1st & Pearl Cottage er en fabelagtig stedet på Village Green i hjertet af Leland, Michigan. Dette historiske Leland hjem er kun en blok til shopping, restauranter, golf, fiskeri og sejlads. Gå eller cykle til Lake Michigan og Lake Leelanau adgang til stranden! Gå til alt. Sjov, centralt sted at bo med venner eller familie til at virkelig nyde denne magiske sted! bringe cykler, kajakker, SUP og 'park' dem i den originale vogn garage.
Dette varme og indbydende endnu moderne sommerhus tilbyder 5 soveværelser, 4 fulde bade, stort vaskeri, pejs, en rummelig spisestue til måltider eller spilnat, morgenmadskrog w gårdhavebord og en charmerende screenet i verandaen med udsigt over The Village Green. Vi har komfortable sovepladser til 10 gæster ideelt i (5) private soveværelser. En familie og bibliotek plads til kort, film, puslespil, kunst projekter. Adirondacks under det skyggefulde fyrretræ i den private have.

Tag en dagstur fra havnen til Manitouøerne for at føle som om du virkelig er blevet væk fra det hele. Eller tag en aften solnedgang cruise for en tur langs Lake Michigan kysten til Good Harbor og tilbage. se solnedgangen fra havnen kun få skridt fra hoveddøren, mens du spiser en iskegle eller smager lækker lokal kaffe.
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park inden for 12 miles, kun et par korte skridt fra huset er der endeløse strandpromenader og majestætiske solnedgange.

RULES RULES RULES

House was real nice but found it difficult to say family friendly. We learned upon check in that we were being watched by Melissa and the neighbors and her friends and reporting to them everything we were doing. CREEPY! Left 3 days early. Happy to do so. Leland lodge took us in on short notice and were perfectly accommodating to our family and friends.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry that you considered our property rules - which were clearly outlined in our profile, stated in the Guest Agreement, and further explained to you over the phone - as optional. Every property has terms of stay and our home's rules clearly included no pets, no smoking, and no use of owner's bikes. Yet you chose to ignore all 3 of these rules. That is why you were asked to leave 3 days early. This was especially disappointing to us after you asked us to find you a local kennel and a place to rent bicycles - which we did. We also shared in advance of stay that many family and friends live in Leland, and run businesses here. This is Leland - it is a small town where everyone looks out for one another and their properties. We're glad you were able to find alternate accommodations for your family and dog.

Never stayed in nicer rental.

Got this last minute and absolutely fabulous experience. Would go back. have been going to Leelanau for years and never thought about staying in town. Quite handy, quiet. Easily sleeps 8 and up to 10 or 11. Great selection of movies, novels, Roku and Apple TV. Did have to wash front windows. Some got carried away with yard sprinkler. Very bright cheery place. 5 blocks from beach and couple blocks from all the downtown shops in Leland and in the close to vineyards, artists shops, bike trails, great restaurants, Manitou Passage golf, Sleeping Bear National Seashore. Owners quite friendly and accommodating.

Pearl cottage is the best!

I’m a life long summer resident of Leland and happen to know the owners of this incredible property. This was the first time I’d been in and cannot rate it high enough—EVERYTHING you need for a great vacation is provided. The house is spotless and the location is without peer—-a block to center of town, 2 or 3 blocks to the lakes and to the river. What a great property!

Charming house in the heart of Leland

Pearl House is charmingly decorated and located within easy walking distance of everything in the Lake Michigan tourist town of Leland, MI. The house was clean and well-equipped and worked well for our party of 6 adults and 2 toddlers. There are plenty of spaces for relaxing both in and out of the house, from a sun porch (very warm when the sun shines) to a comfortable living room, to a welcoming family room that includes a game/card table for the grownups and a small table perfectly sized for our granddaughters. Outside, there are numerous Adirondack chairs for gathering in fine weather. The town of Leland itself is charming with a number of eateries, though a few of them were already closed for the season in early October, galleries (ceramics and pottery seem to be big in the area), and other touristy shops. We particularly enjoyed watching enormous King salmon leaping several feet out of the water trying to jump the dam on the Leelanau River from the wharf in Fishtown (the old, historic district down by the harbor). The town was surprisingly popular on Saturday afternoon even in October; it was pleasant to be able to watch the crowds go by from the house after spending the morning down at Sleeping Bear Dunes. (Other highly recommended activities we enjoyed were a bicycle winery tour from a bike shop in Sutton's Bay and a visit to Leelanau State Park at the tip of the Leelanau Peninsula). Overall, it was pricey but very much enjoyed by all our family.

Leland Gem for a Family Vacation Getaway!

Melissa & Bryan's "Pearl" cottage in the heart of Leland is nothing short of a home away from home --- cozy, comfortable and clean! Decor was welcoming, the hosts were incredibly gracious and the even the neighbors were helpful & friendly. Perfect location to take in all that this wonderful area has to offer (Fishtown, hiking, biking, golf, farm-to-table dining, vineyards, beaches, shopping). We're already dreaming about our return.

Please come back to stay again. There are rare guests who put on the rubber gloves and clean the grill (so sorry this was missed by our stellar cleaning crew) after they arrive. We cannot thank you enough for the help and graciousness.

Terrific week in Leland

We had a great week exploring Leland and the surrounding areas. The house was in a perfect location (very close walk into town, to the beaches, etc). Beautiful house that was very clean. Definitely recommend it!

Fantastic location in Fishtown!

Another fantastic week in Fishtown at The Pearl! What a unique house with rich history and beautifully cared for. Walkable to everything in Leland. Already can't wait to go back!

A beauitful retreat in this lovely area of Michigan!

The Pearl House is a beautiful and private home right in the heart of Leland. This home is truly a home away from home gem. It has a warm and welcoming feel to it as soon as you step inside. The owners have done a wonderful job of creating a home that offers all travelers a place to rest, enjoy and create a lifetime of family memories. It’s large enough to accommodate more than one family with children or could be a lovely retreat for a couple who wants to be tucked away in a private place all their own. It’s super clean, very comfortable and there’s plenty of rooms and space for everyone to enjoy. There’s even a lovely front porch to sit out on and enjoy your morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine from a local winery. I would highly recommend this place as a great home base for exploring Leland and the surrounding areas of Traverse City. The beauty of up north Michigan is all within driving distance from this beautiful home. A must place to stay if you’re visiting in the area!

Heart of Leland!

Our visit was spectacular! The cottage is spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The Kitchen was well equipped, easy to work in and handled our large group well. The location is wonderful just a block from town. Our kids walked to the ice cream store and restaurants and shopping just a short walk away. There was always something to do for everyone. The beach is closeby & hiking, kayaking and sailing was wonderful. The freshness of the Michigan woods still fills my memory. The sunsets are incredible, we didn't miss a one! The Pearl House exceeded our expectaions, everyone loved it! We are looking forward to our next visit!

Location Location Location

Terrific stay in a charming, clean and comfortable home! Stayed 5 nights for vacation and to attend a local wedding. The size and layout of the home are wonderful for guests of all ages. We had 6 adults in the property and there was room to spare. The spacious rooms and large dining table were very comfortable. The home is private yet near town. The location is ideal for walks to Fishtown, the many beaches, restaurants and fun shopping. It is close to all the joys of Leland. This home exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to go back and stay longer! We highly recommend!

Quality Home!

We are repeat guests at the Pearl House and look forward to our annual summer visit. The quality of the home makes our time memorable and the owners continue to invest in upgrades as they consider this their second home. This is not a typical rental. I hesitated to right a review as I want to keep this gem to ourselves. Fortunately, the owners give first right each year to return renters. Therefore it's hard to find available weeks during July and August.
