Self clean option, to avoid cleaning fees

The Little Sanctuary...nestled in the woods, yet only a short drive to town and some of the greatest hiking trails. The cozy & spacious apartment has 1bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom (towels included), an electric fireplace & high speed internet. Surrounded by trees, this is the ideal place for you to get your zen on. Someone lives upstairs, but you will have complete privacy, in your own apartment. This house has two separate units. The Little Sanctuary (lower half of house) is all yours. It is only a couple minutes drive from downtown, yet away from the hustle and bustle and near numerous hiking trails Leavenworth has to offer.

*The price you are quoted is based on (2 guests only) self-clean to save you extra charges. However, if you'd like us to do the work, you can book full cleaning service at the additional charge of $ 55 (one night stay) or $70 (2+ night stays).

DOGS are welcome at an additional charge ($25 per dog/day) and yes, even service dogs. They are not to be left home alone, barking. They need to be well behaved and housebroken. A friendly small dog lives upstairs. Owners are asked to leave the place dog hair free, so please bring blanket and/or dog bed. Dog inquires are necessary and need to be made before you book your stay.

NO more than 2 guests accepted and only up to 2 dogs maximum.

From the sitting area outside the apartment, you can enjoy the view of Tumwater ridge, Hummingbirds, deer and flowers or snowflakes (in the winter).

Complimentary parking. A few stairs, as well as, a driveway lead up to the apartment. (See pictures)

This is a quiet neighborhood and you’ll have absolutely privacy. Keep in mind though that you’ll be hearing people upstairs. Absolutely no partying and no loud noise after 10 pm counts for you and them, to keep it respectful.

No tobacco on the premises and especially not inside or near the house.

You will be reliable for your own safety in case of injury, on or near the property. We do not take liability for any damage during your stay or any injuries, which might occur, on the property or during your stay. Although this is a safe neighborhood, we do not take liability for any thefts, which in my 20 years of living here, have never occurred.


Check-out at 10 am: If it is possible, you can request a late check out at an agreed time for and additional charge.

Check-in: 3 pm: If an early check in is possible, we can make an exception upon request and at an additional charge.

Self cleaning entails:

- Stripping beds and put it in laundry basket
+ add towels and kitchen linens to it

- Take out the trash/recycling and be sure
to securely close trash cans securely,
so bears can’t get to it.

- Clean all dishes and put away.

- Broom and hand vacuum is in storage room labeled with CLEANING SUPPLIES. Please use it.

-Wipe down all surfaces as well as bathroom.

- Let us know if anything needs to be fixed, improved or deep cleaning.
