Relax with your whole family/friends and pets at this peaceful 3 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms home near the Chesapeake Bay! Updated, clean and comfortable. Sleeps 8 with room to spread for gathering & relaxing. Unwind, relax & recharge! Bring your boat-Smith Point Marina is 1.7 mi away; The Gateway to the Chesapeake Bay! Bring your paddleboard & kayak - easy access to put in the Little Wicomico River close to house. Perfect for staycation, workcation, family vacation, fishing trips, girlfriends getaway or work at home with the high speed internet. Peaceful! BEDROOMS:The bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds, pillows and blankets. The beds all have 100% cotton linens with 100% cotton comforter with cotton duvet. The Master Suite upstairs is equipped with a full bathroom, coffee & tea bar as well as a trundle bed with two twins and plenty of space.

BATHROOMS: 100% cotton towels are provided as well.

FLOORS: Hardwood floors throughout the house except in one room upstairs.

AIR CONDITIONING / HEAT: Central A/C and heat along with two split units for extra comfort; one upstairs in the Master Bedroom and one in the kitchen. NOTE: Please do not use the wood-burning fireplace.

ENTERTAINMENT: Board games and books are provided for your enjoyment. There is also cable tv on two smart TVs with apps for you to use with your own login credentials.

KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking ware, plates, utensils, baking sheets, bowls, casserole dishes, an Instant Pot, and large pots for steaming crabs.

Guests may also use the bicycles in the shed, and the extra space in the garage for storage during their stay.

This home is peaceful. Enjoy the serenity of Reelin' & Relaxin' during your stay. The house is perfect for two families, big families or a friends gathering.

Guest access
Parking is off street on the big gravel driveway. There is plenty of room for your boat or even two boats. You can walk or bike around the neighborhood and down to the ferry on the Little Wicomico River. A car is necessary to explore all that the Northern Neck of Virginia has to offer!

The access to the front door will be via a smart lock so you'll receive a code after the reservation is made and on the day of check in.

Great Stay!!

Even though we could only stay one night, we thoroughly enjoyed our time. So much detail to everything, games for kids, cleanliness, coffee for adults, its own little bird sanctuary out back with hummingbirds. The patriotic theme throughout was my favorite. I hope to go back and spend more time. Thanks Karen

Excellent stay!

We stayed while visiting for a family member graduation. The property was wonderful; the kitchen was well supplied and the little ones loved the games! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive with any questions I had. We plan on staying here again the next time we are in town!

Perfect for Family Togetherness

This spot is thoughtfully put together for family fun. The kitchen is excellently equipped with all you need to host a great gathering and the arrangement of the house (kitchen, living, dining rooms) is ideal for bringing people together for fun times. The home was clean and cared for and the host was nicely communicative. Truly ideal!

Enjoy Quite Comfort

We loved this cute house. It was modernly decorated, had everything we needed and then some. We loved the quite of the country, but not really in country! and close to the marina we were heading for the next day. Reelin' and Relaxin' is very fitting name for the house and the area. Our only concern was house is not on a heavy traffic road, but cars zipped by quite fast for a dead end road.

Nice long weekend

We enjoyed staying at this property. A fence for dogs would be a nice addition. Host was very responsive and house is very tastefully decorated.

Pure relaxation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was so comfortable and relaxing. Everything was well-stocked and spotlessly clean. We loved sitting on the front porch watching the deer play in the field across the street. It was a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

A Great Coastal Cottage

Perfect decompression

The home is not overly large nor small. Felt really comfortable and cvery clean. Super quiet. Not a sound but ocassional passing vehicles. The breeze on the porch was phenomenal during the entire stay. Had plans to fish, crab, wine & dine. Decided to stay on the property and simply decompress from the city life.

Perfect Roadtrip Getaway

We had been traveling back from Outer banks, stopped at Virginia beach and were working our way back north. We had been traveling all day and we pulled up to a beautifully lit up house. It was full of charm and joy. Little detailed touches everywhere. Home meets hotel meets country living. My family and I especially loved the trees in the front of the house, the wrap around porch and that there was a ferry ride just down the street! Even though we weren't there even a full 24 hours we greatly appreciated our stay and would be blessed to be able to stay again. Lots of blankets and sheets. A vast variety of morning pick me up drinks. And great views of the Little Wicomico River! I have four children and it's not always easy to keep them occupied(no electronics road trip) but I know if we are ever are in the area again and get to stay again, they will have more than enough to keep them busy between all the board games and adventures that await right outside the door. It really was such a relaxing atmosphere!

Super cute house

Rented for an overnight stay for a fishing trip for my husband and his brother and father had booked. Perfect location, just down the road from the departure marina. House was super cute! So much so we're planning to book again for a longer stay with our kiddos in the near future!

Perfect stay for a Reedville fishing trip

Peaceful and relaxing

We decided to take a last minute vacation and had no set destination in mind and it needed to be pet friendly. The house was as advertised, an adorable clean three bedroom farmhouse. Karen was very responsive and a kind host. We enjoyed our quiet time away. Reedsville is a very small, quaint town and most things are only open Thursday through Sunday. Karen provides brochures and suggestions for places to visit. We spent our days relaxing and visiting neighboring towns along with taking the ferry to Tangier Island (make sure to add this to your list of things to do). If you are looking for a vacation that has a lot of touristy things this may not be the place for you HOWEVER, if you want a place to relax and fish and take in nature and explore then you will definitely ENJOY this adorable farmhouse. We enjoyed our visit to the north neck and hope to visit again soon.

Perfect backdrop for a relaxing family vacation!

The property was beautiful, well maintained, and homey. It was the perfect layout for two families traveling together with kids. Our children made memories that will last a lifetime! My personal favorite was catching fireflies every evening. The restaurant recommendations from the host were excellent! And she is very communicative. We greatly appreciated the well stocked coffee bars!

Amazing

This place was absolutely amazing! Very nice back yard that we relaxed in for hours enjoying the quiet. To say the cleanliness of this property was a 5 is a massive understatement! EVERYTHING in this house was SPOTLESS! Very beautiful! We will definitely be back for another stay every time we get a chance.

I was born and raised in Northern Virginia & fell in love with the Northern Neck about 25 years ago. We have raised our kids with family weekends spent at my husband's family cottage in the Northern Neck. This area has so much to offer and explore; water activities, crabbing, fishing, paddleboarding & kayaking, small towns to visit, State Parks, wineries, local seafood, antiquing, gorgeous sunsets and much peace and tranquility!

This single family home that we call "Reelin' & Relaxin' " may not be on the water with a water view but it is located super close to Smith Point Marina and the Little Wicomico River, and of course - the Chesapeake Bay! The house itself sits on a half acre lot and is surrounded by a farm behind and in front of it. It is truly so peaceful and relaxing. The Town of Reedville is minutes away; restaurants with fresh local seafood and close to the Tangier Cruise for a day's trip to Tangier Island!
This home is suitable for families, fishermen, remote working, short and long term stays. We allow dogs in our house but ask our guests to please clean up after your dog(s) and they must remain on a leash when outside.

This home is spacious with gorgeous hardwood floors, large dining room that seats 8 and a lovely farmhouse kitchen with a coffee & tea bar. We fell in love with the large front sitting porch and the breezes that accompany it.
The upstairs Master Suite is so roomy and quiet, and also has its own coffee and tea bar for those relaxing mornings.
Quiet country setting; easy place to walk or bike around. The property is located just 1.7 miles to the Smith Point Marina which provides easy access to the Chesapeake Bay. The Smith Point Marina has a marine store, pontoon boat rentals, paddleboard & kayak rentals, electric car charging station and multiple Charter Boats to take you out fishing into the Chesapeake Bay. The property has a large driveway to accommodate a boat or two, & guests can use the hose to spray boat or water toys after time on the water.
