The rental was clean and extremely comfortable with everything you could need. It was quiet peaceful and the most beautiful sunrises imaginable. This is a great location, the owners Steve and Johanne are very helpful and accommodating.Great views, bed was comfortable good kitchen. Location is central to many locations on NS like mahone bay, Chester, Peggy’s cove, Halifax and Wolfville is only a little over an hour away. Would highly recommend this location. Note - there are 15 stairs to the accommodation so if you have mobility issues take that into consideration.

Host Steve and Johan are super nice and provided everything we needed. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and they made it so special with a fresh lobster supper and a tour round the bay in their boat. We had no real plans on this trip. We got up and did day trips from this location which is not far from Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg and Oak Island. Halifax is like 35 min away. There is a walking /biking trail across the road. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet restful spot.

This ‘home away from home’ is lovely. We can’t say anything negative about it at all. If you like to relax on a deck by the water, or simply view it from a large picture window, this is the place for you. The hosts are very accommodating and the location allows visits to quaint seaside villages in either direction as well as being within an easy commuting distance to Halifax for the day. Laundry facilities were most welcome, within the unit itself, and the full kitchen and bbq meant we could eat in very comfortably, to save a bit on meals. Very bright and cheery;nice seaside vibe.
