Hi, Paul, I suspect your family had a pleasant stay, based on the 5 stars, we appreciate the kind rating. Sounds like you saw more bears than you planned on, lol. Yes, we do have a small family of brown bears who like to visit the complex, and downtown Gatlinburg as well. But they don’t present any real safety issues, as long as people use common sense in dealing with them. Anyway, glad you all enjoyed your time there, and hope the bears didn’t scare you off from a return visit. We would love to host your family again in the future. Best regards! Bob and Cindi

Catherine than you for your kind review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. I’ll admit the drive up was challenging on our first visit. But after the first drive up t’s not so bad. That’s the adventure in our Mountain Adventure condo! 😁 Thank you for reminding me about the master bedroom. I’ve been forgetful in letting our guests know how we manage that external light at night. We place our carry on against the light blocking curtains. It helps keep that light from creeping in. But I will see if there’s some way we can pin down or latch the curtains somehow, so they do a better job.
