Great Location off the beaten path on the scenic Okatee River. Just 20 minutes from Hilton Head, 15 minutes from Beaufort and 10 minutes from the quaint, cozy town of Bluffton. This property has a tidal creek with a dock and two kayaks and a paddle board available(for use on high tide). There are many features in the area such as the beach, exceptional golf courses, fishing, shopping and incredible sight seeing opportunities.

Peaceful getaway

Feels secluded but only minutes from the highway. Roomy, well maintained home. Only suggestion would be to put drapes/blinds on the main bedroom windows to enable sleeping past dawn.

Winter Getaway

Property and location were great in relation to the ocean/beach, Savannah GA, Charleston SC. It was fabulous being able to wake up to the sunrise every morning.

Beautiful getaway

Great location, quiet neighborhood, beautiful views of The morning sunrise. We would definitely come back to this place again. It was awesome.

My son and I were visiting Okatie to explore the area as I am looking for a place to spend winters.Wow this rental was just perfect. Amazing location, great views and beautiful wildlife. Great Property

The house is as described in the listing ... no surprises. Communication with owners is easy and they respond quickly if you have any questions or issues. Kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms particularly so. Lots of extras provided such as soaps, papers, etc. pproducts

Gorgeous Property!!!

The property and house are exactly as pictured. The dock overlooking the water is absolutely stunning. We were a short 10 minute drive to Bluffton and about 40 minutes from Savannah. We didn’t visit Hilton Head, but this is a great home base for that as well. We will be back!

Short stay for a family obligation

Location was close to the wedding venue and enabled us to attend all events associated with the wedding for our family. Will consider for future stay since we did not get a chance to enjoy amenities our explore the area

Beautiful home on the marsh

This is a lovely home in a very peaceful setting yet close enough to main roads for easy trips to Beaufort, Bluffton and Savannah. The views over the marsh and river are lovely with many birds to see. The house is spotlessly clean, very well appointed with everything you’ll need and the beds are very comfortable. Communication with the owner was excellent and we would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Great golf getaway

Coming from Florida and visiting this place was amazing with my family! Close to amazing and prestigious golf courses. Waking up in the master bedroom with the sun and amazing views was incredible. There was nothing like having your morning coffee on the back deck

5 Days in Okatie

My husband and I from Kansas City, stayed with our mother-in-law from London this in this Okatie home for 5 days. Although we did a fair bit of driving, from this location, we easily visited Savannah, Charleston, Hilton Head, Hunting Island, Bluffton and Beaufort.

Loved it so much I wanted to make it my home

This Stay was the best of a life time!! I was born and raised in the okatie area and I have been going from the area for some years due to serving in the military but upon my return to the area i was stunned to have found a place so beautiful and peaceful. Would stay here again in a heart beat

Feels like Home!

This rental has everything including comfort, cleanliness, quiet, relaxing and entertaining with a strong WiFi. I had to work a few times with a VPN and the Wifi handled it beautifully. All the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The couch was huge with a TV that you can figure how to operate quickly. The kitchen has all the gadgets with stocked spices, oils, paper towels, napkins and and 2 different type of COFEE MAKERS! The pier was a lot of fun to see the rays, turtles, racoons, fish and 100s of birds. The rental provides fishing gear and kayaks. We visit family in this area 2x a year and we will definitely rent this property again. Its nice to have your own place after visiting with family to have a break.

Zakhai’s First Birthday/Family Trip

The house was amazing. It was like being home away from home. Ducked off, but still close to the city. The dirt road brought me back to my childhood as I grew up in a dirt road. The location is very peaceful and quiet. The backyard and patio are super relaxing. We enjoyed staying and wished I had booked to stay longer.

Very relaxing and tranquil vacation!!

I can't say enough about this place :) It was very clean and well stocked. The views were absolutely stunning and we spent a majority of the time looking out onto the marsh from the sunroom. They had a little table in the sunroom where you could read, draw, or play on your laptop while enjoying the view. We stayed fourth of July and we got a private view of the amazing fireworks that was shot from across the marsh by we're guessing a business across the way. The super long dock that went out onto the marsh was nice to go onto at night when it got cool. The owners were really nice and responded to all of our needs in a timely fashion. It was just an amazing place to stay :) :) Would definitely stay again!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

We had a fantastic time! The house and property are both beautiful and relaxing. The location is perfect to get back and forth to Hilton Head Island and Beaufort. The hosts were very hospitable and answered our questions promptly.

Spectacular View

This property has amazing views of the river, birds and marshland. It's close to many eateries and stores. The owners were very responsive to our needs. We would recommend this home for a nice family getaway.
