We had an amazing time. The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was perfect for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed a fire every day. The cabin was very clean with plenty of blankets and comfortable furniture. The views were gorgeous, and the drive up to the cabin was not bad. The hosts were very responsive and you can tell they take pride in being excellent hosts. We will definitely book again at Serenity!!

Great stay

The property and scenery were beautiful. The drive up is a bit rough but it is a cabin on a mountain so it's to be expected. Overall it was a great stay and the cabin was great.

Nice cabin with a beautiful view. Communication with the owners was very easy and they were very responsive. You definitely need an all wheel drive if you go there during winter or rainy season.

Serenity stay

Was a very peaceful place to stay. There were a few items that should have been at the cabin but didnt really affect the stay enough to call it a camplaint

Fantastic

Other than the driveway and not having 4WD, this house was perfect. Within 20 min of downtown but secluded. Stunning views and the hosts were very responsive. The one lane gravel roads are a little unnerving but once there, everything was perfect. Hot tub was perfect, foosball and games for family nights and the porches are perfect for reading or napping!

Cozy Cabin

This property was just as described. Had all the amenities we needed. Nice having towels for the hot tub and shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

Comfy cabin

Clean and well stocked. Everything worked except batteries in one of the 3 controllers,however, all three controllers work on all the tv’s so all was good. Overall a nice getaway.

Great Stay!!

We enjoy this cabin and what it offered. Loved the hot tub. The owner was very responsive. Good thing he had a bear proof garbage can!! It is very cozy cabin and well stocked. The road is full of divets and pot holes and driveway is difficult getting in and out. We had AWD, thank god for dry weather. Good location to everything.

Cozy spot for a getaway

Great property with gorgeous views. Loved that the two bedrooms were separated by a level and had their own bathroom. Host was very communicative and helpful. Make sure to bring matches or a lighter and newspaper/wood if you want to have a fire either indoors or outdoors!

Wondeful weekend getaway

Peoperty was as advertized. Very clean well maintained cabin. With all amenities you need. We enjoyed abquite weekend. Minutes from great dining in a relaxed setting. Property owners were awesome and quickly answered questions. Highly recommend.

Cozy Getaway

This cabin was a great getaway for my family. The kids loved it. The cabin was very clean and exactly as advertised. The hosts were very accommodating. One recommendation for anyone staying here is to make sure you have a vehicle that is either AWD or 4x4. The path can get difficult to drive if the weather turns bad. Over all a fantastic stay.

Beautiful Views

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. The views from the porch are incredible. Relaxing in the hot tub after hiking was a nice way to end the day. We enjoyed the separation between the bedrooms and our nightly foosball games got pretty intense. The cabin was well stocked, peaceful, clean and comfortable. There are a few cabins in the vicinity but we didn't notice any neighbors at all. We would definitely stay here again. The road to the cabin was rough (since you're on the top of a mountain), but having AWD helped and you just need to take it slow in low gear.

Perfect for what we needed!

Last minute booking for our son's baseball tournament. Property as advertised. Very clean and well stocked (nice touch with creamers in the fridge and extra spices!) The drive is a bit tricky but doable. Had to sign in to your own account to watch tv - that was kind of a pain especially if you can't remeber your password! Overall a great stay!

We had a great time at the property. Although, it seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while.. dead bugs were in the floor in the bedroom and living room. The outside furniture was covered in pollen. Over all the stay was great but I wish the housekeeping would have been better for the price that we paid.

We have stayed any many cabins in the Blue Ridge area. For what we paid for this cabin we were very disappointed! The cabin had such a bad musky smell as if it had been not used for quite some time. We had to get Lysol to spray and open the door to try and air it out. The outside patio furniture you could not sit on for the mold and pollen . Cobwebs on all the windows so not a pleasant view when looking out them. We had to clean mouse droppings out of the bathroom. The main bathroom with a shower did not drain well so you stood in water while taking a shower.

Simple & Easy

My wife and I booked Serenity for a quick trip away without the kids. The property met and exceeded all of our expectations. The location is fantastic and the views from the decks are great. Please note that the descriptions regarding the roads leading up to the cabin are accurate. We had an SUV that was not AWD/4WD and made it, but honestly having AWD/4WD would have made the trek easier. We were fortunate to have dry conditions. I felt the host was very transparent in their description of the roads, so we were prepared. The cabin was really clean and well stocked, and the expectations for checkout were clear and reasonable. Although there are other cabins around, we had plenty of privacy and were not bothered by unreasonable noise or traffic. The name of the property is accurate!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOST

The cabin and our weekend was great. A week after we left we realized that we had forgotten our laptop at the cabin and new exactly where it was. I contacted the host about it at 930pm. They told me the cleaning crew had not been there. I asked for permission to drive up there and get our computer. An hour and a half later at 1030pm, they responded and said the cleaning crew said there was no computer there and that I had lost the computer somewhere else. The host was extremely rude and condescending in their responses. A week later my fiancé contacted them and said that we tracked the computer and we know it’s there and we would file a stolen property claim if they didn’t let us come grab. Then all the sudden the host says I can come check but I am NOT allowed to enter the property if they are not there. I drove all the way up there and no one was there. I walked around the porch and someone had came and out our computer outside on the table. It was clearly our mistake that we forgot our computer but the host also new it was there and likely tried to steal the computer. They were extremely rude to us the whole time. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOST.

Note: The hot tub is completely drained and properly disinfected each and every time we have a new guest as we follow current COVID-19 cleaning standards. No exceptions. We highly recommend that you never increase the temperature above 103 degrees Fahrenheit to avoid heat related health problems. Please do follow additional rules posted right outside the hot tub area.
