Rob, We are very shocked to receive such a negative review from you, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to publicly respond to your concerns. • BEDROOM: The third bedroom is exactly how it appears in the photos and description- a queen bed and a bunk bed, with a dresser and a bench. To say it is “very impractical for anyone to use” is a very exaggerated negative opinion. • BATHROOM: This is a 4-bedroom, single-story house with a total of 5 showers (including the mudroom), 4 toilets, and 7 wash basins in 6 separate bathrooms (not including the mud room). There is a combination of en suite bathrooms and individual toilet and shower rooms that accommodate a large group much more conveniently in our minds. (No need to wait to use a toilet because someone else is using the shower, or vice versa!) It's all clearly laid out in our photos and descriptions. It is hard to believe this isn’t enough bathroom facilities for this size of house. • AIR CONDITIONING: The panoramic views are a part of what makes this home so unique and we’ve never felt a need to block them with shades in the living room. There are screened windows and doors in every room that can be opened to allow that beautiful beach cross breeze to cool down the home quickly if it were to be needed. But the temp at the beach ranged from 41- 72 degrees during your ten days there, with only two days actually getting above 70 degrees--- it’s hard for us to imagine why you would have felt the need for air conditioning and how the temps would have “climbed like crazy an hour before sunset.” • SUPPLIES: The house is fully equipped with toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, cleaning supplies, clothes washing supplies, dish washing supplies, plastic wrap, foil, zip locks, trash bags, extra towels in bathrooms and kitchens, and a starter pack of Keurig coffee pods. When COVID hit, out of concern for the safety and wellbeing of our guests, we decided to stop providing things like oil and spices (I assume this is what you are criticizing us for not providing?). We don’t market a Welcome Basket so are not sure why you would speak negatively about us for not providing you with one. • MATTRESS: We have never received a negative review of our mattresses across all of the booking platforms that we use. • RECLINERS: We do already have two in the home! One in the living room and one in the bunk room. We are disappointed that you didn’t thoroughly enjoy your stay, and are just as disappointed that your negative view of the home seems to be based on unfounded expectations, an incorrect assumption of the layout, and missed details. We consistently get 5-star reviews across all booking platforms and are proud to provide an exclusive luxury experience for our guests.

Renata, thank you so much for your review! I really appreciate your kind words about our home and am so thankful that you enjoyed the quiet nature of our neighborhood and beach! I enjoyed interacting with you too. I apologize again that the beach bikes were not available for your use! We made this change because our guests' safety is of utmost importance to us and we realized that with the salt and sand we aren't able to keep them in the top-notch condition that we would like to,,, but I do apologize again for my oversight in removing the mention of them from our listing. Hopefully your group was able to take the $200 refund I gave you to enjoy another fun beach activity! I believe the broken items you referred to in this review were the two things we talked about during your stay- one of the three dishwasher drawers having an error message on it and you needing to light the BBQ manually. I know you declined my offer to walk you through what the error code might be indicating, saying you could use the other dishwasher drawers. The code was there because the spinner in the bottom of the dishwasher drawer had gotten slightly bumped off kilter- nothing was broken, it simply needed to be placed back on its base. :) And I do apologize for the extra work in needing to light the BBQ manually instead of using the igniter knob! I trust these two things weren't a huge distraction from your stay and am so happy to hear that you had a wonderful time! Thanks again! Lara
