Step inside Villa Florecitos to discover a bright, contemporary, fully equipped kitchen and cozy living space, ready to host any gathering. Make meal prep a lively event by choosing to BBQ poolside or creating simple and fun dishes on the gas range while guests enjoy time together. For those quiet nights, unwind on the plush soft, velvety couch or murphy bed with a great book from your very own library. When the time comes to head off to bed, you’ll have the tough decision of selecting between the gorgeous first-floor king suite featuring an intimate, shaded walkout terrace or the equally charming second-floor king suite, with exclusive balcony. A third upstairs bedroom and bathroom, furnished with a classic wooden bunk bed provides additional sleeping arrangements for up to 3 guests if necessary. After spending some time at the pool, switch up the scenery and hang out or take in a spectacular sunset at the beach, located just steps away from the villa.

This place worked perfectly for us - 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gave it 5 stars because I'd highly recommend - everything from check-in to leaving was simple and easy and the house has everything you could need. However, below are a few things I didn't realize before booking so just want others to be aware (it does look like the descriptions have been updated but, just in case ....)!- There is AC in the main areas and bedrooms but not in the bathrooms, master walk-in closet or laundry room.- This is not a single dwelling home - it's a series of connected homes so you have neighbors right next to you.- The additional bed downstairs is a murphy bed in the living area.

Great Location and Great Amenities

We loved the location of this villa. Right across from the beach, walking distance to great hotels and in a quiet neighbourhood. We rented a golf cart which allowed us to go into Tamarindo on a number of occasions. Romi was quick and responsive to our requests. Would definitely come back. We loved the villa and the pool was awesome.

A wonderful stay, great house, perfect location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Starting with the staff at Five Star, they were so amazing. The rental process, handled by Maria, was easy, quick and had no issues. You are then assigned a concierge and I cannot say enough great things about Romi. She helped us with every aspect of our trip; providing an itinerary, booking our travel to/from the airport, booking an excursion, reserving a golf cart, made dinner reservations and quickly answered all my questions. During our stay she checked in to ensure we had everything we needed and helped to book 2 massages at the house for us. From the time I reached out to the time the therapists showed up to the house was only 1hr, awesome! The Rincon de la Vieja excursion Romi booked for us was a private adventure and our driver and tour guide Ariel was simply amazing! The 2 drivers we had from the airport to the house were also wonderful. The house:Very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked. Lots of pots/pans, utensils, and general supplies. The grill was the cleanest I have ever had at any property I have rented in the last 15yrs. The pool was clean and there was a gentleman that came 2 times to sweep, clean the grill again, and ensure the pool was spotless. Beds are comfortable. There are beach chairs (that need to be replaced), plenty of beach towels, plenty of bath towels and blankets. We had one cleaning in the middle of the week which was quite nice. Air conditioning in the bedrooms, kitchen and living area all worked great. There is a TV in the master bedroom and the living room. Location:Perfect, a short drive in the golf cart to Tamarindo. (approx. 10 minutes from the house all the way to the furthest end of Tamarindo). Playa Langosta is far enough away from the hustle/bustle of Tamarindo and on the quiet side. I do recommend a golf cart; it was easy and made trips to places so much faster than walking. We did not have to use a taxi. 100% I will rent from Five Star again and would recommend to anyone visiting Pl

Great villa in great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 7+ a two year old baby enjoyed five nights at the Villa. It had plenty of room to relax indoors in the living area, plus a beautiful outdoor pool. There were 3 full bedrooms plus a Murphy bed for one of my adult sons. The Villa is located across the street from the beach and a quick walk through a path to one of the most gorgeous beaches I have ever been to. Every evening, we would walk down to the beach and watch the sunset. There are also several restaurants and stores nearby. We particularly loved at the Indian restaurant next-door. Our concierge was great. She arranged many trips for us and the shuttle is from the airport. She was very communicative and replied to us very quickly. Tamarindo is a very special place to be. The home is located about a 10 minute walk from Tamarindo town center. We rented a golf cart to get around as well.

Wonderful property

What a great house 100 yards from the beach. Perfect three bedroom house for our family of four. Master bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms up. The kitchen was stocked with literally everything you need, and very organized. The house was very clean upon arrival. We rented a golf cart, which was great. A five minute cart ride away is the town of Tamarindo, so you can quickly drive in to town for meals, shopping, surfboard rentals, etc., yet you can easily get home that’s just enough distance away to be much more quiet and comfortable. It’s in a very safe part of town surrounded by some very exclusive houses across the street right on the beachfront. You also have access to Five Star’s concierge service, and Romi was very helpful with restaurant recommendations/reservations, golf cart rentals, etc. she also made check in and check out (right at the house) super easy and fast so you start your vacation right away. We will definitely be staying with them again.

The staff was nothing but 5 star. They were attentive for everything we asked. We had maid service and pool and bbq cleaning every other day. It was right across from the beach and a 10 minute drive to town. Walking distances to a few beach clubs and restaurants. We loved every minute of our stay here and even considered extending another week! We will be back!

We loved our villa!

Our time in our villa was perfect! We loved the basketball goal in the pool, our wildlife visitors, and the beautiful indoor spaces! Our beds were comfortable, the kitchen was lovely, and the outdoor garden was beautiful! Natalia, Maria, and Denisse helped us out several times with reservations and other recommendations, which made our stay super easy! Thank you, Five Star Tamarindo, and we hope to rent from you again!

Choose to eat indoors in a beautifully laid out kitchen, or enjoy the private outdoor space which includes a poolside BBQ and large dining/entertainment area. We absolutely loved our stay, we loved the convenience of this location, a few steps to the beautiful beach, walking distance into Tamarindo and endless sunsets. The endless sunset will totally captivate and inspire your inner being. The villa was immaculate, complete with beautiful indoor and outdoor furniture. A most relaxing and calming atmosphere. I love the location of this property as it is your own private oasis; yet close enough to walk to magnificent restaurants and shopping. The property management team was the best. Incredible Property! Location Location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having been to Costa Rica a number of times, I still really feel like this location is the best of the best. Beyond the obvious (Private Pool, Outdoor Kitchen, Beautiful Indoor Space) it keeps you close enough to the amenities of Tamarindo, but just far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle too! The beach is directly across the road and we walked the beach to Tamarindo for breakfasts. In the evening, we watched the sun go down each night at the beach across the road. We were lucky enough to have a family of Monkeys pass through our tree line every couple of days. In all, whether you are staying here for the duration of your stay, or using this as a jumping off point for other excursions, I would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Costa Rica! I will 100% be back. I should note, I have stayed in different Villas at Villas Cerca del Mar, and Villa #4 with it's fresh renovations is unreal!
