My wife and I are both designer, with backgrounds in architecture and interior design. We started VAYHAUS because we were frustrated with traveling and having dull, cookie-cutter options for places to stay. They were uninspiring, unwelcoming, and left us feeling disconnected from nature.

We chose this are because it is within 3-4 miles of Gatlinburg but far enough out to get away from the busyness of downtown Gatlinburg. Plus we have amazing views!

Our property is very unique to Gatlinburg, I think you would be hard-pressed to find modern architecture. We sit on top of a mountain that looks down to nothing but log cabins. Our huge windows will greet you as you enter the house with views of the Smoky Mountains. The living room has 15' wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows and the main bedroom has 12' tall windows. The best part is on a clear night with all the lights off you can sit (or lay in bed) and feel surrounded by stars. It is really an amazing experience.
We also have a courtyard which is an amazing space to hang out with friends and family. There is a 75" TV, fire pit, corn hole, connect four, and a large living green wall.
