Great condo

We had a great visit and would definitely stay here again. The condo was so cute, and the grounds were well maintained. My kids were huge fans of the pool and especially enjoyed the arcade games! The host was very responsive as well.

We enjoyed our stay. We were first had a minor discrepancy with the access code to the unit. But Kristen responded and fixed the problem. Enjoyed our stay and the unit was close to everything.

great views and pool was amazing

had a great time; would have liked to know it was upstairs before booking. we couldnt find a broom and the floor was driving me nuts with the mess we made. just needed to sweep. could use come TVs in the bedrooms but thats it. the property and pool was the best!

Great spot in Concan!

This home was in a great spot in Concan. We visited for a friend's wedding celebration in late October so later in the season and the week of a cooler front. My son was able to enjoy the pool although it was a bit cold but still nice for him! The location seems to be perfect. The home is nice and cozy, clean but as a few have mentioned ants did show up if anything was left out. Not a big issue as my son has a strict diet so we travel with a big container so we just packed up everything after we were finished with it. Another issue was upon arrival was the whole place was engulfed and smelt like weed. I can only assume that the previous renters smoked the whole time they stayed there which for us very unfortunate as we don’t care for the smell but that is not the owners fault but maybe the cleaners could've communicated that to them. But besides that my family of 3 and our dog enjoyed our stay there!

A decent place to stay

Down the road from stores but yet hidden amongst the trees. Check in easy. Communication with owner easy. The place itself was nice and comfy and had most of what we needed. A few issues I had were ants and dog fur. I left a plate on stove only to find it covered with ants. Ants would pop up if any little crumb was left in counters. Dog fur was found flying around the furniture in bedrooms and living area. But, most bedding and towels seems pretty clean. Another problem was not knowing that the other condos (belonging to another business) were all rented out to a Mens Retreat organization. So there were approximately 50+men at pool and communal area while me and my family tried to enjoy the area. They also had their own band which could be heard from inside. Because of this parking was crowded as well. Then there was the pool. Somewhat understanding, the middle of wooded area but it was full of beetles, moths, bees and other insects. The pump was not working quite right so not all was being filtered and cleaned. Could of been a better stay, minus the mens retreat. Idk. All in all from my visit, I’d say it was ok.

I love THE FRIO

This was easy to book, easy to submit 1 st payment and then second . Communication with owners was GREAT! I TOOK MY NIECES, MY LITTLE NEPHEW AND MY CHILDREN IT WAS AWESOME!! We well be back again and again!!! Thank you❤️

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay! We mentioned were staying for our baby moon and they left us a very sweet and thoughtful gift basket of relaxing items, candies and a onesie. The condo was so cute and had all of the items we needed to cook. The wifi worked great, the AC worked wonderfully and the beds were really comfortable. The pool was really nice and enjoyable! Our only thought is that it could use more lounge chairs, it had probably around four lounge chairs and then regular chairs. The pool was very busy with families during our stay. If you’ve never been to Frio, here are some tips; bring your own groceries or stop at the closest largest town before you arrive they don’t have large grocery stores, a lot of the restaurants shut down early in the evening we drove into Uvalde for dinner twice, if you plan to go to Garner State Park purchase your pass in advance.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was nicely arranged with comfortable furniture. There are several convenient grills available for use on the property. Our kids loved the playground and pool available as well.

Lovely Condo With a View

The condo is lovely and overlooks the swimming pool which has a waterfall. From the photos of the Frio River, I expected the condo to be walking distance to the river but it isn't. To access the river requires driving, and probably paying for parking. Since I stayed in the off-season, none of the parking areas were even open; they were gated and locked. I went to Garner State Park less than 10 miles away and got my "Frio River fix." The condo furniture is very comfortable, the kitchen is well-supplied with cookware, the beds and pillows were comfy, ac was quiet, and the tv offered free Netflix. Wifi worked fine as well. I'd stay there again, except I want to be ON the river during my next visit.

Spring Break 2022

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We had a few hiccups but Kristen was wonderfully responsive. Thank you Kristen. We loved the s’more kit that met us upon arrival. Lovely touch! Unfortunately the slide in the pool is out of order….which was disappointing but we still had a blast in the pool and exploring the many parks and trails around the area. This condo is wonderfully located with easy access to Garner State Park, Frio river and Lost Maple. Likely many more, we just didn’t have time to explore everything.
