Ever wanted to know what it is like to live right on the sugar-white sand? Well, you won't have to winder any longer when you call this fantastic Dauphin Island retreat home for a little while! Waverly, a four-bedroom oceanfront gem that is more than ready to accommodate the whole family, is perched on the west end of the island to give you a bit of peace and quiet while still being near all of the action. As soon as the sun comes up, listen to the tide ebb and flow on the furnished deck. Or, if everyone has built up an appetite from a full day at the beach, fire up the gas grill and have a casual cookout with loved ones. For more formal meals, the full kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, wonderful white countertops, an island, dishwasher, and deep sink. Plus, everyone can be part of the conversation during meal prep with the dining area adjacent to the kitchen. When it is time to settle down, the living room features three sofas and a mounted flatscreen TV to make movie nights a breeze, and all four bedrooms are on each corner of the home to give everyone some privacy.

We rented this property the week of Thanksgiving and it was perfect for the 7 of us. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. While the house next door is close, there are still amazing views and steps away from the Gulf.

The house is very nice and clean, this is one time that I really felt like the pictures didn't do it justice. The back deck is huge and a perfect spot for catching some rays and watching the ocean. You can see the beach pefectly from the back deck. It was nice to be able to sit up there and still be able to have a close eye on the kids playing in the waves. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were nice amd didnt feel cramped. It was a great home away from home for four adults and three kids.

The house was in a prime location on the west end of the island- very quiet and almost empty beaches. The house was very clean and upgraded. We loved having a bathroom for each bedroom. The only negative is the fridge runs at 50 degrees, the ice maker and water dispenser in the fridge were not working and neither was the garbage disposal in the sink. Other than those things, the house made for a great weekend trip!

Great house for family trip

Our party was 4 adults and 2 kids. This house was the perfect size for us and we loved that there were 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The house is super cute and had plenty of needed dishes, utensils, towels, etc. As seen in one of the pictures, there is a house in front of this, which blocks most of the view, but there is enough of a view that you don't really feel like you're missing out on anything. Very short walk to the beach and a large porch to hang out on. Great location at the far west end of the island.

Bday getaway

The house was as described, very nice, clean, well- equipped. The staff was responsive to our concerns and got back to us quickly when needed. The back porch was awesome and spacious. The location was not ideal as there is a house directly in front on the ocean side. We could still see the ocean, at an angle. No beach to speak of, but it didn't spoil our fun. We could walk down to the beach where there was space to spread out. All in all, a very nice week

Great beach house

We had a wonderful stay! The home offered semi-private access to the beach and was just a short walk to the West End beach. The room sizes were spacious, and each bedroom had its own bathroom, which made the stay comfortable and convenient. Perfect spot for a relaxing coastal getaway.

It was Bananas how close you are to the water at this location! Other than that we had an excellent stay. Very calming decor with everything we needed and quiet to the close waves.

Perfect

Perfect place to experience the best Dauphin Island has to offer. Clean and updated with awesome views. Loved the large deck which was very steps away to the water. Great that it's pet friendly. A lot of steps but typical for the location. Highly recommended and hope to stay again.

Red Flag weekend

Although the waves were crashing onto the beach just outside the house, the sounds were soft inside. The house was perfect for our group, four bedrooms each with its own bath. The house is a short walk to the west end public beach, a wonderful place to explore and beach comb. We would definitely stay there again, even though two bedroom doors stick against uneven floors and some minor wall damage.

Amazing house.

We loved the layout of the house and the high ceilings. It had great natural lighting and views of the ocean. Parking was easy and even though it stormed and had some flooding, the Vacasa agent on the island ensured we were safe and accounted for our vehicle by assisting us in moving it to a better location during the flooding. The house was safe and never lost power.

Absolutely the most amazing place. I have never been to Dauphin island but the friends I traveled with had visited the island a few times prior. Everything was amazing. The house was perfect. My friends even said it was the best place they have stayed on the island. 10/10 recommend.
