Dette er en unik ejendom på Maalaea Bay. For nylig opgraderet og renoveret kan det prale med kørestolsvenlige funktioner, såsom et stort master-badeværelse, ADA-kompatibelt, herunder et stort brusebad. Tilgængelighed i stueetagen og meget tæt handicap parkeringsboder gør adgangen ideel. Ingen elevatorer at skulle tackle. Du kan rulle helt op til sandstranden!

Hvis du ikke har brug for tilgængelige funktioner, er denne enhed stadig den perfekte tilflugtssted. Det ligger i et roligt område i Makani A Kai ejerlejlighed med masser af privatlivets fred. I tilknytning til et dyrelivsområde og 4 miles med uafbrudt sandstrand er der ikke noget andet ejerlejlighed mod syd i miles.

Det ligger også direkte ved siden af det bedste svømmeområde i Maalaea og et verdenskendt surfplads. De lokale ved, at denne strand er den bedst bevarede hemmelighed på Maui - væk fra turistområderne med stor trafik.

Vi bor og voksede op på Maui, og vores eget hus ligger kun få minutter væk! Hvis du har behov, er du velkommen til at ringe til os!

Convenient location

The location of the property was out of the congestion of the main Maui area, but convient to reach everything else we chose to visit during our stay.

Beachfront getaway in Maalaea

We had a wonderful stay at Jon’s place. The location was perfect as it was just a few steps from the beach, which during our stay was very private. We are a family of five with young children and were very comfortable. The unit came with everything we needed i.e. linens, towels, beach chairs and a well stocked kitchen (pots/pans/utensils etc). We look forward to a return visit!

Maui Condo

Lovely and cozy condo with great access to the bay and beautiful pool. Clean and refreshing! Would definitely stay here again. Handicap access was very efficient. Jon was very nice and detail oriented.

There's a little hideaway.....

This condo is very well set up for a wheelchair user traveling with a companion. Toilet, roll-in shower, sink and closet well thought out. The condo is the further set back of the complex but has a private yard area off the lanai. Due to location, the car, the laundry, and access is really easy. No stairs. The park right next door, miles of beach with out many people; private, Nice Hawaiian style. Great space for family, central to the island in a quiet area away from bustle. Restaurants, whale watches, boat charters, the Maui Ocean Center easy walk. We had a lovely stay.

The location is fabulous. Not the best ocean view we were mere steps to a beautiful beach. The owner of this great condo was helpful at every turn.

Nothing but Aloha

We had the most amazing trip for our first time in Maui. Jon was an excellent host and this spot is fantastic. Walk right to the beach from the property. Located between 2 towns so you have options on activities. Highly recommend staying here if you are a small group and want a fantastic visit.

Anniversary/ Graduation trip

Absolutely loved this place! When we arrived it was nice and clean inside, and hidden in the back so it was nice and private. Beach was just a short beautiful walk down the path. The property opens into a gorgeous beach that was perfect for our kids 18, 16, 12 to go play in, and turtles always near the rocks! This was a perfect condo for our family!!

Satisfied Costumers

The unit is perfectly accessible - the room & bathroom are spacious. There’s enough room to maneuver a power wheelchair. The roll in shower is perfect! The only problem is the unit is next to a parking lot of a park and it gets really noisy at night. Overall, the whole property is a thumb’s up!

Owner Jon Toda was very accommodating for early check in and late check out, because of our flight schedule.We enjoyed the quite atmosphere and beautiful landscaped grounds located next to a beautiful beach area.The only complaint was we couldnt make use of the on site laundry as it didn’t accept $ and used a app that required payment with a credit card and the app only accepted American issued credit cards,Which was a little surprising as many Canadian and other foreign citizens visit Maui on a regular basis. Overall I would stay here again.

Spacious Condo on Great Beach

The condo is clean and well equipped. When we needed tools for the grill, they were delivered the next day. Having a five mile beach just steps away is always a plus.

Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. Laundry was not inside unit but laundry soap was provided. Beds and linens were very nice. The public park right next to unit was a plus but also a negative for loud music a few nights.

Slice of Heaven

Perfect little retreat for our family. The location is great, right on a beautiful beach that goes for miles. Banana trees around the condo. Good central location for everything we wanted to see and do. The owner was quick to respond and let us have a later check out because of our late flight. The only thing is the beds are full sized and not queens. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and well appointed condo!! Many extras provided like beach umbrella and chairs, boogie board. Kitchen was stocked nicely with many cooking utensils and common spices needed for preparing meals. Owner communicated well and responded quickly to any questions abd/or needs that we had during the stay. This condo is centrally located and in a quiet complex right by a beautiful beach!!! With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms everyone had privacy during our family vacation. A great place to stay!!!!

Beautiful Wedding Weekend

Makani a kai was the perfect home base for our 6 day stay in Maui. Easily found, check in was a breeze. Very comfortable 2 bedroom, clean and on a lovely quiet beach . The few issues were quickly resolved by the next door manager. Than you, Jon. We would highly recommend your lovely condo.

Great location

The property is very pretty with lots of flowers. It is at the end of the street so fairly quiet. The condominium itself is in the back of the property, but the beach is only steps away. The beach is very secluded and we enjoyed wonderful quiet, sunrises and sunsets. We had very heavy rains and water came into one of the bedrooms from around the baseboards. Hopefully this has been fixed. The interior could use some updating, but was clean and functional. Overall we had a great stay.

Beautiful and Memorable

The property is beautiful, right next to parking and the on the beach it made loading and unloading easy. It is quiet, comfortable, and a little secluded from all the tourists areas, every time we went swimming we almost had a big piece of the beach to ourselves, and the salt water pool was also warm and very enjoyable everyday. Relaxing on the patio was a awesome place to end our days from the beach. Jon was very responsive to all our needs and helped us out with any issues we had .Overall, our visit was amazing and we definitely look forward to visiting again. Thank You

Family trip

Easy entry and helpful manager next door. The kitchen was very well stocked with good cooking equipment. We really appreciated the very nice beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler with ice packs. We used them every day. The bedrooms get a bit warm, but there are ceiling fans and box fans to help out. We enjoyed listening to the ocean waves in the evening at the complex. The complex itself is really well maintained. The grills, laundry, tables and chairs are well kept.

Great accessible condo

My adult daughter is in a wheelchair and this condo was much better than most hotel and resort rooms. The bathroom especially with wheel in shower, grab bars, hand held shower and portable shower chair made things much easier. We had a beautiful location with great scenery and from her we were able to drive to many other interesting parts of the island. Whenever I had to contact Jon, he responded quickly to my questions during booking and during our stay. Thanks Jon.

Wonderful Property

We loved this location! The property is so convenient - just steps away from a beautiful beach with great swimming and snorkeling. The beach also extends for miles to the East, great for an early morning walk or run in relative solitude with the sun rising over Haleakala. A short walk to the outstanding Maui aquarium and a small shopping center with shave ice and a few restaurants. Maalaea is actually pretty centrally located too. The condo was really clean, cosy, and practical. The lanai looks out on the neighboring beach park and ocean. The condo is also right next to the laundry area (not noisy at all, but rather highly convenient). Jon Toda, the property manager, was super responsive and friendly. Mahalo!

Just OK Property

The condo itself was clean and had the basic necessities. It served its purpose. We had to do laundry to clean our towels and buy toilet paper. The unit is next to beach access and there were some very undesirable people in this area quite a bit of the time. Made me uncomfortable enough that my daughter and I did not go out at dark alone and I am not an overprotective person.

Our family had a fantasti...

Our family had a fantastic stay at Jon's place in Makani A Kai. We always felt safe as our next door neighbor was the friendly building manager. Jon's unit in particular was perfect as it provided an affordable, yet up-to-date 2 bed/2 bath accomodation. I did my research and could not find a better deal. The area is fantastic if you don't mind wind (apparently Maalea Bay is a windier area of the island); our family loved it. Notwithstanding wind, the area is ideal because of its central location to every corner of the island; it makes for a perfect base camp. Additionally, the beach in the area is very low key. Other areas like Napili have hoards of guests but the Maalea Bay affords a higher degree of privacy and serenity. Thumbs way up to Jon and Ron (the building manager) for being such great hosts. Thanks Jon!

Great place for family vacation

Terrific location and beach access. Each room has its own A/C and ceiling fan. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly owner and facility Manager. Great spot if you like to walk on the beach. You can walk from the complex all the way to Kihei on the beach.

It makes a difference to be at a property right on the sandy beach. This low-rise condominium has a swimming pool and a nice grassy lawn with lawn chairs and a BBQ area with gas grills - all right on the beach! During whale season you can see whales playing just offshore.
