Peacefully situated in the village of Larressore, 5 minutes from Espelette, 7 minutes from Cambo-les-Bains, and 10 minutes from Itxassou, you'll be in no time surrounded by magnificent hiking trails and typical sightseeing opportunities in the Basque Country's interior. Let yourself be tempted by the many farms, farmers' markets, and typical village festivals that will make your summer a unique and authentic experience. For the more athletic and/or adventurous, you'll need to take the car, and in 15 minutes you'll be in Bayonne, the number one city in France "where life is good," to be discovered for its exceptional setting and world-renowned gastronomy. It will be the epicenter of your exploration of the Basque coast from Saint-Jean-de-Luz to Biarritz, passing through Guéthary. An idyllic setting awaits you: Basque or Landes beaches, waves of sand or rocks, and the numerous and comprehensive tourist facilities of this particularly pleasant, typical, and friendly region. Still have a little energy and a desire to explore? In 50 minutes door-to-door, you'll be comfortably settled in Gros, a neighborhood worth discovering in San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa, with some tapas and a txakoli. But also Zarautz and its legendary surf beach, not forgetting the walks of Pasaia and its incredible maritime history. No doubt you'll find yourself short on time during this vacation, as there are so many things to discover and leisure activities available from this peaceful base, slightly removed from the crowds, that is our wonderful house XOTILAENIA.
