Beautiful ocean front property with amazing views. Two things to note: 1. Beach front access is shared public walkway that goes directly next to house and pool.2. No trash cans. All trash bags must be walked or driven to the dumpsters at the end of the road which was around 1/4 to 1/2 mile.

Great house a few minor details changed. No outside speakers and no pool lights, but we made it work as best we could bunk beds didn't work for us this time, so may have to look for a different place for next year.

Well kept property with breathtaking sunrises! Elevator makes hauling luggage and groceries easy. Beds comfortable. Loved that all bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Many restaurants within 1-2 miles. The only caution would be the steep walk to and from the beach if you have trouble with mobility and the dining table is a high top.

Perfect location & comfortable home

I want to start with all the positives. You could not beat the location, view, and amenities for this house. The cleaning staff did an excellent job as well. The cleaning staff was even finished early to allow us early entry beyond the 1st floor guarantee. We found items in the kitchen that were on the “not available” list. We found a waffle maker, crockpot, multiple coffee makers, & a toaster oven. Let's not forget the elevator! Wow! The elevator worked flawlessly the entire week. It's now a must have for our crew. We would definitely rent this home again if a few adjustments were made. Now for the cons, there aren't many! The sectional has seen better days. It's not nasty nor tore up. It's just very used. Same for the beds. When you entered the room you can see the “ruts” with the bed freshly made. I personally didn't find the beds comfortable, but I was only one, so I do not consider that a mark. I consider the very used mattress done & time to be replaced. As for all the nice finds in the kitchen, they were shadowed by the lack of proper cooking utensils. For less than $50 the cooking utensil shortage could be fixed! Notes for future guests, wash your towels on day one. Not because the towels service does a bad job, but because the towels are way better quality than they look out of the package once fluff dried. Lastly as a personal search, I would love for some sort of lounger on the 2nd or top deck. To be able to fall a sleep watching the waves would be a dream.

The house was just great. There were 6 of us and we had a great time. The game room was enjoyed by all, especially our younger members as it was just a bit to cold to be outside. And we also enjoyed a couple of movie nights in the theater room. The management team was very responsive to a minor issue we had.

We had a wonderful stay at Mi Casa Su Casa. The house was clean, as advertised and the location was wonderful. We spent all our days watching the dolphins from the deck, toes in the sand and watching the kids splash around the pool (and rescue a crab or two). The location was quiet and enjoyable. Evenings the kitchen was well equipped to cook in and we appreciated the many plates and bowls the house offered. Also plenty or restaurants only a few minutes away when we didn't feel like cooking. We had a lot of fun watching movies in the movie room. There was many emails sent before our trip about renting beach gear, golf carts and the check out procedure/house details but there was a small glitch and we didn't get the house code on the date expected. A quick phone call and it was resolved immediately by the property management company. We really appreciated that bedding and towels were included and even a nice welcome pack with some consumables to get us started. We would definitely stay again.

We found that the photos of the house accurately represented the property. The home was clean, well maintained, and in excellent condition. The air conditioning kept the house comfortable throughout our stay. The pool had been cleaned before our arrival on Sunday and was serviced again on Wednesday, which we appreciated. Our granddaughters especially enjoyed spending time in the private pool. One thing to be aware of is that crabs occasionally find their way into the pool, so you may need to scoop them out before swimming. The rental included a voucher for beach equipment, which we were happy to take advantage of. It made it easy to obtain the beach gear we needed and saved us the expense and hassle of buying or renting those items ourselves. The home also has a passenger elevator, which made it easy to move ourselves, luggage, groceries, and other personal items between floors without repeated trips on the stairs. The rental instructions ask guests to inspect the house upon arrival and report any issues. We didn't notice any significant problems until later in the week when we decided to use the grill. We discovered that the grill controls were badly rusted and would not operate. We emailed Shoreline, and by the end of the day they had delivered a brand-new propane grill to the patio. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The home was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and Shoreline's quick response to the grill issue demonstrated excellent customer service. We would be happy to rent through them again.

We LOVED the location, the view, the layout of the house and the amenities i.e. hot tub, number of bedrooms & bathrooms, the table that sat all 10 of us and the view from the balcony. (Did I already mention the view?)Some of the negative issues we experienced include the condition of the pool - looked unclean; the condition of the pool area - very weathered and in need of updates; the condition of the living room furniture, particularly the sectional sofa - very used and uncomfortable and one reclining end didn't work. The biggest issues were the electrical and air conditioning problems we experienced. If we plugged in both electric golf carts to charge in the carport, we discovered that threw the breakers that not only resulted in some lights not working, but the modem and router that control the wi-fi connection, internet and TVwere affected! We finally located the breaker box and reset this. We also discovered that there are 2 air conditioner units, 1 that controls the top floor and 1 that control the second and first floors. The unit for the 2 lower floors stopped working - twice! And the temps were in the 90's! We called Shoreline OBX who sent out a repairman who fixed it the 1st time. We left the day after the 2nd time. The host said the property had recently been sold and the new owners were unable to update anything while in prime season. They did refund us 500, but for the price we paid, our expectations fell short. Nevertheless, our family did enjoy the time spent

We spent the last two weeks here and cannot say enough how wonderful this home is! Perfect beach house - breathtaking views from the kitchen. We have two small children so the top floor open concept was perfect for us and they loved the movie room!! Definitely would recommend. Also the property management was excellent to work with!

Wonderful Oceanfront Experience!

We have stayed at a few oceanfront properties in Duck but this home was by far the closest to the ocean, just steps from the beach and access is right beside the home. Parents with young children would love this feature! The beds were comfy, the living, dining room and kitchen space roomy. The theatre room made watching football and movies a delight though reclining stadium seating would be ideal for us 'old' folks (hehe). Shoreline was amazing to work with and the owner even had a Christmas tree and sprinkles of Christmas waiting for us! Thank you so much for making our family vacation the best!!!!

Excellent Stay

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Mi Casa Su Casa. The house was clean, met all of our needs, and had lots of space to hangout. We loved staying here and definitely will consider it for our next vacation.

Our group of friends spend a week every year in the puter banks. We usually stay in a different house and location each time. However, we cant stay anywhere else now that weve stayed at this house! Wonderful Week

Our house for the week had everything you could want or need in a vacation rental. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of space, relaxing decks, pool and hot tub and steps to the beach! It was a great experience and Shoreline OBX Realty was so easy to work with. We will definitely be back!

House was fantastic,exactly as described and pictured. Our family had a great time and was more than enough space for 6 adults and 2 kids. We even had an extra bedroom because our kids ended up wanting to use the den instead of the bunks. We had constant communication throughout hurricane Erin and never felt like we didnt know what was happening.

Perfect stay

Could not have asked for a better location, house is only steps from the ocean. Due to having 2 older women in our group who have trouble with steps the elevator was an absolute blessing. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a beach getaway and look forward to coming back personally next year.

Perfect Beach House for Our Family

We just finished our 5th year of staying in Mi Casa Su Casa, and it's perfect for our extended family! We have the max limit of 14 people, ranging from 8 to 82. There are 4 master bedrooms, perfect for our 4 couples. The 4 youngest cousins enjoy being together in the bunk room, and the 2 eldest cousins love sharing the daybed room. The theatre room is a big hit overall, and the elevator and proximity to the beach are exactly what is needed for the matriarch and patriarch of our crew. Thank you for another memorable year in OBX!

As Close As It Gets

Unbelievable views from every communal spot on the top floor and the second floor oceanfront bedrooms. Having a bathroom for every bedroom and two half baths for living spaces was ideal. We loved it so much, we booked the house again for a week in the summer.

My family absolutely loved this house

I had a emergency brain surgery and did not get to go but made my husband daughter son In law. By granddaughter that is 6 was so excited I could let her miss out.
