Enjoy the “The All Sports Waterfront”, on the Huron River Chain of 8 Lakes. This 1930’s Sear’s Kit House is cozy, comfortable and clean, 2BR/1BA, approximately 900 square feet including sun room. moderately updated, rustic by nature. Walking distance to The Strawberry Lake Lodge, a wedding venue facility. One mile to Lakeland Trails-26 miles, cycling, hiking, equestrian & cross country skiing. A few miles to Potawatomi Trail-17 mile loop, hiking, cycling, swimming, SUP, kayaking & the best fishing all year round!

The cottage faces south you get east/west exposure, you will have to go out on the chain of lakes to see sunrises and sunsets! 🌅

The Lily Pad, Strawberry Lakefront Cottage is cozy, comfortable & clean!

Retro 1930’s Sear’s and Roebuck Kit House has 2BR/1BA, 900 square feet including the 3 seasons sun room! Water frontage, private dock on the East side neighbor to the West has the other half. In season if you bring watercraft owned or rented I need to know in advance.

Sunroom painted in designer paint colors and front porch just stained and painted. Working on painting the trim on the exterior of the cottage in the coming months…Summer 2024.

Private front porch has a bistro table, 2 chairs, and a large bench seat with cushions.

Kitchen is a step back in time with knotty pine walls, cathedral ceilings, old school pink counter tops and original flooring.

Kitchen is well stocked including: Full sets of dishes, glasses, coffee cups, silverware, cooking, mixing, measuring and baking utensils. Avocado oil, spices, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee pods, tea and bottles of water in the refrigerator.

Appliances: Side by side refrigerator, gas stove and microwave. Kuerig and Mr Coffee coffee makers, coffee grinder, blender and toaster.

Water station is suitable for drinking, cooking, making ice cubes, use this for the Keurig.

Bathroom is off the kitchen with newer flooring, sink with vanity, toilet, VINTAGE, (Duraliner) walk-in shower and hot water heater, fully equipped with WELL WATER! *See house rules on how to operate the shower. Bath essentials: Pantene shampoo & conditioner, Dove Body Wash. Dove Bar Soap-in medicine cabinet, plenty of toilet paper, Kleenex, first aid kit, plenty of towels in the wicker basket and in the white cabinet are also included during your stay.

Breakfast nook with wood high top table and 4 wood adjustable bar stools.

*Brand new wall to wall carpeting through out the family room and both bedrooms. *Please remove your shoes while inside the cottage!

Spacious family room with Pottery Barn couch and chairs which have feather-down comfy cushions and throw pillows. Brand new Seagrass end tables with Seagrass lamps, Seagrass coffee table with glass top and coasters. Added bonus plenty of leather ottomans for additional seating to play games or cards!

Wall mounted 42" HD Plasma Pioneer Television is above the heated electric fireplace, included: FireStick for all of your streaming devices, Apple T.V. and Hulu, High Speed At & t internet, DVD player & plenty of DVD movies, books and games.

When using the DVD player, on the Pioneer remote hit HDMI #5.

Electric heated fireplace for added comfort and ambiance during the winter months.

Brand new Williamson 50000 BTU, wall furnace, thermostat is only for the furnace it is located on the wall between the breakfast nook and living room, Carbon Monoxide detector is above the thermostat. Also equipped with a smoke detector and the fire extinguisher is next to the gas stove on the wall to the left.

Brand new window air conditioner with remote control, in the family room. Lighted ceiling fans in both bedrooms, window fans with 3 speeds (2) in family room windows (If it’s hot and humid the window fans are in the knotty pine cabinet in family room above locked closet) and a high velocity fan that you can move around the cottage is also provided for your use.

Twin room has 2 Seagrass headboards with upscale Serta mattresses and box springs with plenty of feather pillows, lighted ceiling fan, closet with hangers, bath robes (2), yard games, extra lawn chairs for guests, some life vests, however you should bring your own.

Full room has a full size Seagrass headboard upscale Serta mattress and box springs with a feather topper for added comfort, plenty of feather pillows, closet with hangers, bath robes (2), extra blankets, pillows, sheets, towels, clothes steamer and yard games including corn hole (please do not leave the boards outside after playing), end table with salt lamp, lighted ceiling fan and pretty views of the lake.

Freshly painted sun room is off the freshly painted family room with pretty views of Strawberry Lake. Vintage palatial glass windows, Pottery Barn Seagrass sectional with comfortable cushions and pillows. End tables and lighted palm trees for you to enjoy!

Spacious deck with solar lighting overlooks Strawberry Lake with patio furniture seating for six, 2 lounge chairs for sunbathing, 6 Adirondack chairs to put by the lake or the fire pit.

Gas heater, Weber gas and charcoal grills for added amenities.

Please leave the Weber gas and charcoal grills just as you found them!

Trash pick up is early Thursday morning, please put your trash out Wednesday evening. I share trash and recycling pick up with my neighbors Eric and Brielle across the street at 4775
Downing Drive. Please put your trash and recyclables in the big green bins prior to checking out.
