You can't get closer to the Pacific Ocean than this! Situated on the West edge of Maui between the world-renowned golf course at Kapalua and the world-famous Ka'anapali Beach, you are perfectly positioned to access Maui's top beaches, golf courses, shopping, restaurants, & tourist attractions. Our condo is located on a small, quiet property in the quaint town of Kahana.
Complex:
The Kahana Outrigger is a boutique condo complex, home to just 16 exclusive units individually owned by both part and full-time resident owners. It is a lush and welcoming community where owners and vacationers alike share common courtesy and joy amongst one another. The complex, located on the Lower Road, runs parallel to the main highway on Maui. There are tons of restaurants, shops, golf courses, and activities very close by. You have easy access to the world-renowned Ka'anapali Beach, a 10-15 minute drive South, or world-renowned snorkeling and hiking 10-15 minutes to the North in Kapalua.
The majestic Pacific Ocean is in plain view from anywhere on the property. The common pool deck is newly renovated and features 2 BBQ's, lounge furniture, and a large pool. A private, secluded beach flanked by lava rocks is just steps away, with boundless ocean in sight and glimpses of neighboring islands Lanai and Molokai on the horizon.
Condo:
Our 3 bed, 2 bath condo is one of the only on the property that features a completely unobstructed, postcard-worthy view of the ocean. From standing inside the kitchen and looking out the floor-to-ceiling windows, or basking on the lanai furniture with a cold drink in hand, you will be rewarded daily with mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets over the Pacific. Depending on the time of year you arrive, you may also be rewarded with front row views of dolphins jumping, whales breaching, or sea turtles gliding - a truly mesmerizing experience! These breathtaking views are just a few of the reasons this unit is superior on the property to others.
This condo features an upstairs loft king bedroom suite, a downstairs king bedroom suite, and a third bedroom with a queen bed and a full bunk bed. Upstairs, the suite includes a skylight, sliding closet doors, a double vanity with natural sunlight, and separate wash room. The shower is a tiled walk-in shower with window privacy and natural sunlight.
The two downstairs bedrooms share a full-sized bathroom, complete with a double vanity and tiled shower/tub combo. Easy entrances on either side with locking capabilities offer privacy when needed. Both bedrooms feature sliding closet doors as well as dressers, allowing you to unpack, unwind, and settle into your new island home.
A fully stocked kitchen for cooking and BBQing in, you'll find enough seating between the kitchen counter stools and dining area, giving you everything you need to nourish your family at home.
In the living room, a full-sized wrap around couch and a smart TV allow a true home away from home experience.
Since acquiring this property in Summer 2021, we have upgraded appliances and furnishings, paint, tile flooring, and installed a brand new refrigerator to uphold the island-modern style of this family-owned condo. It will truly feel like your home away from home! The fully stocked kitchen features granite countertops, a new range and all new appliances. There is a washer/dryer in unit to accommodate your laundry needs. We supply bath and beach towels, kitchen appliances, and bathroom/shower soaps for your stay. There is also a pack 'n play for young ones.
Things to note:
- Unit 3B1 is on the second story of the complex, which is only accessible by stairs. There are no elevators on this property.
- Our lanai gets direct sun midday, often getting quite hot. We invite you to enjoy your morning coffee or sunset cocktails here with the soothing sounds of the tide right below.
Your reservation comes with one designated free parking spot to use during your stay. For those who need additional parking spots, there are 3 “guest” spots in the parking lot that are available on a first come, first serve basis. They cannot be reserved nor guaranteed. You may also find free parking along the shoulder of the road if needed.
FYI: our property was completely unharmed during the disaster in August and we are happy to report that the governor has re-opened travel and tourism as of October 8, 2023. We graciously welcome your stay here as we are eager to support all of the Maui businesses who have been struggling without tourism.

The Kahana Outrigger is a small, peaceful complex where you can relax and feel safe. You can hear the waves crashing onto the private shoreline from anywhere on the property, and witness one of the world's best sunsets right from the condo.
The quiet nature of Kahana will make you feel like you're truly submerged in life on Maui, while the popular towns Kaanapali and Kapalua are just a short drive away with tons of renowned restaurants and activities for any age.
