Dette luksuriøse lufthavn med luksuriøse omgivelser har alt inden for gåafstand: privat strand, butikker, restauranter, udendørs koncerter, minigolf, stier og haver. Saml din gruppe, men har stadig privatliv med tilstødende opholdsrum. Disse to huse (kan også lejes separat i skuldersæsonen, se Homeaway ID 3953752) på en privat hektar stor jord er blevet totalrenoveret. De er en blanding af Old Cape Cod-charme og moderne bekvemmeligheder: Trægulve, katedrallofter, nye apparater, badeværelser, køkkener, møbler, elektronik, strøelse og haver.

Det er en 2-3 minutters gang til:

1) Vores private havstrand med vand, der bliver over 70F om sommeren. Rul strandkurven (medfølger) ned ad stien og højre mod sandet.

2) Den maleriske og altid hoppende Popponesset markedsplads for shopping, mad, minigolf, børns aktiviteter og live udendørs musik. Dans med familien under stjernerne hele natten på markedspladsen for at leve udendørs musik om natten (tors-søn).

3) Den smukke Popponesset Inn til direkte spisning ved havnen til frokost eller middag.

Andre meget tætte attraktioner:

Den smukke New Seabury cykel / vandresti er lige uden for din dør. Det snor sig gennem frodigt landskab forbi haver, skove, golfbaner og utrolige havudsigter. Hvis du ønsker at udforske videre, skal du tage en afslappet cykeltur til Martha's Vineyard (35 min) færger!

Girls weekend on the cape

The propert was perfect for a laid back girls weekend. Lots of space for everyone to sleep comfortably, close to the beach and market, and clean!

Very well maintained properties. The large one is extremely spacious! The smaller one is quaint and perfect for a small family with kids. Highly recommend.

Great place for family vacation

We rented both 8 & 10 Wharf and had a large family gathering for a graduation celebration. It was just as advertised and Don is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Nice walking paths and a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the supply of paper goods and hand soap, etc. Washer and dryer available so don't overpack! Plenty of restaurants a short drive away.

BEAUTIFUL! Fantastic family vacation.

Fantastic family vacation and many memories to bring home! We were looking for something that could suit 17 of us and these two properties combined couldn't have been more perfect! Both property are clean, adorably decorated and full of everything you may need! A VERY short walk to the private beach was fantastic for coordinating nap times and down times as each family needed it. Biking and walking trails for all to enjoy and the downtown market with live music most nights is just a two minute walk away. Great for ice cream for the kids, mini golf, the most amazing lobster roll at the local restaurant. Golfing is also two minutes away but we did not play as we were just having too much fun relaxing on the beach. Don, the property owner was MORE than helpful prior to and during our stay, extremely responsive and helpful for anything needed. I would highly recommend this vacation to anyone! Thank you Don for a wonderful trip!

Great for families!

I stayed with my extended family in both cottages for a week. 7 adults and 5 kids (ages 1.5-9 years old) fit easily and comfortably in the houses. The rental process was extremely easy. It was reassuring to be in contact with the direct owner, who was patient and willing to answer all of our questions ahead of time. Each house has 3 bedrooms off the living quarters - one larger with a single big bed, and two smaller with two twin beds. The larger house also has a gigantic master suite with king sized bed, en suite bath, and a loft with tons of additional sleeping space, if needed. Both houses are bright and cheerfully decorated, but not so much that you can't easily make it feel like your own home away from home. The Popponessett marketplace is a 5 minute walk along a wooded trail - one part of a larger trail system that is great for getting a long walk in. The marketplace has everything you'd want - gift stores, ice cream, mini golf, restaurant/wine bar - just enough to be a fun place to go, but not over developed. The trail to the marketplace goes right past the property, so during "rush hour" you can hear people chatter, but it was always quiet by a reasonable time. Actually, the houses are probably the two most private places in Maushop Village (a private beach community on the edge of a golf course). There is a large flat lawn, which is awesome for the kids to run around. It was really easy to entertain - with the two grills and lots of seating. The beach is amazing for kids. It is a 5 minute walk, mostly on a paved path. The sand is soft, and there are enough shells to gather to keep the little ones interested (although not the biggest variety of shells). The water was so warm - probably close to 80 degrees. There are a few rocky patches, but once you get out a way it's completely sandy. The waves are easy to manage - not very high. You can stand in the water pretty far from shore. We definitely needed beach umbrellas (we used one from each house, provided with the rental) and we were happy we had brought our own beach tent - the sun is bright and there is little shade. The kids had a great time digging a giant hole and building sand castles. Between the houses, the proximity to the market and the beach - and the wonderful quality of both - we can't recommend this place enough. We hope to come back soon!

Perfect in every way!

Rented both houses while celebrating the wedding of our youngest son. Both houses are well stocked with beach equipment and all the amenities we expect. Don the owner was a pleasure to work with and Bob the property manager was also super. If you have a large group and want to spend time at the Cape then this is the place for you! Perfect in every way!

Great experience right on the beach

This property was amazing for the size group we had (8), although could easily have handled up to 6 more. It was a very convenient 5 minute walk to the beach, and the quaint downtown within New Seabury had really good food and drinks within a 3 minute walk. There was a grocery store about 10 minutes away for when we wanted to prepare our own meals in the kitchen, and there was a convenience store within walking distance for the small items we didn't want to travel far for. The owners are very responsive and have stocked the house with pretty.much anything you'd need. There were even beach chairs we could bring to the beach, umbrellas, games for the house. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

Cape Cod Family Trip

We recently stayed at 8 and 10 Wharf Ave and I just want to say that the properties were immaculate. We had 14 people for a family vacation to Cape Cod and the two houses were perfect. A large lot with plenty of parking, a short walk to the beach and a short walk to the Popponesset marketplace. The one minor issue we had (a smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night) was handled by both the owner and the local property manager quickly and with no fuss. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to any large group. My wife and I hated to leave.

Great location for a family reunion

My family had a great 4th of July week at these houses! There is a great yard space for hanging out and playing games. It’s a 3 minute walk to a private beach and the marketplace. When the internet went down it was repaired within hours. There are many beach accessories for use so we did not have to bring as much of our own. I would highly recommend renting these houses!

Great Family Reunion

17 of us gathered in the two side-by-side cottages last week. Everything was wonderful. Will gladly return as soon as we can.

Remember, next time consider our 6BR, HomeAway 4427145 as well - it sleeps 16 and is very close by to these 2 homes. Hope to see you in the Fall when we rent these homes separately, have deep discounts, and allow shorter stays...but the crowds are gone and water is still warm! Talk soon!

Updated beautiful house

We loved staying at this house. We had a big family group which occupied each of the six bedrooms, however never felt crowded thanks to the open kitchen (with big table!) and living room. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet, which worked out well for the 5 kids under 4 years old that were in our group. There was also plenty of space to put pack n plays in each bedroom. It was a perfect house for us!

Awesome Location

Ample room to spread out. Houses were beautiful and lots of linens/towels to go around. Super short walk to the beach and Bob's cafe (at the marketplace). The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Property manager also came by to make sure everything was good, even though we had not contacted him. Short drive to Mashpee Commons for restaurants, grocery store, etc. I would suggest better WiFi as many of us got kicked off randomly and required router reset and also a couple more double beds.

Thanks Aurelie! Glad you loved the homes and the location. Yes, our property manager Bob likes to be available to make sure everything is great with your stay. I wish I'd known about the WIFI - I could have helped. It's top of the line, 2018 equipment with the upgraded (not the standard) Comcast Cable. There is a separate WIFI network in each house. They are each strong enough so that you can connect to the one next door, though it's much better range if you connect to the house you are in. That being said, I will have it all checked out. As for the beds, we find that our guests generally appreciate the flexibility of twins vs. full beds, plus each person gets more sleeping room. Sometimes people will slide twins together to form a quasi-King. Hope to see you back next year!

Fantastic!

Absolutely wonderful ! We had a family reunion and there was plenty of room to socialize as a whole or in smaller groups. I parked my car for the week and walked a short distance to the private beach or to the shops and restaurants at the Marketplace. Most of the bedrooms are on one level so the cottages are convenient for all ages. They are bright and clean - just bring your suitcase and sunscreen! Very nice property

Vacation was great. The owner, Don was very easy to work with. We initially had issues with the TV and internet, but he was available to troubleshoot and correct the problem. May need a booster to strengthen the internet. My suggestion is to not list the one loft area above MBR as a sleep 4. There are 4 twin beds but very small room and it couldn’t be cooled down to a reasonable temperature. Other than that I would rent this property again.

Thanks, Bill. I really enjoyed having your family and look forward to having you all back next year. You were a real pleasure as guests. I appreciate your great feedback and will investigate both of these issues immediately. I only wish I had known about the loft temperature when you were there - I would have had it remedied while there. It sounds like we just need to change the flow baffles from the Central AC to allow more air to the loft. As you know, we just completed a major renovation and the loft is more self-contained than it was prior. In terms of the TV and WiFi, when you'd checked in, I had just been there the week prior and everything was perfect, except for some power surges in the area that kept resetting the electronics (the resets would take as much as 10 minutes to come back online) .My guess is that either you were getting resets like I was OR you were connecting to the the our house next door (you can pickup both signals in both homes, but one is stronger than the other obviously). There have been no issues since, to my knowledge. Just for the readers here, we pay extra for the upgraded Comcast cable Internet, and both houses have their own wireless router and network ID. The cable boxes, modem and router equipment are 2018-vintage and were professionally installed this May. We have a top-of -the-line Netgear Nighthawk WIFI extender. The system is designed to allow for several devices concurrently, to allow for web surfing, gaming and movie streaming. The WiFi design and products are about as good as they get.

Spacious, clean and well located

We had great time during our stay at the house. It accommodated all our five adults and eight children easily. Plenty of rooms. Nicely located close the beach, only few minutes’ walk. The Mashpee common is close by for shopping, dinner or ice cream. Don was very helpful and quick to response anytime we had a question and trying to figure out something. Will definitely consider going back again to this house if the opportunity present itself in the future..

Easy and carefree Multi- Generation retreat

Totally enjoyed our large family vacation at this property. There were 18 of us, ranging in age from 11 months to 84. Enough space for everyone to congregate together and eat together, and not feel on top of each other - at all. Totally casual and comfortable homes -- with air conditioners that worked perfectly. Easy to walk to the Beach and the Village, and the Poppy Inn is also a 4 minute walk away. We literally barbequed 6 nights - and the grill is right off the kitchen. The homes are well stocked and easy to work in. And the living room/dining area of the main house worked for all to sit and eat together. Finally, the owner and the property manager were both super helpful and made sure our entire group enjoyed the stay. Thanks again

We'll be back for sure

We were not aware of how awesome this area is but we found out fast. It is in such a perfect location in a really upscale town and neighborhood. The houses are in great shape. They had both been updated recently and had mostly new furniture as well. Having 2 houses gave us so much flexibility and it was nice to have a bit of privacy at times. The beach was beautiful, quiet and the water was still warm in early September. The owner and his crew were very helpful and easy to deal with. There is so much to see and do. Walk/bike paths, kayak rentals etc. Restaurants in town are to die for. Thanks for the recommendation to Soprano's - best Italian ever! We took an easy day trip to Marthas Vineyard, which we loved. This vacation could not have been much better and we will return.

A vacation spot where great memories were made!

We rented in June 2017 for a 24 person family reunion. We really enjoyed the homes. They are in great condition and this location on Cape Cod was excellent. A really nice private beach and the marketplace was just a 2-3 minute walk from the houses. The marketplace is great with mini-golf, music, food, ice cream. bike and kayak rentals and cool shops - great for all ages. The beach was sandy. not crowded and great for our 1 year old - 85 year old great grandmom. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrella and carts at the house. There was plenty of space for the whole family-inside and outside. The homes were rebuilt as of recently so they have all the modern conveniences including Central AC. In the town center, We enjoyed the large back yard and outside tables and chairs. We actually had a big barbeque right on the property. We loved the Popponesset Inn just a short walk away and the excellent dining. The memories that were made here will never be forgoten - it was our best location and that says a lot because we are picky neat freaks. We are already booked to go back!

What a fantastic location for large families!

The close proximity of the two houses made it possible for us to get together with our whole family. We had lots of fun outdoor dinners and sports activities on the large property as well as memorable times and meals at the Poppanesset complex right up the path!
