Godt liv: Great Rates, Familievenlig, Pool, Strand, Overdækket, Trådløs

Thanks so much for your very kind review! I’m so glad you enjoyed the cottage and the area. We love the Good Life Cottage’s location, too—it’s so close to the beach and to all the coffee shops, restaurants, shops, and activities in Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, and other communities nearby. One of the things we especially like about the location of the Good Life is that, while you’re close to so much, the cottage is in a lovely quiet community where you can enjoy some peace and quiet when you’re relaxing at the cottage, on the porch, or by the pool. We’d be happy to welcome you back to the Good Life Cottage anytime. You know we’ll take great care of you! Paula

We sincerely enjoy making sure our guests have all the information they need to settle into the cottage and area quickly, so they can relax and start making memories - whether that's enjoying the porch, pool, and beach or exploring the many restaurants, shops, and more that the nearby area has to offer. We make it a priority to be accessible whenever our guests have questions or need anything before, during, or after their stay. We hope you come back to the Good Life. You know we'll take great care of you! Paula

We do our best to make it easy for our guests to settle into the cottage, feel at home, and get acquainted with the area so that they can relax and make memories that will last a lifetime. I'm so glad you had an excellent stay, and I'm especially delighted that you found the cottage to be even better in person than in the photos! We really want our guests to arrive at the Good Life and say, “Wow, this is really nice!”—and immediately see how much we care about making their stay easy, comfortable, and special. As for the pool situation, our community is typically very peaceful, with wonderful guests and neighbors. Every once in a while, though, someone needs a little reminder about the community rules. When our guests let us know about something like this during their stay, we’re happy to contact the board right away. The board quickly sends a friendly reminder to all owners to make sure their guests are following the rules, and these situations are resolved quickly so that our gem of a community can be a peaceful haven for all guests. Again, we're happy that you had an excellent stay. and we’d love to have you back at the Good Life - You know we’ll take great care of you!

Thank you for your kind review! It truly means a lot. I'm glad you noticed how clean the cottage is - we do regular deep cleanings so that every guest arrives to a fresh, welcoming space. We also enjoy decorating with cozy, comfortable, and updated furniture so that our guests feel like they're relaxing in a well-kept and loved beach cottage rather than a rental. Like you, we appreciate the peacefulness of this gem of a community — quiet, yet close to everything, including the lovely beach where Mother Nature entertains beach-goers with a unique sunset every night. Of course, I'm happy I was able to answer your questions quickly. We're looking forward to hosting you again at the Good Life. You know we'll take good care of you! Paula

Thanks so much for your wonderful review! We look forward to hosting you again in the future. You know we'll take great care of you :-)

Hi Liz: I'm, of course, delighted that the cottage layout worked out so well for your family. There's plenty of room for everyone to gather and enjoy together-time and the 3 bedrooms provide nice mini-escapes for napping and alone time as well. We, too, like it that our cottages are so close to the beach because our guests don't have to worry about parking, trams, etc., to get back and forth to the beach. Our goal is that all of our guests have easy, relaxing vacations in every way so that they can focus on making memories with the people they love :-). We hope you come back to the Good Life or our cottage next door (Key Lime VRBO 33828) soon. We will take good care of you and your family! Sincerely, Paula

Hi Penni: I'm happy you had a great vacation with your family at the Good Life! That's our goal - to design and equip the cottage with everything our guests need to have an easy and fun vacation because we know vacation time is precious for families. We hope your family enjoyed all the puzzles, games, books, and beach toys. We want the memories you make together while you are on vacation at the beach to last a lifetime. We hope you come back to the Good Life or try out our 3 bedroom/2 bath cottage next door, Key Lime (VRBO 33828). We will take good care of you! Paula

Thank you for your kind review, Kimberly. I'm happy that you enjoyed the cottage - sounds like you appreciated our new renovations :-). I agree that the location is quite ideal. We, too, enjoy the very short walk to the beach, as well as the few steps from the pool and within walking distance or a quick drive to great places to eat (and several coffee shops). We hope you come back to the Good Life or try out our cottage next door (also 3 bedroom/2 bath - Key Lime Cottage, VRBO 33828). We will take good care of you. Paula

Thanks for your kind review, Casey. I'm glad you enjoyed the location and pool so much, and I'm glad you enjoyed our responsiveness to your needs and questions. Thanks for your kind words! I'm delighted that you enjoyed the bikes, the convenience of the area (being so close to the lovely beach, many nice restaurants, coffee shops, easy walking, and more), and how well the cottage is equipped. We do our best to think about everything our guests will need so that our guests can relax and enjoy their vacation. And, I'm glad you enjoyed our recommendation for Goatfeathers! It's one of our favorite casual places to eat nearby because you can pick up your take-out meals and then dine at the picnic tables in the "commons" nearby and bring your own drinks (or dine under the breezy fans on the cottage porch). Their fried fish is among the best we've had. We're looking forward to your next trip to the Good Life - You know we'll take good care of you! Paula

Hi Tyler: Thanks for your kind review - an awesome and relaxing vacation is our goal for our guests! We know your vacation time is precious and we want to help you make the most of it in a beautiful place. We hope you come back to the Good Life or try out our cottage next door (Key Lime VRBO 33828, also 3 bedroom/2 bath and recently renovated). You know we'll take good care of you! Paula

Thanks for your kind words, Carmen! I'm glad you enjoyed the cottage and the location. It's great to be steps from the pool and still have privacy and quiet when relaxing on the covered porch surrounded by the native trees and palmettos :-). Being only a 5 minute walk to our deeded beach access where you can set up and relax is pretty great, too. I'm glad you found our communication to be helpful. We're happy that our guests trust us with their precious vacation time, and we do our best to provide useful information regarding the cottage and nearby community before our guests arrive, and we answer all questions quickly because we want our guests to settle into the cottage and start relaxing as soon as they get to the cottage. We hope you come back to the Good Life or try out our cottage next door (Key Lime, VRBO.com/33828). You know we'll take good care of you and your family! Paula

Hi Gary: Your kind review certainly made my day! I'm delighted that you and your family loved your stay and the location of the Good Life (we love our peaceful little community, too). And, of course, I'm very happy that you had a top-notch experience with the support you received before and during your stay. We try to take care of all of our guests' needs so that our guests can focus on relaxing and making sweet memories. I hope you come back to the Good Life or try out our other cottage next door (Key Lime, VRBO 33828, also 3 bedroom/2 bathroom). You know we'll take good care of you! Paula

Thank you for your glowing review, Leah! I'm so glad you had the R&R you had hoped for and found the cottage to be perfectly wonderful for your stay! We do our best to ensure that our guests have an easy and lovely vacation from the time they walk in the door until they leave :-). We agree that being a few steps from the pool and only a 5 minute walk to an uncrowded beach where you can set up and relax is very convenient (we're big fans of the large fully furnished covered porch, too). We sure hope you come back to the Good Life - you know we'll take good care of you! Paula

Thanks for taking the time to write such a kind review, Chelsea! I'm delighted that your family had a great time. Like you, our motto when we are at the cottage is "porch, pool, beach, repeat". I'm glad that your family enjoyed all the books, puzzles, and beach toys (and games). Our goal is to help our guests settle in quickly and make beach memories that will last a lifetime - and we know that it's usually the simple things that families and friends do together that make the best memories. Of course, I'm happy that you appreciated our responsiveness because we do our best to take care of our guests before and during their stay - thanks for noticing :-). I hope you come back to the Good Life in the future. You know we'll take good care of you! Paula

Thank you for your kind review, Caroline. I'm delighted that you had an amazing stay! I agree that the location is great - within a 5 minute walk to the beach (where you can set up with the beach chairs/beach toys that we provide and relax) and within walking distance to Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach that have plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, playgrounds, a farmers' market on Sunday mornings (Rosemary Beach), and more. I wish we could take credit for the beautiful weather you enjoyed, but we'll give credit for the sunshine (and beautiful sunsets at the beach) to Mother Nature and the Sunshine State :-). We'd be happy to have you come back to the Good Life or try out our cottage next door, Key Lime (VRBO 33828 - also 3 bedroom/2 bath) in the future. We'll take good care of you and your family! Paula

Thanks for your kind review, Gerald. I'm delighted that you experienced that "down-home feeling" that we do our best to create for our guests. We want our guests to relax and feel at home as soon as they walk through the door, so that they can spend their time making memories together. We, too, spend much of our time on the covered porch when we're there to get as much of the Florida outdoor weather as we can (even when it rains). I hope your meetings went well and I hope your family enjoyed their vacation. When we are there, I see quite a few people meeting (or quietly working on their laptops) at the wonderfully designed coffee shops at Alys Beach. I've even seen the lead architect of Alys Beach meeting with her team at one of the coffee shops a few times. I hope you come back to the Good Life or try out our 3 bedroom/2 bath cottage next door (Key Lime VRBO 33828) again. We will take good care of you. Paula

Hi Brian: Thank you for your kind review! We do our best to provide an accurate description of the cottage (including the games, puzzles, etc.), porch, pool and beach on VRBO - and I'm glad you found the cottage and area to be as nice as you expected. We want all of our guests' surprises to be good ones when they arrive at the cottage ::-). Like you, we appreciate the location of the cottage - so close to the beach where our guests can set up the beach chairs that we provide and relax (or rent a beach chair/umbrella set that is set up usually by 9:00 in the morning and taken down around 5:00 p.m. ).. We hope you come back to the Good Life in the future or try out our other 3-bedroom/2 bath cottage next door (Key Lime, VRBO 33828). You know we'll take good care of you! Paula

Thanks for taking the time to write such a nice review of the cottage and area! I'm glad you appreciated the renovations (especially the new kitchen), and the cleanliness of the cottage (that's important to us and our guests). Like you and our other guests, we are thankful that the cottage is in a small quiet community on 30A that stays peaceful even during the busy spring and summer seasons - yet you can venture out and find restaurants and activities only 1/2 - 1 mile away. You were a wonderful guest (we connected a few times by text during your stay). I hope you come back to the Good Life or our other cottage next door, also 3 bedroom/2 bath and recently renovated with a new kitchen (Key Lime, VRBO 33828), in the future. You know we'll take good care of you! Paula

Dear Krista: Thank you for your kind review! I'm happy that your family enjoyed your stay and made yourself at home at the Good Life, at the beach, and at the pool and hot tub. I'm glad you enjoyed our newly renovated kitchen, too :-). And, I'm glad you enjoyed the peace and quiet of our small community, which is particularly nice during peak season like fall break even though we're close to activities when you want to get out and explore (but, like you, we spend most of our time relaxing at the pool, at the beach, and on the porch. I hope you come back to the Good Life again or try out our cottage next door, Key Lime (VRBO 33828). You know we'll take good care of you! Paula

Thank you for your kind review, Aaron. I'm delighted that you and your family enjoyed the cottage, pool, and hot tub so much! I imagine that the lovely beach only a 5 minute walk from the cottage was a hit as well. Like you, we really like the renovations that we recently completed, especially the updated kitchen with plenty of storage and the updated closets with plenty of cubbies in the bedrooms. We believe that a clean and organized cottage with ample storage helps guests settle in quickly so that they can focus on relaxing and making memories :-). We hope you come back to the Good Life or try out our cottage next door (Key Lime, VRBO 33828), also 3 bedroom/2 bath. We'll take good care of you! Paula
