, comfortable, and modern décor that hints of the ocean. ALTA is stocked with elegant dishes, Luxury linens & towels, and all Stainless-Steel appliances for a unique retreat experience.

ALTA offers an extended 2nd suite with onsite RV rental sleeps (2) at $65 per night with rental of ALTA.

Located 45-minutes outside of Atlanta, this Northwest corridor Apartment is located on beautiful Allatoona Lake - Cherokee County. It is near Kennesaw Mountain, Red Top Mountain State Park, Cobb Energy Center, and historical Woodstock and Marietta Square. Emerson Sports Complex is 16-miles. Access to Allatoona Lake, Marina, and Beach activities. No private dock.

ALTA is just a 20-minute drive to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. Only a 30-minute drive to the Lockheed Martin/Dobbins Air Base. Seated between (2) high-end shopping malls - this area offers Shopping, Fine-Dining, and Local entertainment.

Great place to stay!

In the area with a family member, apartment was super clean, spacious, and comfortable. Owner checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and was prompt to respond to any questions. Overall great experience, would definitely stay again if we are back in the area..

The perfect retreat

Sharon is a welcoming host and this home is stunningly beautiful. Anything you could need is here. The location is very private offering the perfect respite or place to work. The pool and grounds are beautiful with a short walk to the lake. A perfect retreat.

Gorgeous Property!

We are more than satisfied with our stay. Having access to an amazing outdoor living space, shaded and sun hang out options, the outdoor tub spa, huge private swimming pool, large kitchen, and very spacious bedroom and living room, this was the perfect place! We highly recommend grabbing a drink nearby at the Sunset Grille on Lake Allatoona.

Gracious and Comfortable

This is my go-to property in Woodstock, GA and not just because it is close to my appointments. It is so relaxing, comfortable, and well-equipped that I'd stay here even if it were further away. Great kitchen, comfortable bed, spacious and inviting!

We thoroughly enjoyed our return stay! While temperatures may have been quite chilly this trip, we were cozy warm with the evenings spent in front of the fireplace! No trip would be complete without seeing the deer roam the property and the breeze through the trees. Exceptional

This property was absolutely special. No detail was left undone. We enjoyed each day at ALTA, from the beautiful, comfortable interior, to the outdoor oasis. Would definitely return when visiting this area.

There's good reason this property gets such high marks! We stayed during a baseball tournament at Lake Pointe and wish the team would have played better so we could have stayed a couple days longer!!

ALTA visit

This was my first time staying in a VRBO property. I was delighted to be greeted by Sharon. The apartment is lovingly appointed in a nautical theme as displayed in the photos. The square footage of the apartment is generous and you have access to the pool area to enjoy. I highly recommend reserving this property because of Sharon’s hospitality and the beautiful location.

Setting the standard HIGH

This is a true home away from home! Sharon has not missed any accommodations for the items you need day to day. Umbrellas, drink cups with lids, the list goes on. It’s beautiful, clean and nestled away for privacy. Great spaces to move around and sit during travel down time. I would definitely book this VBRO again.

ALTA Above and Beyond

If there were a higher rating, this property would get it! Beautiful! The accommodations were impeccably decorated, clean and every thought was given to the touches within! Seeing the deer roam daily, the fountain babbling from the pool deck and the spectacular view, along with the Host being so attentive and friendly, these were just some of things that made this our favorite destination property thus far!

Terrific long weekend at ALTA

We loved ALTA and started planning our next visit while we were still there! We came for Wed-Mon. I worked at my company’s facility in Canton and my wife worked from the office in the apartment (great work setup). We loved the quiet location and the apartment itself. Our host was very responsive and helpful. The guest book is an amazing resource on the apartment and the local area, including restaurants and activities. The kitchen has everything you need, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We will be back soon!

Always Great to Return!

I have stayed in this charming rental near Lake Allatoona at least five times. It is always sparkling clean, extremely well stocked, and comfortable. Sharon goes above and beyond to make guests welcome, even providing a snack tray when you arrive. It is a short drive to Old Woodstock, which has restaurants, bars, a great new art gallery (The Reeves House Visual Arts Center) and a wonderful bookstore (The Sweet Read). It is about a half hour from the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, where you can enjoy the outdoors and many hikes. I would definitely rent again (obviously!)

Beautiful Property!

This was an amazing property! I was immediately greeted by a bluejay, to cardinals, and a deer! The apartment is BEYOND expectations and the host extremely helpful and responsive. I was there for a week working and the work/office set up was perfect, the attention to detail in what one might need during their stay is spot on! Nothing has been missed at this property! The view is calming! The bed is dreamy, and the pool and deck areas are peaceful and relaxing. I am going to rent for a month next time!

My Absolutely Favorite Place to Stay

I have taken to planning my trips to Woodstock based on whether I can reserve Sharon's VRBO rental. This rental stands out as perhaps my favorite among all the VRBOs I have stayed in, especially in the Woodstock area. It is always clean, quiet, and comfortable. Sharon welcomes her guests with a carefully prepared food tray, which is a big help since I usually arrive in Woodstock hungry from a long flight and after the local stores have closed. This is only one of the many ways she has gone out of her way to make her rental welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend this rental---although I know this will make it harder for me to rent myself (smile)!!

Even Better Than Before

This is my third or fourth stay at this VRBO rental. It is close to my family in Woodstock, but that is not the main reason. It is so peaceful, lovely and well-stocked. The bed is excellent, and communication with the owner/manager is almost instantaneous. There is a spacious office area if you are working during your stay, as well as a private deck area for guests. The kitchen is fully equipped for those of us who do all our own cooking. However, if you prefer to eat out, you are just a short drive from Old Woodstock and about 30 minutes from Marietta. I highly recomment this rental.

Still Exceeding Expectations

Whenever I come to Woodstock, GA I try to stay in this rental. Its location makes you feel like you are far away from the hustle and bustle, and yet it is easy to get from here to everything to do and explore in the area. I rent A LOT of VRBOs and this is one of my favorites. During the height of the pandemic, it seemed every host was assuring us that their rental was "sanitized" or "deep cleaned." In the last year I've noticed that has really fallen by the wayside to the point that some VRBOs look barely dusted---but not at this rental. Not only is it comfortable and charming and convenient, it is always spotless.

Excellent Property!

My husband and I have stayed a many VRBO rentals, and this one is among the top places we have stayed. It is spacious, well equipped, and charmingly furnished. In warm weather, upon request, the pool is available for guest use. My husband and I enjoyed the wooded environment, watching fireflies and listening to birdsong. It is located just off Lake Allatoona, so the public beach and boat launch is also very near. This property is only a short hop from Bells Ferry Road, so it is easy to get to all the major roads. You can visit Old Woodstock, Camden, Marietta, Kennesaw Mountain, and Roswell with just a short travel time. Atlanta is about one hour away for a more expansive tourist trek. Lovely all around. Definitely a find!

Charming, Quiet, Spacious, Well-Equipped

This beautiful, spacious, comfortable apartment was absolutely perfect for my husband and me over Thanksgiving. The apartment was sparkling clean, the bed was superb, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need for cooking complete meals. The host even provides some pantry basics for folks who arrive to town late and cannot get to the grocery, not to mention welcoming us with an amazing gift basket of generous nibbles. There is also a spacious office area, and the full bathroom is well-stocked with towels. There is a washer/dryer in the suite itself, very useful for long stays. The host was extremely responsive to inquiries, both before and during our visit. A special interior feature was the electric fireplace insert in the entertainment area, which we just loved. We'd like to return during warmer weather so that we can take advantage of the private outdoor guest terrace. Guests should not miss the short walk to the lake, as the view from the bluff is gorgeous. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, which we really appreciated as well. We would absolutely rent this apartment again!

Heavenly rest and relaxation

From the moment I walked through the gate I was in awe of the sparkling pool and beautiful landscaping , then entered the apartment and was greeted with absolute joy over the beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean home, everything you could want and need including the most comfortable bed ! Sharron the host has thought of everything from lighting to linens to the pantry ,I have never been so pleased with a rental, I stayed an extra two nights and would have loved to stay longer! Sharron also welcomed my son and I with a thank you card along with a lavish platter of cheese, delicious shrimp salad, nuts, grapes, pita and more to munch on after a long trip which was very much appreciated. I can’t say enough about this amazing space, definitely not for young children or anyone looking for a party. But if you want clean, comfortable, quiet, this is the place to get it! I look forward to returning. Last thing , although this is a shared space you would never have known it, we felt we had it to ourselves the entire stay. Thank uou Sharon !
