This was the best vacation property that we have stayed at. The owners were responsive to any questions we had and accommodating in every way. Clothing and food were all that we needed to be comfortable in this lovely cottage.

Owls Nest offers lakeside enjoyment inclusive of views down the length of Biscay Pond, kayaks and paddle boards with which to explore, and even a swim platform anchored close to shore. The 'nest' itself is nicely situated on a private lot and offers all the comforts of home. Hosts Irina and Vincent have neglected nothing. They're also readily available to address questions, make recommendations, etc. One visit alone will convince you to plan the next.

What a beautiful house! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Owl’s Nest. We loved the tasteful decor, new appliances, comfortable furnishings inside and outside, all absolutely immaculate! Our hosts were very welcoming and provided every amenity. We had fun swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing in beautiful Biscay Pond. The views of the pond from the house are breathtaking. And we watched (and heard) lots of loons. 10 out of 10! Highly recommended!

The views of Biscay Pond are enough to recommend The Owl’s Nest, but the location is also hard to beat. It was the perfect home base for all of our activities between Camden and Boothbay. The house is so clean and tidy it was easy to get comfortable and relax. It was fully stocked with everything needed, including the outdoor gear. Don’t miss the binoculars on the bookshelf. We were lucky to see a bald eagle catch a fish and two loons trying to warn it off. The hosts were extremely welcoming and responsive. They provided lots of info on the area, from where to eat to where to paddle. It was well worth the 12 hour drive for us and we would absolutely stay again. Can’t recommend it enough.

This is an amazing house. Amazing views. Right on the water. A great place to kayak, and fish. Very close to town but the feeling is you’re all by yourself. No neighbors next-door can see your activities. We have stayed at this house five times with separate guests. All of our guest thoroughly enjoyed the experience in the house. The kitchen is well stocked and allows for any kind of cooking. We will be back.

Perfect vacation home.

We had a wonderful summer vacation at this beautiful waterfront home. House was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Spent our days kayaking and swimming on the water and exploring the local town and surrounding areas. Owners were very responsive and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. We can’t wait to return!

Our hosts Irina &Vincent were as warm and welcoming as on prior visits. Their bright and airy lakeside home offered all of the amenities that one might want - modern yet cozy, complete with kayaks and paddleboards ready to be launched.Already we are eager to return.

Even though November is a quieter time at Owl's Nest (those few weeks between the stunning foliage and the onset of many winter activities on Biscay Pond), the lake still charms with its tranquil vibe, and the Damariscotta area entertains with many local year-round businesses & seasonal happenings.

Always the best week of the year! We returned to the Owl's Nest for the 5th time this summer and enjoyed an amazing week. We love enjoying the views from the two decks, and going out on the paddle boards and kayaks to explore is always fun. Our daughter has grown up here and we can't wait to come back again and continue making memories.

The Owl's Nest

This was our third stay at this house. We like it for its location on the lake, comfort and cleanliness. The hosts are very helpful and offer many suggestions of activities in the area. We always feel welcome here.

Another Great Stay!

Our second year in a row at this beautiful house. We spent many hours boating, paddleboarding and swimming in the lake. The house had everything we needed - well stocked kitchen, books, games and cozy blankets for chilly evenings. We are already dreaming about our visit next year!

Owl's Nest

The best thing I can say about Owl's Nest is that we stayed there last year, again this year, and when we come back we will hope to stay there again. The house couldn't be better and the location is idyllic. And on top of that Irina is just the best.

Wonderful rowing and lovely time with family

We had a wonderful stay with my parents. Beautiful location with easy access to a wonderful region of Maine. The lake is perfect for rowing. Nice house with gorgeous views from the front room. Easy communication with our hosts, too! Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Rowing and Family Vacation

Wonderful stay again this year at Owls Nest. Love the location on the pond, perfect for sculling. Beautiful home and so well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. And truly love midcoast Maine with the ocean, rivers, lakes, and family that live nearby. Loved our stay! Thank you!

Owl’s Nest

This was our second stay at Owl’s Nest this year. The house is always immaculately clean and the setting is extraordinarily beautiful. Irina and Vince could not be better. Oh and we are going back to Owl’s Nest next year.
