Welcome to Rocky Top, home sweet home to our guests. Located in beautiful Cosby TN known as the Adventure Side of the Smokies. Cosby sits along the Smoky Mountains and Cherokee National Forest.
Enjoy time with family and friends at the cabin, sitting beside a flowing creek and surrounded by trees and wildlife. NO steep, curvy mountains roads to climb. Lots of parking and yard to play in. Fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, lots of fun and games to enjoy such as a fire pit, horse shoes, corn hole, giant jenga, board games, and books for the kids. Bring your bicycles too. Only 30 minutes east of Gatlinburg and a few more miles to all the fun of Pigeon Forge. The Foothills Parkway is behind the cabin and has 4 amazing overlooks. Lots of area hiking trailheads to explore. A little piece of heaven in the woods but only 10 minutes from the town of Newport for local shopping, restaurants and Interstate 40.

Great basecamp for Smokies vacation

Family enjoyed coming back to this cabin for Family dinners and game nights after a day of hiking, adventures, and exploring. Cabin was stocked with all the essentials cookware for making good meals. We had a great summer vacation here!

This cabin was perfect! The hostess leaves you wanting for nothing. The setting was so serene and picturesque! Despite the weather being rainy, it was so nice to sit on the covered porch and listen to nature.

Great cabin!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway, just close enough to enjoy Gatlinburg and pigeon forge but far enough way to enjoy the peace and quiet! Had everything you could need and we would absolutely come back on our next trip!

Peaceful stay in beautiful setting

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful log cabin in a quiet and peaceful setting. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the bubbling stream and pasture. Our dog even had fun trying to figure out what the cattle and horses were. For me, the highlight was watching a tom turkey walk along the stream one morning gobbling a challenge to other toms in the area. The lanes into the area were narrow and reminded us of Ireland’s backroads which are a little over a car width wide. Trying to pass a school bus was real “fun”.

Destination Christmas

We all loved Rocky top. The cabin was beautiful and none of us wanted to leave. The host was welcoming and the hospitality was heart warming. The kids are ready to go back already.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Rocky Top cabin with our young kids and her parents. The cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend.

Rocky Top Bliss

This is the third year we have stayed at Rocky Top in October. The property is well maintained and improvements have greeted us every year. Lisa, our host, is very approachable and helpful. You won’t regret a stay at Rocky Top!

Awesome place

The cabin was wonderful. The drive in is a little narrow but that’s the only real complaint we had. Loved the creek out back and the fire pit.

Family get together

My daughter and her family live in Missouri and only see each other once a year. We had a wonderful time, kids loved the creek and the cows. Very kid friendly. Thank you for having a wonderful place to make memories.

We bought this cabin because of our love of the quiet, more laid back side of the Smokies that Cosby offers. Close to the interstate 40, shopping and restaurants yet a short drive to all the fun that Gatlinburg and PIgeon Forge has to offer. Our favorite thing to do at the cabin is to sit on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee and watch the squirrels play. Two of these I've lovingly named Chip & Joanna. Evenings may include a glass of wine while relaxing on the porch or by the firepit. We knew that when searching for a cabin of our own it had to be large enough for family visits..that was our 2nd love of Rocky Top. Lots of parking and flat ground to play on and 3 bedrooms for family to join us. Making smores at the firepit while a group plays horseshoes or cornhole. A competitive game of tug of war might be fun. Relax on the porch with checkers, tic tac toe, giant connect 4 and giana Jenga. Oh and we are dog friendly too as our beloved furbaby has to travel with us.
Nearby you will find local attractions such as several white water rafting locations. Llama Treks is only 5 minutes away. Enjoy the eastern side of the Smokies Foothills Parkway which pretty much is behind our cabin. Foothills Parkway is a 6 mile drive with some amazing viewing stops. This trail leads you right back to Interstate 40. We are a short drive on scenic 321 into Gatlinburg. Such a beautiful area. Visit the Greenbrier entrance to the Smokies, the Glades arts and crafts community or even take the back road into Pigeon Forge and Sevierville and explore our beautiful Smoky Mtn roads. Cosby sits along the Tennessee/North Carolina border giving you the option to visit the Cherokee Casino, Biltmore Mansion, Maggie Valley or Hot Springs NC all within an hours drive. Also within 30 minutes you will find Douglas Lake, historic Dandridge, Bush Beans visitor centerd and a wide variety of golf courses. Oh and if you're into the Moonshiners TV show, well its filmed right here in Cocke Co.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

No climbing, curvy mountain roads. Lots of parking. Family and Dog friendly. Creek to relax by. Wooded seclusion yet close to many ammenities. Our driveway is flat and we have lots of parking so great for guests pulling trailers, having larger vehicles or even motorcycles. If you're visiting one of the Rod Runs, your trailers are welcome here.
