We had the MOST AMAZING stay here. Wish we could have stayed longer! The host makes everything very easy, and left us a few surprise gifts which were wonderful. It is immaculate - never been to a more organized and clean VRBO in my life. Incredible location, views, and comfy home.

Great spot

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great for exploring the volcanoes, Mauna Kea, and just relaxing. We saw spinner dolphins right from the cliffs at the house! Would stay again!

Great location near Volcano National Park

Chase and Allison were exceptional hosts and we appreciated their hospitality! Decor was on point with gorgeous ocean views. Loved their guidebook and we were able to see volcano erupt at Hawaii Volcano National Park! Exceptionally clean

The views are amazing and the crashing waves were so fun to watch! The accommodations were perfect for our purposes. The only thing to note is that the second bedroom is accessed by passing through the first bedroom. There is a curtain to draw for privacy. This was not a problem for us. Great stay in a beautiful spot!

Awesome place

This place is great, comfortable, clean, well decorated and everything you need. One of the best vrbo’s we’ve stayed. We loved staying here for our time in the Hilo area. We even saw whales in the back one morning. Chase and Allison were very helpful with helping with things to do with our 3 & 4 year old.

Million Dollar View

Incredible view with great space for rest and relaxation. Chase was so friendly and very helpful with great suggestions for places to visit and good restaurants. We loved our stay here!!! You will too book it now before you miss out.

Very good communication with Chase! I asked about binoculars to view the whales & he delivered them to our door! Warm & welcoming. Beautiful setting & lovely surroundings. Guide book is a win! This is our 2nd stay. Would highly recommend the property!

Beautiful location near Volcano National Park!

We stayed for a couple nights here on our trip to the Big Island to see Hilo and Volcano National park. The house had everything we needed and a spectacular view. The hosts are wonderful. Be sure to ask for their travel suggestions I should have asked sooner they had some great ones! Great property, location and hosts. We highly recommend!

This is a lovely spot right on the lava cliffs with waves crashing right in front of your garden seat. Everything about this place is perfect. Beds are superb. We shall return!

Our stay was great. The until was well stocked and clean. Lots of extras, like snorkling and beach items and beach towels. The setting was beautiful. Watched the surise over the water each morning. The old lava flow out back was very cool. Convenient location for the Volcanoes National Park and Hilo

Hawaiian vaca

The check-in process was nice and easy. The place was very well kept and very clean. They also left some site seeing ideas, to which, I think we did every one. The veiw was amazing and the crashing wave was like waking in a dream and the hot tub just finished it off. My wife and I would definitely stay there again. Thank you chad, it was very pleasurable and relaxing

Paradise in Paradise

Property is absolutely breathtaking. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise and ocean spray. Relax on one of the Adirondack chairs, while sipping your morning coffee and marveling at the black lava right below your feet. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome with personal touches that made this remote hideaway not only the perfect spot for our 25th anniversary, but something we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Fantastic value in a stellar location

The major pros to renting this home were how close it was to the water on an amazing old lava flow. The views were spectacular and the sunset/sunrise was breathtaking. We very much appreciated the cleanliness of the home and the size was perfect for us. The only issue for us was the size and comfort level that the beds provided - both were more "double" than queen sized and the mattresses weren't great - the saving grace was definitely the sound of crashing waves that helped lull us to sleep. Would still recommend this spot to anyone despite the fact that the beds could use an upgrade.

Beautiful and Serene Getaway!

The hosts have thought of everything at this location… it is truly as advertised, and then some! We were extremely pleased with the living space, comfortable beds and overall accommodations inside. The outside of the property is beyond amazing, as well, giving mesmerizing views of the Pacific. The property is very neat and clean, with attention to details by the host. We had everything we needed, and then some, including a very comfortable, new bed. Communication form the host was perfect, and we could not have asked for more. We will definitely be back!

Retirement Vacation

This property is absolutely beautiful! Ocean is just outside your door. We stayed in Jan-Feb and saw lots of whales. Close to Volcano National Park. Hilo is only 10 miles away. Nice kitchen, bathroom. Chase (host) is awesome! Always ready and willing to provide information and helpful suggestions on what to do/where to go. Went above and beyond by supplying us with a "care package" when we weren't feeling well for a few days.

This beautifully decorated oceanfront home had everything the three of us we needed for a perfect Christmas holiday. We loved walking out from the covered patio onto the backyard lava cliff to watch the rolling turquoise waves, and sometimes saw sea turtles swimming. While dining on the patio we spotted whales spouting and breaching! There is great communication with the owner, but also a very helpful booklet they’ve made of the best nearby beaches, activities, and dining. The kitchen is fully equipped. While cooking you can see orchids on the palms outside the window. We were impressed with the details that added to the beauty, comfort, and joyful experience at this home.
