Birdie's Bungalow on Fripp - Across from Golf and Ocean - Cards Avail/Golf Cart

I am happy to share my second home with you. You will have the entire place to yourself. We provide a 4-seat golf cart, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella. Amenity cards are available for purchase to Fripp Island Resort, which give you access to golf (you can see the 16th tee box through the window), swimming pools, restaurants on the island, tennis, pickleball and much more. There is also plenty to enjoy without the cards: beach, biking, watching wildlife, etc!

We are sandwiched between the Ocean Point Golf Course and the Ocean! Walk, drive bike or cart around our beautiful neighborhood with gorgeous views and vibrant wildlife. Take a hike on a nearby trail, or hit the beach from one of 30+ beach accesses. Head to the beach club (amenity cards required) for cocktails, food, pool, fitness center, tennis or pickle ball. Or book your tee time on one of two manicured and scenic golf courses. Catch some fresh seafood for dinner, and don’t forget to take the kids to the activity center and make a stop at Hunting Island State Park (pass included). Some facilities are open seasonally on Fripp and Hunting Islands.

We provide a golf cart for cruising the island. There’s plenty of cart parking at the beach access points. You can also get around the island easily by car. Car parking is available at the Marina, Ocean Point GC, the Beach Club, Tennis Club, Wardle Point, Ocean Creek GC, and the shops at Springtide Market. Many people choose to rent bikes for getting around the island, and it’s also a beautiful walk on well-maintained sidewalks and nature trails.

I reserved this property last minute and the owner was fast to respond and very attentive. Great communication, easy check in process, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this property!! We had the best time!!!

Just what we needed

Birdie’s bungalow was exactly as described. You cannot easily walk to beach access, but the golf cart provides an easy scenic ride! The cart was great, but it is a 4 seater. (The house can accommodate up to 8.) The house had everything we needed.

We appreciated renting this home for our beach vacation - it had a well stocked kitchen with coffee maker, tea kettle, pots and pans. It was nice to have some of the necessities, like paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry soap, and shower toiletries available, since there are no nearby grocery stores. The furnishings were comfortable, the puzzles and games were fun for the hot afternoons, and we also felt like it was very clean. One of our favorite perks was the pass to Hunting Island State Park. Sunrises were gorgeous on Porpoise Drive, and the golf cart was useful and fun. We also saw a lot of wildlife - deer and alligator just across the driveway, lots of birds.

Family Vacation

The property was nice. Could use some additional cooking items ( newer pots and pans, needed some plastic storage containers with lids) overall it is a nice place to stay. Golf card is a little old but it was nice to have. The owner is very responsive and quick to answer any request or issues while there. I would recommend and would stay there again.

The bungalow was very nice. Everything was clean, neat and comfortable. The hostess responded quickly to my inquiries. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen was small but manageable. There was very little silverware & what was there was cheap so I would recommend it be replaced and upgraded. The spiral stairs leading to the master bedroom was very tricky and with no handrails it was a detriment to the older guests. Everything else was good and the electric golf cart was definitely a plus. The location was very good and very convenient. We did not use the laundry for our short stay.

Adventures at Fripp

Fripp is a very sporting and scenic island, and that’s what our family enjoys…. Fishing, golfing, wildlife, and nature. We had a great day of catching fish on our charter with Captain George. We enjoyed the golf at Ocean Point. All these amenities were very close to Birdies Bungalow. We were there for two full days of fun. We never really got to the beach, as I think it’s a little far from where we stayed, but had we been there longer, I think we could have figured it out. We thought the beach was around the corner, but it was a beautiful view of the Atlantic.

Awesome home/great location

Our first time visiting Fripp Island and it was AMAZING !! The home was perfect and our host was the best. She answered all our questions and was available if we needed anything. We will definitely return.

Blast at Birdies

My family and I rented this sweet little bungalow on fripp island for a week. The hostess was wonderful and answered every question we had from start to finish! The house was clean and cute and near the ocean. The outside shower was a plus for our sandy children and we loved riding the golf cart around the island.

House was clean but is actually a duplex. Not included in information. Check in and response time from emails supper easy. Pictures of full property (back of house) not included in advertisements. Disappointed with back side of property. No area appropriate for young children to play. Front or back. Steps need repair and area tidied up. Very close to water where 2 alligators were spotted. Very small kitchen but everything else was convenient for our sleeping arrangements.

Returning to Fripp

This was our first visit to Fripp after many years away. Birdie’s Bungalow was a nice place that has been updated and is comfortable. The golf cart was a must and we rented a second one as you do need them to enjoy the beach and island. The owners are easy to work with, very through, friendly and easy to communicate with which is a huge plus. Unfortunately, Fripp Island has changed a great deal, it is showing its age and the common places are in need of a refresh.

Wonderful time!

We loved the location as it was close to the water and near a pond with some gators to check out each day. There was plenty of space for two teen boys and my daughter but I think two separate families would be too tight. The grill was fantastic and we loved the use of the golf cart “stickers”. The owner was super responsive and helpful. Overall the stay was great!

Wonderful property

We loved our stay at Birdies Bungalow. Ingrida was wonderful to work with and keep in frequent contact with us before our stay. She was prompt to answer any questions we had so that we could get the best experience while on Fripp. With 4 children and 4 adults, the house was just the right size. It was clean and provided everything we needed. Morning alligator searches and nighttime golf cart rides were a daily happening. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great house, amazing location

We LOVED this quieter end of the island. The golf course amd ocean right across the street never let us forget that we were enjoying the island life. No traffic, except the deer, dolphins turtles. Easy bike or cart ride to the beach at Ocean Point. The house comes with some chairs and umbrellas to use at the beach. We did take advantage of the provided pass to hunting island as well. The house seems to be recently updated. Very clean and modern look with fun island/beach touches and decor. Internet was super fast. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen looked well stocked. It was a roomy and comfortable space for our extended family for the weekend. Highly recommend!

Birdies bungalow was great!

The bungalow was stocked with everything needed plus more. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go again. Highly recommended!
