Hidden Gem in White Mtn: Pet Friendly and close to Hiking and ATV trails

Being nestled in the beautiful White Mountains of Warren, seasonal outdoor insects and cluster flies can occasionally be part of the rural environment, especially around outdoor lighting during late summer and early fall evenings. I would like to address your points directly to set the record straight for future guests: Dining Options: As stated in our listing description, local restaurants close on Mondays and Tuesdays. That said, your claim that there are only two restaurants within 45 minutes is completely false—more than 80 restaurants, bars, cafes, and breweries in nearby Plymouth, Lincoln, Woodstock, Haverhill, and Bradford, VT operate 7 days a week and are within a 30- to 40-minute drive. Bathroom Sink: Thank you for letting us know about the drain. A plumber has already been scheduled to resolve this immediately. Sorry about this. Dryer: It's very unusual for a dryer to take two hours to dry a few small items. Our cleaners and past guests never complained. You should have used the village laundromat instead of waiting 2 hours for your garments. But again, we are inspecting the unit to make sure it is running properly. Location & Highway: Our house is right on Route 25, which provides great access to the area. Truck traffic delivers essential goods to our rural communities every day, and we do not hide our location. (Again, pls pls google and research the area before booking any places) Local Market: Appleknockers General Store is a 2-minute drive or a 16-minute walk from the house—not 40 minutes away as you mentioned in the review. It is a great local spot for quick necessities. Property Condition: Calling our home a "ramshackle dwelling" is completely unfair. This is a beloved family property where my kids and countless past guests have created wonderful memories. It may not be a multi-million-dollar luxury mansion, but it is our home, and we take great pride in it.
