Cabin Retreat - 90 minutes from Twin Cities

Fabulous 3000 square foot cabin retreat located on North Pipe Lake in Comstock, WI. 4 bedrooms; 2 full baths and 1 half bath. Additional outdoor shower. Plenty of activities: short 9-hold frisbee golf course; ping-pong; billiards; electronic dart board; pop a shot. Plenty of sleeping space.
Level huge yard with pontoon boat available for rental. Huge fire pit.

8 person outside hot tub. Available for rentals- May 15 - June 15 and Sept 7 - Nov 15.

90 minutes from the Twin Cities.

Main level space has an open floor plan, two bedrooms with a connecting master bath. Main floor also features an exercise/yoga room/office and a separate large mudroom connecting to the deck. Downstairs features separate bedrooms, a full bathroom and an open floor plan with a bar area.

Outside features 2.25 acres with level access to North Pipe Lake where a fire pit and seating for all awaits. Also featured is a huge deck with two separate tables and eating areas. Nearby are several large recreational trails for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Trails include Interstate State Park, Knowles State Forest and Straight Lake State Park. North Pipe Lake is nestled between Rice Lake, Balsam Lake and Cumberland which are all within short drives.

The property has one security camera outside viewing the front entry and drive area.

This is our third year having our family vacation at this property, and we loved it once again! Tim is an excellent host- responsive and communicative, and the house is just gorgeous! The big open concept allows us to spend a lot of time together cooking, playing games, and doing puzzles. The pontoon boat and kayaks help us explore the lake, and we love swimming off the dock. Can't recommend highly enough!

Property was perfect for our group of 7 adults and 1 baby. Kitchen was well stocked with spices and the one type of pots/pans was loved by all of us- we have all ordered our own.Lots of games to play, quiet lake, and good fishing. We had a few questions for Tim and he always responded promptly.

The cabin is beautiful with plenty of space for the 8 of us. We liked that it's not far from other cabins yet far enough for us to enjoy our privacy.The cabin was very clean with all the amenities to make our stay very comfortable.

This is our second time staying here and we love it! It's gorgeous and clean, has great amenities, and Tim is very responsive and communicative. Our family if 8 enjoys all of the big shared spaces- perfect for our yearly family trip!

Wisconsin Getaway

My family really enjoyed our stay - especially the grandkids. Great place for a long weekend getaway. We took advantage of the great outdoor area - yard games, fire pit, kayaks, and pontoon. Would definitely stay there again.

The home and surroundings are beautiful. My family felt so welcome and comfortable here. The lake is lovely and the fish were biting every day. I would suggest adding the pontoon to your stay. Thank you Tim and family!

Very Nice Property

We had a great time at this property. Both the indoor and outdoor space was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We had good luck fishing from the dock.

Wisconsin Week of Fun

What a wonderful week in this beautiful property. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 young children. Pipe Lake is a clean warm lake with some swimming options. We hope to rent again next year.

A beautiful family reunion

We spent the week enjoying this beautiful spot on the lake and reuniting with family from near and far. Wonderful lake, brand new pontoon, fantastic large deck with plenty of room for 11 of us and wrapping up each evening with a bonfire at the huge firepit. Host was wonderful to work with. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a week with 3 generations ranging from 9 to 79 in age. An amazing time was had by all. The house is neat and tidy, thoughtfully equipped with high quality supplies and the host(Tim) was super responsive to any questions we had. We added on the pontoon boat rental to our stay and had a lot of fun exploring the small lake and big lake. The water was excellent for swimming and all enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board multiple times throughout the week. We caught a variety of fish right off the dock-big and small-and all around the lake too. The fishing was great all around and we caught a lot of them. There was also a plethora of activities to do indoor which we took advantage of on the hotter days and evenings. Every one of us(10 total) would recommend this to all as a great place to get away with a large group. There are enough spaces to get separation when it’s wanted and big enough common spaces when you all want to come together. The lake and other homes are quiet and peaceful. It’s a most excellent place to get some needed R&R. There were a couple of questions initially and Tim responded almost immediately every time. If you like fish fry’s and/or breasted chicken, you’ll want to also visit the County Line Tavern where both are delicious and the old fashioneds are hand made to order.

Great stay

We totally enjoyed our week! The weather was great and we loved hanging out on the deck for meals and later at the fabulous fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. The pontoon was great for our toddler and many caught some fish! Thanks again!

Loved it!

We absolutely loved the house. There were 8 of us (7 adults and 1 14 year old). It was the perfect place. The set up downstairs and outside kept the college kids entertained and busy while we were there. The beds were super comfortable and the house had everything we needed.

Northern lights

Lovely, spacious home with easy access to beautiful North Pipe Lake. Quiet location. Heard loons, Sandhill cranes and more. Fish were abundant. Enjoyed bass, sunfish. Brought our inflatable chariot.

A Wonderful Lake Getaway

The house and lake area were wonderful! Lots of rooms and spaces to hang out in. The house was equipped with plenty kitchen tools and Tim included special touches to make us all feel welcome. We were able to use the kayaks, swim in the lake, have a fire for smores, and lounge on the large deck. The only small issue was there were ants throughout the house, which is understandable so close to nature. I would definitely stay at Tim's again. Thanks for a great house and making our stay special!

This was an excellent property. The host was attentive and answered every question promptly and courteously. The house was large enough for our family of 12. The kitchen was very nice and well stocked with utensils and dishes making meal prep a breeze. The many indoor and yard games,kayaks, disc golf and a spacious fire pit made for a relaxing and fun stay! The lake was nice, we caught enough pan fish from the dock for a couple of meals. We enjoyed watching the mama deer and her twin fawns each morning in the yard. Our grandkids loved their room with it's reading alcove.We all had a great time. We highly recommend!!

A Week on the Lake

There were 10 of us who stayed at the lake. Our ages ranged from 6 - 74. There was plenty of space for sleeping. There is a large deck which we used every day. There are a lot of trees and lots of privacy. The property is on a quiet lake which was very nice for using kayaks and paddleboards. We used the pontoon every day. There is a large fire pit area. Both the outdoor space and indoor space more than served our needs.

Nice Getaway

The location of this property was perfect, peaceful and secluded. We brought our own boat and pretty much had the entire lake to ourselves during the week. The size and layout was amazing for accommodating 11 of us. The first couple days were a little stressful but not anyones fault. The owner was very responsive and made sure we had what we needed. Everything was super clean and convenient. The kitchen was stocked fairly well. The bedrooms were so big and spacious . The area around the pit was also amazing with the lights and lots of chairs. The deck was also huge and overlooked the lake. Our only complaint about the deck was it is in need of a little work and the tops of some of the nails in the wood were not all the way nailed down. We had a great time and the fishing was great! Caught enough fish to feed 11 people twice as we made fish fry two nights while here. The double ovens were also nice for preparing food for everyone. This is a great property and so beautiful. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks again to the owner for making sure everything was good for us.

This beautiful lake home fit our family perfectly. My husband and me, our daughter, son and their spouses and our 4 grandchildren… 10 of us! Plenty of seating inside or at the 2 tables on the deck. Also 2 nice grills and views of the lake. And, the wildlife! Eagles, heron, loons, deer, many species of butterflies and hummingbirds.Lots of time in the water on floating dock, paddle boarding and kayaks (provided). S’mores around the fire at night. Lots of game & movie nights. I would highly recommend !!! Thank you Velner family!

Wonderful stay

Our extended family stay at this beautiful home was very relaxing and fun for all. Everything was as listed. All necessities provided and very clean. Large enough for all with two living areas as well as space to have quiet, alone time. The property itself is lovely. Quiet, clean lake great for swimming or boating. Private and wooded but room enough to set up badminton or play games. Something for everyone, kids and adults, even on a rainy day.

Family Vacation

We have been taking a family vacation for 16 years. In those years we have added spouses and children. This cabin was all we could have asked for! The cabin itself is beautiful, the backyard and fire area were well enjoyed by all of us as well! In 16 years we have always picked a new place to stay each year, this was the first cabin we have stayed that we are going to try to rebook for next summer. Everything was clean, Tim was great to work with and very easy to get ahold of and the cabin was well stocked for what we needed! The beds were also very comfortable, not something you generally expect at a rental cabin. Thank you for opening your home to our family to enjoy!

This cabin is incredibly beautiful with plenty of activities. Small lake for swimming, kayaking, boating and fishing attached to a larger lake for higher intensity recreation. Open floor plan with tons of light. East facing for sunrises. Huge flat lot with direct access to the lake. Ideally located in wooded setting but yet close to three towns: Cumberland, Rice Lake and Balsam Lake. Close to trails, courses and Turtle Lake Casino.
