Stay here to get a local's experience, and skip the hotel room -- you won't miss it!
The Space:
The first bedroom is spacious and bright with three full windows. The second bedroom is also spacious more toward the back of the home, with a some closet space. Both bedrooms have an attached en suite bathroom with a full size shower / 1 with tub. Both rooms have large TVs with Roku (access to Netflix provided). An additional TV is available in the living room area.

Nice unit BUT VERY NOISY. Weekdays the people and dog above were loud beginning at 5:40am. Friday night there was a party and music until 1:30am. I wish the quiet hours would have been in place for all building tenants.

The space was very clean, updated and well appointed. Super close to all of the museums and monuments. There was a market close by and places to hang out after a long day at the museums. Keep in mind this is a basement unit so there is alot of movement above the unit and you are sharing a hot water heater so take quick showers.

I assumed that you were aware that the property is a basement unit, since this information is included in the listing before booking. Because of this, there may be some normal household sounds from above. However, had I known about the noise issue during your stay, I would have taken action right away and reinforced our quiet hours to reduce disturbance as much as possible. Regarding the hot water, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will look into this issue and see what improvements can be made. I appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the property for future guests.

Overall, everything was great! Location, accommodations, and homey! Upstairs neighbors are early risers. More bathroom towels and a shower curtain would have made the stay perfect. Highly recommend if looking for a spot in a great neighborhood!

Great stay in DC
Overall a very nice stay in this property. Very convient to union station and all of the sites in DC. Also close to multiple grocery stores and nice neighborhood restaurants and coffee shops. My family would stay there again.

Perfect place. A bit of noise from upstairs but not a deterrent to staying here again. Great area. Lots of restaurants, stores to walk to. Can e walk to Union Station easily

This apartment was in the perfect location. It was very clean and comfortable. There were four adults in our party and we had plenty of room to relax. We were able to easily walk to the Capitol and explore the monuments and museums. The metro is a short walk away. The host communicated well, check in and check out were a breeze. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to DC.
