Welcome to the Boathouse on Mill Creek!

Fully renovated waterfront cottage with private dock on Mill Creek in Lusby MD. Located less than 45 miles from the capital beltway, next to Solomons Island and only 15 minutes by paddleboard or car with lots of shops and restaurants. Bring your boat and jet skies. There is a boat launch less than .5 miles from home. The perfect destination for fishing/crabbing, boating, water activities, or just relaxing with a book watching the boats pass by from the living room or lawn.
The upper level is completely renovated with a new kitchen, bath, and 2 bedrooms: the kitchen, dining, and living area offer panoramic water views. A wood stove and firewood are provided for the cooler months.
The lower level allows families and friends to spread out with a Foosball table, a large leather sectional with a smart TV. A wet bar with a beverage fridge leads you to the shaded patio with a teak dining table and outdoor shower. The lower level also has a bedroom with a king bed and a set of twin bunk beds. The bathroom has also been fully renovated with a walk-in shower.

Wonderful House and Location

Gorgeous views from the great room, well equipped kitchen, and more amenities than we had time to use. Very comfortable and close to sites, restaurants and shops. Host was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Great spot for a quiet summer vacation

The Boathouse was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We really appreciated access to everything available: paddle boards, kayaks, crab traps, bait and accessories.

Awesome property!

This was an awesome place for a long weekend. The house came equipped with anything you need…kayaks, crabbing equipment, even bait. It was a fantastic place to spend with the family.

Wonderful Family Vacation - Lovely Home!

My family had a wonderful stay relaxing, fishing and crabbing off the dock, paddle boarding and enjoying beautiful sunsets from this well appointed home. We didn’t have to bring much from home as there were many thoughtful items provided including sunsceeen and shampoo, first aid kits, and even bait. A memorable trip for my family - highly recommend and we would definitely love to stay here again!

Family Friendly Getaway

Beautiful house set on a beautiful property. The house has everything you will need to enjoy your stay. Our kids enjoyed crabbing/ fishing on the dock and the downstairs bedroom was the perfect area for all of them to relax at night. Also plenty of paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy on the water. A nice quiet area just to sit back and relax.

Girls getaway

House was beautiful and well thought out. Amenities were great . The view was so relaxing. The bedding was comfortable. I'm glad none of us had to sleep on the top bunk, it was too close to the ceiling. The outdoor fire pit was great. We would definitely go back

Very cute

Very cute house loved the interior seems great for a bigger family multi family and the dock with the kayaks and the paddle boards are perfect. Messed up my plans and the host was very accommodating for me. Definitely would stay here again.

Relaxing on the water

Host was quick to respond and very informative. We utilized the dock for fishing and crabbing. Host provided everything you would need to enjoy the time by the water. We even docked our boat there for a couple nights making it easy for us to come and go and relax on the water! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect cottage getaway to relax on the water

This is a wonderful home with a prime location on the water. The kitchen has everything you need, and the living room is set up comfortably. The outdoor space adds another dimension to the house. We enjoyed watching the sun set and being on the water. We'd love to come again.

Fun getaway

Great location and wonderful property! We had everything we could possibly need and then more. We particularly enjoyed crab pots, paddle boards, and kayaks. Easy drive to restaurants nearby. We will be back.

Boathouse on Mill Creek is a Gem!

The Boathouse on Mill Creek is top notch. We appreciated all of the design details and the very well equipped kitchen. Our group of 4 adults enjoyed paddling, sitting on the dock reading and watching all the activity on the water, cooking, and relaxing with great water views out the windows. Dee was immediately responsive and very helpful with local recommendations. Lots of activity options near by, but you won’t be in any hurry to leave this beautiful spot.

Escape from the City

The house is amazing and much more beautiful in person. The host was responsive and extremely accommodating. I cannot wait to book this lovely home again as I plan on using this house for future weekend get aways with family and friends.

Boat House on Mill Creek

A beautiful house and extremely comfortable! The views are amazing! We even went crabbing and everyone had a blast checking on the cages and eating them. We; unfortunately, had rain the first 3 days, but there was a great play place for the grands. And of course a great time to fish is in the rain. We had a fantastic family vaca. I can not recommend this place enough! My family wants to come back next year

Absolutely perfect stay

I spent a long weekend at this property with family. The house is absolutely perfect and exactly as it’s shown online! The host thought of absolutely everything. The whole house was very clean and very comfortable. I didn’t think it was possible but the view is even better in person. We are definitely looking forward to booking this house again in the warmer months!

Awesome Stay

My family and I loved our stay at the Boathouse! The private dock access to the water for swimming, fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and paddle boarding made for endless fun for the kids and adults too. The home was in excellent condition with comfortable living spaces and outstanding views of the water from the main floor. Being a short ride to grocery stores and restaurants was a plus too! Dee Dee was also very helpful through the process and our stay and was responsive anytime we reached out to connect - which wasn’t often since everything was in great shape and well explained. We highly recommend the Boathouse and definitely hope to be back for another stay!

Lovely first time trip to Mill Creek

This property is lovely! The location and view are the highlight. Gorgeous dock and the 3-person overwater hammock is so relaxing in the mornings and around sunset. We weren’t aware that jellyfish can be a major issue and they were everywhere which meant swimming wasn’t possible so we had to do other activities. Day boat rentals in Solomons was easy and there are lots of restaurants all within 10 minutes!

The boathouse has everything a family could need-plus things that you never would have thought to ask for. The kids had fun crabbing off the pier and kayaking around between neighboring piers. The adults enjoyed having our boat tied up for crabbing and pleasure cruising. Sit in the living room and watch the action on the water. Beautiful sunsets. Its got everything!

Spring Break Getaway

We loved everything about this charming house. The sunset views are really spectacular and the home was very clean, cozy and tastefully decorated. Spending time in the living space feels like being in a water side treehouse! It was conveniently located to markets, Solomons Island and several parks and trails. Our group ranged in age from our youngest son (11)to my parents in their 70s and everyone was happy. I especially appreciated the provided linens in all white, they were comfortable and I didn't worry about cleanliness. We would love to return!

Pristine home, perfect location!

Walking into this home it’s hard to know what to be more pleased by- the amazing view, or the professional and stylish finishing. This recently renovated house has anything you would ever need to comfortably hang out with friends, along with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy some solitude. We loved watching the boats pass by while enjoying the sun and breezes on the dock. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathrooms and kitchen were all spotless and well-appointed. We loved every bit of this stay- it’s a little piece of heaven!

Absolutely beautiful!

This home is absolutely beautiful…inside and out. The view from the house was beyond amazing and the sunsets were even better. The house was spotless and had everything you would need made available to you (except for food). The pictures don’t do it justice. We spent hours on the dock relaxing, fishing, crabbing and enjoying the breeze and the sun! Enjoyed using the kayaks and touring the area from the water. Loved every minute we were there and were sad to see our week go by so quickly. A gem of a find! You will not be disappointed!!!!
