Welcome to The Island Easy

Imagine waking up on Anna Maria Island with nowhere to be.

Pour a cup of coffee, step outside to catch the morning sunrise, grab your flip-flops and wander to the beach. Spend the afternoon by one of two heated pools, hop on the free island trolley right outside the complex, or settle onto the balcony overlooking the tropical courtyard and let island time take over.

The Island Easy is made for exactly this kind of stay.

Our bright, coastal one-bedroom condo has all the comforts of home, with the beach just a short walk away. Unpack into the large walk-in closet, sink into the king Tempur-Pedic bed at the end of the day, stretch out in the reclining living room, or cook something wonderful in the fully stocked kitchen with HexClad cookware. A flexible space can become your morning coffee spot, a comfortable place to work remotely, or a wine bar at the end of the day — because a month on the island should feel like home, not a visit.

And beach days? Of course we’ve made those easy, too. A Cool Cabana, beach wagon with attachable beach bag and cooler, zero-gravity chairs and a Bluetooth speaker mean all you really need is your swimsuit, sunscreen and a favorite beach book.

Bringing the dogs? Bring them! The Island Easy welcomes up to two dogs, and we keep a dog bed, toys, leashes and extra waste bags on hand to help your furry friends feel at home, too.

One of our favorite things about the condo is how much you can enjoy without getting in the car. Publix and CVS are just a few minutes away on foot, Alvin’s Island is nearby for beach gear and fun finds, and the free island trolley stops right outside the complex. Hop aboard and explore from the Anna Maria City Pier to Coquina Beach, with plenty of places worth getting off and exploring in between.

We’ve also tried to think of the little things that make a longer stay easier. Everyday household and laundry essentials are waiting when you arrive, and should last the whole month. There’s even a robot vacuum to help keep the sand where it belongs — at the beach.

Start the day with an island sunrise and end it barefoot on the beach watching the sunset. In between, wander the island, find a favorite local spot, spend a lazy afternoon by the pool, or simply do nothing at all. After all, you’re on island time.

That’s the difference a longer stay makes.

The Island Easy isn’t just somewhere to sleep between beach days. It’s a comfortable little piece of Anna Maria Island where you can unpack, settle in and start to feel at home.

Amazing!

Everything we could have wanted!

This condo was in the perfect location! We could see the intracoastal waterway and it was close to shopping and the beach. Tara thought of almost everything we could need. The interior was new, clean and bright!

Very clean and comfortable

Condo was very clean upon check in! Tastefully decorated, with every utensil you might need. Location isn’t prime, but also not bad. A little further from the beach than I would prefer. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to friends and family. My only complaint was the coffee maker, it could use a Keurig.

Great place, lovely hostess

Would absolutely recommend this property as a great place for a solo traveler or small group. The location was great, walkable to the beach, grocery store, and trolley stop. Tara, the property owner was responsive and even dropped off a yoga mat for me. The apt was stocked with beach items, good kitchenware, and was clean. The community pool was well-maintained and was like having a private pool (I only saw one other guest the week I was there). Price was competitive and a good value. Thanks for everything, Tara!

Perfect Condo. Perfect stay!

The condo is beautiful. Spacious and convenient to everything. We loved our stay here and felt right at home. I cannot say enough good things about it. Stores are close by and the beach is just down the street. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great large walk in closet and the kitchen was perfect for cooking meals while having a great view or watching tv. Balcony was spacious and we spent alot of time just relaxing and having a cocktail. Tara was an excellent host and took great care of us. Thank you so much

It keeps getting better!

This was our second stay at Tara’s condo on AMI. The first year we visited was our honeymoon, and we loved our stay so much we came back this year with our first baby on the way. The condo to our surprise was updated and even more beautiful than it already was! We love this condo because it’s PERFECT location, walkable to beaches, shopping (grocery and other) and beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset set. It is so comfortable, quiet and clean. It has everything stocked that you may need for the beach! Tara is a true angel and pleasure to rent from. We feel so welcomed and look forward to coming back yearly! Thank you again for an amazing stay!

Construction

First week of our stay was very nice, the last 3 weeks have been very noisy and inconvenient with the whole project undergoing rehab and exterior remodeling of stairs, front porches screen removal, handrails on second floors and irrigation systems updating which was not pointed out during booking and was known prior to. Left early by a day as the workers were solely on our building and couldn’t get out of unit during process at all. When construction is completed, reportedly by end of October, would be a great place.

WOW ! What a great place to stay on AMI. This rental is super clean, beautifully decorated and in a great location close to stores and most importantly, the beach. The little things the owner provided went above and beyond what I have come to expect . The beach chairs, wagon, cooler and cabana were just the icing on the cake. A perfect place to stay on a perfect little island. We will be back!

Positively perfect!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience staying in this condo. The location is so convenient to grocery store, shops, church, and of course the beach! The sun rises, and the sunsets just spectacular! The condo is very clean and modern and beautifully decorated! I highly recommend this property.

We’re Marcelo and Tara, and some of our happiest times together have been spent on Anna Maria Island. Give us a beautiful beach day, something good to eat, a little live music and a sunset, and we’re pretty happy. We love to cook, explore the island, find those little places you end up going back to again and again, and sometimes do absolutely nothing except enjoy the day.

The Island Easy has become a reflection of everything we love about island life. We’ve filled it with things that make us comfortable — a kitchen where we can really cook, a bedroom that feels like a retreat at the end of the day, everything we need for the beach, a place where the dogs are family, and all the little things that make everyday life easier. We want to be able to arrive, unpack and enjoy life for a while, and that’s exactly what we want for you, too.

Maybe that’s what makes The Island Easy a little different. It wasn’t set up simply to be a rental. It was set up to be our home on the island — and when you’re here, we want it to feel like yours, too

What we love most about the neighborhood is that it feels like home. Days are casual, flip-flops are practically mandatory, and there’s always a mix of locals, longtime visitors and people who just discovered Anna Maria Island for the first time. There are little shops to wander into, live music drifting from local restaurants, boats on the water and some pretty spectacular sunsets that have a way of stopping everyone for a few minutes. Nothing feels overly hurried or complicated here. It doesn’t take long to find your own routine — a favorite place for dinner, a spot you love for sunset, or somewhere you keep going back to because they already know what you like. There’s something about this island that makes you slow down, breathe a little deeper and feel connected. We always say Anna Maria Island is good for the soul. It’s the feeling we love most about being here — and we bet you will, too.

The Island Easy is our home away from home, and we’ve set it up that way. It has the things we appreciate when we’re here — a kitchen that’s actually stocked for cooking, a comfortable king bed, plenty of room to unpack, beach gear ready for a day on the sand, and all those little everyday things that are nice to have around. We also love how easy the location makes island life. We can walk to the beach, Publix and CVS, catch the free trolley right outside the complex, or stay put and enjoy the pools and our balcony overlooking the tropical courtyard. It’s comfortable, unfussy and feels like home. That’s exactly what we want it to feel like for you, too.
