We stayed at Malva’s house with my husband and our 5-year-old son, and we really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to cook and feel at home. The swimming pool was lovely, and the gated community felt safe, secure, and peaceful. The location is also great, about a 7-minute walk to the beach and 10–12 minutes to the Malecón.We had a small issue with the water pump during our stay, but as soon as I contacted Malva, she took care of it, and everything was fixed within a couple of hours. She was very proactive and responsive, which we really appreciated. The self-check-in and check-out made everything super easy and convenient. Another HUGE plus was the water heater! Hot water isn’t always a given in La Romana, so being able to enjoy hot showers and even wash dishes with hot water was definitely appreciated!Overall, we had a wonderful experience, felt right at home, and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Malva, for everything!

Lovely apartment with pool

Had a great stay, very clean, some initial trouble getting into the house due to the lockbox being hidden round the corner and the door being very stuck but we managed. Pool was great. Electric does tend to go off almost every day so the water stops working too, but it came back on eventually. Nice beaches but nicer ones further a field. Area was a bit quiet but we visited in the Easter holidays so maybe we missed the hotter season.

Estrella Marina

We occupied this unit from Jan 11 to Feb 1, 2025. The pictures online are precise. The home is equipped with all the amenities you need it is spacious and clean. The backyard pool and deck are a bonus feature. The pool was cleaned regularly. We encountered minor issues with power and water during our stay, but the host solved the problems prmptly when informed. The complex had 24hr security and was very safe. The location is excellent the beach is a 6 min walk with a ton of restaurants. I highly recommend this property. The location, the amenities, and the local people make for a wonderfully memorable vacation

We had a lovely stay in La Romana! The house is spacious and beautifully designed, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The three bedrooms offer a lot of space, and the private swimming pool was definitely the highlight — we truly enjoyed spending time there. The finishes throughout the house are nice — granite countertops, solid wooden doors, and easy-to-clean floors give the space a polished and pleasant feel. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need tool-wise, which made cooking convenient. Communication with the host was also smooth and responsive, which I appreciated. If I could make a few suggestions for improvement: the mattresses could definitely be more comfortable, and it would be great if a few basic essentials — like spices, soap, or coffee supplies — were provided, as the listing mentioned there would be some. Also, the coffee maker was missing a handle, which made it difficult to use safely.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a great time. With just a few small improvements, this house could be an even more wonderful place to stay. Thank you for hosting us — we left with beautiful memories.

La casa es fenomenal. Le quito un punto de limpieza porque vi unas cuentas cucarachas en la cocina, y porque al parecer las tuberías por falta de uso el agua salía con óxido al principio. Por lo demás es una muy buena casa para vacacionar en familia
