The rental was nicely decorated and very clean. Only thing to note is the parking can be a bit tight for a larger vehicle, but we made it work and enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location and cozy place

I had a great stay in Boone. The apartment was perfect. Walkable to a lot of spots. They had the essentials in the kitchen.

Mother daughter trip

We have been coming for the 4th of July for many years and have always did a hotel. This was a great change! The host was very accessible and it was great to stay in a convenient location. No complaints at all!

Well appointed apartment with nice furnishings. Very nicely laid out and offered everything we needed to be comfortable. Very convenient to shops and restaurants on King Street. David was responsive and accurately presents the space. We look forward to staying there again as we love the area.

Wonderful stay

Me and my wife love Boone and this was truly the Urban Oasis we had been looking for. The space was super clean and relaxing. You wouldn’t even know you were staying on the Main Street in town given how quiet it was. David is an incredible host. We can’t wait to come back and stay here, again.

Cute 2nd story apartment VERY close to town

The unit is very cute and nicely decorated. Has a very nice kitchen area, which we did not use during our one night stay. The location is excellent - one block walk to the heart of downtown Boone. We were able to easily walk to the Performing Arts center on campus for a concert. A/C is a window unit (not central air), but it felt cool enough for me. Parking is off-street, but the alley back to the duplex is tight. A large SUV would be tough to maneuver and park, IMO. There are stairs only to the second floor, so keep that in mind when booking.

Comfy and Chic

Adorable and classy, these studio space was perfect for our trip to Boone and App State. We were able to walk to restaurants, shops and campus. The space was clean and comfortable. The host was responsive and accommodating.

Beautiful apartment!

We had a wonderful long weekend! Perfect location to walk to dinner and tour the campus. Comfortable living arrangements! Host was very hospitable.

Staying in downtown Boone

Great location and comfortable apartment in Boone. Amenities are available and the coffee is good. Having UHT half and Half was really appreciated. Downtown is steps away and Boone is lovely in any season.Trump’s tariff war will prevent a return visit but otherwise I’d recommend it.

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful time here! The location is perfect for walking to the shops along historic downtown, and the property is so cute! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay and Location

This was a great place to stay in very convenient location in Boone right off King Street in walking distance of restaurants and shops. The owner had great communication and responded quickly to any questions. I was only planning on staying two nights but got stuck here due to snow and was able to extend my stay another day with ease. Owner was very friendly and was a very clean and nice place to stay. I would come back again and definitely recommend!

Excellent place to stay

The property is very clean, updated, comfortable, and the location is great. The property is tucked back behind a business away from the main street so it is quiet - thank goodness for very good directions from the host who is also very responsive to any questions. I recommend this property and will look for it again on our next visit to Boone.

Added up, David and Rachel Sanders have lived in the High Country for nearly 70 years. David has worked as an instructor and administrator at ASU and the local community college, while Rachel works in healthcare. The couple have three children, three dogs, and four cats. (In fact, David is no longer allowed by his wife to go to the Humane Society alone.)

David and Rachel enjoy customer service and helping others, and they are happy to be available to you to help you plan your stay in the beautiful North Carolina mountains.
