This 1 1/2 story full-log cabin boasts one bedroom and bath on the main floor plus a loft/bunk room that sleeps 8.

Full kitchen, full bath with shower, dining area, and comfy living room with a cozy wood stove make this a great place to get away.

The outdoor space is amazing! Outdoor dining, double swing along the river, fire pit with Adirondack chairs, dock, huge porch for reading or just listening to the river flow along the rocks…I could go on but what I love most is the peace that washes over me when I come down the driveway and see/hear the river.

Solar powered electric, gas lighting and cooking, with hundreds of miles of ATV trails to explore. Or, maybe fishing is more your style. Brown and Brook trout and large mouth bass are waiting to be served for dinner. However you relax, you can be sure it is possible here!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a cabin nestled along the picturesque Peshtigo River, and I can't express enough how truly delightful the experience was. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable getaway that left me rejuvenated and inspired. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the serene beauty of the surroundings. The cabin itself was charming, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities one could need. The interior decor perfectly blended rustic charm with modern convenience, creating an ambiance that was both inviting and cozy. The highlight of the cabin undoubtedly was its location right by the Peshtigo River. Waking up to the soothing sound of the river's gentle flow and enjoying my morning coffee on the private deck while taking in the stunning views became a daily ritual. The family enjoyed hiking along the well-maintained trails, and my kids enjoyed catching crawfish. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or a solo retreat to recharge, this cabin on the Peshtigo River offers an unparalleled experience. I left with a heart full of gratitude and a promise to return someday soon. If you're looking for a place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and create cherished memories, look no further – this cabin is an absolute gem.

Dan and I purchased this cabin in 2021 and have thoughtfully furnished and updated it with comfort, privacy, and the ability to truly experience what being in nature is all about. We thought about our guests as we updated without losing any of the remote quaintness of a cozy cabin.

We believe this cabin will be a unique experience. For many, imagining life before 24/7 connectivity, staying here will allow guests to enjoy each other, a good book, or the majestic summer sky with only the sounds of the river to interrupt them. There are numerous parks and waterfalls to explore, lakes, as well as cute little towns and festivals. The International off-road championship races each Labor Day weekend are an example of local attractions, but just as cool is the logging museum with an antique train that takes visitors to the museum in the distance. Native American traditions abound here as well. Pow Wows, exhibits, and cultural centers are just a short drive from the cabin. There are two casinos, a local youth water ski team to watch, and of course you can find other things to do too.

The cabin and its adjacent 23 acres of unspoiled forest that is all yours during your stay. There are a few neighbors, but you will likely get a greeting and then be on your own. Turtles put on a show mid-summer as they dig their nests and lay their eggs. The river is a great place to fish early in the season and late summer. Between high times of the river, it is a great place to float (tie yourself to the dock), wade, or let the kids catch mini-fish (our grandchildren love this).
