My overall impression of the property in one work would be Stunning!! I loved everything about the property but I think my two favorite spots would be the Master suite and the beautiful kitchen. My check-in and out was smooth. The Host was very accommodating. Our family had issues with their rental so we needed to find them another place to stay but my host made it an easy transition to alter my booking to add additional guest. I will definitely be rebooking this property on my next NC visit.

False Advertising

The property is not in good shape and it is certainly not a luxury property. The trash was piled up so high outside of the garage when I first arrived. The sheets on the bed weren’t clean when we arrived. They literally had hair on them. The owner did come by and replace the sheets a number of beds the night we arrived. The WiFi wasn’t working. It was almost like they didn’t know we were coming that day. The outside deck furniture wasn’t what was in the pictures on the ad. It is clear to me that they staged the property to take pictures and then removed certain pieces of furniture.

Good space for multiple people

We had a great time. The only thing is we had a little trouble with the cable but that was resolved the first day we were there. I will say the house looks nicer in the photos. The house is outdated and needs new furniture and maintenance to the home. Our trip was short, but we loved that we got to spent time will our family and that was all that matter.

Terrible maintenance

We arrived to trash cans over flowing ,trash scattered all over the driveway,kitchen floor was sticky with syrup, bathroom door was hard to shut, no towel racks, beds had no top sheets, knob was broken to the shower,no dish rag or sponges ,no soap no cleaning supplies. The house smelt like cat urine and the A/C broke on our last day the host was notified but nothing was accomplished. It was raining outside when a semi pulled up to store something in the basement and we had to go out in the rain and move are cars. The neighbors were friendly and let us use their trash cans because we had to take our trash to the dumpster. There were only 9 towel sets when it’s suppose to accommodate 12, no bedding for coach bed. The host was notified on Tuesday are arrival date and came on Saturday to look at all the issues but nothing was accomplished. Great area, friendly neighbors nice house but badly maintained

Not a luxury rental

I rented this house for graduation 1.5 years ago, when the reviews were good. Since then, the reviews have deteriorated, and with good reason. Things that were OK and accurate. - house is huge. - neighborhood is nice. - things seemed clean on the surface - kitchen appliances were updated. But pretty much everything else was inaccurate and not good. - There isn’t nearly enough furniture for the house, so felt like I was living in a college kid’s house. There are almost no rugs, and the furniture that is there is old and not nice. Sheets were scratchy and stained. - The front door only stays closed if it is locked. There are broken towel hangers, the upstairs toilet hardly flushes, the kitchen dishes are barely adequate and the ones that are there are chipped. -The listing said that every bathroom had “essential toiletries”. There was nothing but toilet paper and a bottle of antibacterial soap - The host was unresponsive. I told him the first day that the dryer didn’t work. It was 3 days until he sent a message saying something meaningless like “the team is reviewing this” and they’d “get back to us”. Which they never did of course. One more anecdote that sums it all up. If you look at past reviews here and elsewhere you will see reports that sheets have bloodstains, there’s filth under the beds, and underwear was found in the backyard. Every one of those issues is simple and inexpensive to fix, yet every single one still existed when we stayed.

Wonderful stay

House was beautiful, clean and great location to high point university for a graduation. Beds were comfortable, everyone had enough room throughout house, beautiful neighborhood and nearby stores and restaurants. Host was informative and readily available. Wonderful stay and we can’t thank you enough.

Needs some attention

Nice neighborhood. House was plenty roomy for our group, however it is really dated. Several places where paint is chipping, doors don't close all the way without a decent push, glasses and bowls had chips in them. The bathrooms are very old and some of the towel hangers are broken off. The house met the need but that's about it, nothing special

Disappointing..

This property is located in a nice neighborhood. The home was built in the 90s, it still looks like the 90s. The home was not cleaned at ALL. I contacted the property manager we communicated, his cleaning team lied stating they came back to return and throughly clean. Which was a 💯 a lie. We left the property for 30min to be extact, & was their reminder of the day. Here are all of my cons: The front door, is old and broken. The property had a very bad insect problem (big black) ants. The furniture is older with stains on all of them. The bathrooms are all old, low pressure toilets. The bathroom upstairs there is black or rust stains on the ceiling. Poor lighting throughout the house, only 2 televisions are in the property. All the beds are hard, mattress sliding off, and broken. I have spoken with the property manager/owner about my concerns immediately, this should not be a surprise of my review. Honestly, the host was quick in responding, unfortunately he has not truly invested in this property. I know it’s an investment, especially since my family and I are from Kernersville, we moved away several years. I know the neighborhood very well. I advise and caution you, book at your own risk.

This house is in a beautiful neighborhood. The house is large and clean. We had plenty of space for everyone . This is not a criticism, but an observation...the driveway is very steep and there are lots of stairs from a steep driveway to get to the front door and to upper bedrooms. Just to be aware of that if you have any older people with you or people who may not be steady on their feet. The deck on the back is a nice retreat, but the furniture was dirty from weather and tired. The deck is in need of sanding/restaining or painting. It is not as inviting or comfortable as it could be. We brought chairs out from inside to sit and enjoy the space. Same with the railing to front door and front door. They need some maintenance for the wood decking front and back and the front door. The house met all of our needs, but it did not feel like a "luxury property". Again, the neighborhood is beautiful and the price was great. Also, the host was EXTREMELY attentive. We were in need of an ironing board and the one on site was broken. I messaged them when I went to bed at about 10:30 at night and one was delivered the next morning. How many guests need an ironing board? Probably none and that is why he probably did not realize it was broken. Overall we had a great experience. Just extra details for the next guest. For the price and location it was a great place to stay for larger family. Thank you to the host for a wonderful stay!

Our two day stay

The house was nice. No real problems with the house. We encountered few minor items - could not get the dishwasher to work and would have appreciated if sugar was available. Great coffee maker but no sugar for the coffee. Lastly, we couldn't find linens for the pull-out sofa. Quiet neighborhood and plenty of parking.

The house overview

When we got to the house the front door was unlocked. I couldn't connect to the Wifi. While sitting in the living room where the TV was the door opened all by itself. I think that the lock needs to be changed. We put a chair under the knob to secure it. Gunshots rang out at 4:30 AM which made me very nervous.

This house is huge and perfect for large families or even entire sports teams! The driveway is very large and can accommodate 5-6 cars comfortably. The primary bedroom and living room both have large smart tv's for streaming your favorite shows! This house is also in a prime location in a very nice neighborhood. You will love every minute spent on the beautiful back porch drinking your morning coffee or listening to the birds chirping! Be our guest and come see why this is a favorite among all of our homes!
