Cannon Beach with Ocean Views, Dream Kitchen Made for Sharing, Spacious Deck, and Dogs Welcome

Hi Kathy We are so sorry that the water was turned off unexpectedly by the city on the morning of your departure. They are still completing a large water line replacement in the city and this was a surprise to all of us. We appreciate your understanding. Shannon

Hi Rashelle We love hearing from our guests! Anchor’s Retreat truly offers wonderful space for groups, and I agree—the mudroom is definitely a great bonus. The views are one of the things that really make this home stand apart, along with the exceptional privacy created by its location surrounded by open space and trees. Our Guest Basket is a small gift from us, and I’m so glad you were able to enjoy the freshly ground coffee and coffee pods. We find that many of our guests haven’t yet had time to stock the kitchen when they arrive, so we hope this amenity helps everyone get their day started a little easier. We hope to welcome you back again in the future! Shannon Haystack Luxury Vacation Rentals

Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re thrilled to hear you found the home spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, and that your group enjoyed a wonderful stay together. The home’s location on a gentle hilltop is what gives it those stunning views our guests rave about—truly “views for days.” From there it’s just a short stroll to the beach, where you can enjoy all that Cannon Beach has to offer. We’re sorry to hear that a few in your group found the walk a bit challenging, but we hope the sweeping views and serene setting made the experience even more special. We’re delighted you had such a great time and look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable stay! Shannon

Thank you for detailing your stay and for taking the time to share your concerns with us. We will be sure to address those issues because we strive to ensure our guests always have the most amazing experience. Thanks again, Cecilia!

Thank you for your review! We apologize for the issues with the check-in process. We greatly appreciate your feedback and have made the appropriate adjustments to improve moving forward.

Hi Ellen We’re so happy to hear you had a lovely time! The two dishwashers are definitely a nice bonus, especially when traveling with a larger group. We do provide dishwasher pods for our guests, and if you ever run out during a stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always happy to bring you more. We also provide napkins for your use, so I hope it was simply that they were all used and not that you weren’t able to find them. Thank you again for staying with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back!

Thanks for your recommendation! It was wonderful hosting you, and we are glad you enjoyed your stay!

Please accept my sincere apologies for the unsatisfactory experience at our home. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our guests, but it is clear in this case we fell short of that standard. We are in contact with the owner who does indeed live in the house below, so that our future guests experience a better feeling of privacy. The Wifi has been resolved - CenturyLink had area-wide issues that were not resolved during this guest's stay, and service has now been switched to a different provider. As for the sheets, we have upgraded to luxury quality linens, so I am certain this will not be an issue for our future guests. As our other reviews attest, excellence is what we normally deliver, and we will continue to strive to make every stay memorable and carefree for our guests.

Thanks for the kind words! We are so thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our property. We hope to have you all back soon!

So glad you felt at home here! Hope to host you again shortly!
