The code for the lockbox to the cabin was not easy to find in any emails. All of the air conditioning window units were full of dust and and we cleaned them. One of the air conditioning units in the bedroom did not blow cold at all. There was trash left in the cans outside we took to the dumpster. The hand soap for the kitchen and the restroom was refilled with just water. There was only one roll of toilet paper. And half a roll of paper towel in the kitchen. No towels were provided for shower. There was an empty beer can left in the restroom beside the sink. The cabin should have been dusted better under beds and everywhere.

We appreciate you taking the time to share these details. We're glad the location worked out well, but we're sorry the cleaning fell short during this stay. Housekeeping cleans thoroughly after each guest, and we'll be revisiting with them to make sure all areas, including under beds and less obvious spots, are addressed consistently going forward. The lockbox code is included in the booking confirmation email, and we always encourage guests to reach out if it's hard to locate so we can help right away. Regarding the bedroom A/C unit, that issue was only discovered by housekeeping after checkout, and we would have gladly addressed it in real time had we been contacted during the stay, as our contact information is available on the booking site. We take this feedback seriously and are using it to improve the experience for future guests.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was just as listed and perfect location to get to garner state park quickly.

It was okay for a last minute holiday weekend booking. Very convenient location. The house was pretty much as shown in the pics. House/ yard were not very clean when we arrived. Grassed needed mowed BAD. Floor was dirty in the house with sand and pet hair, i had to sweep before brining our stuff in. Also the tv remote always missing, ( found it in the couch). Someone came while we were gone and turned on outdoor lights which I couldnt figure out how to turn off so they shined in my window all night . Other than that it was fine to shower ans sleep in.

Looking forward to making another trip

The only thing that could be better is the water pressure in the shower. The cabin was perfect for us. The outside area is nicely shaded. I cant wait to book my next trip. When I do I will definitely consider booking this cabin again. Check in/out was easy too.

Cute property! Very nice and clean inside. Only thing that was wrong was there was some trash in the front yard from previous renters that I picked up.

Looking forward to the next trip!

The cabin was a little smaller than the impression from the pictures but it was all we needed. The only thing I didnt like was the water pressure in the shower. Other than that, the week seemed to fly by and I cant wait til I can make another trip. When that time comes, I will definitely look into booking this cabin again. Check-in/out was easy and had we needed anything I had the contact info to the property manager.

Great location

The location was great- just 5minutes from the park. Property was clean and had everything we needed. The communication was above and beyond, responded to my questions immediately. Great wifi too, our service provider doesn't have coverage in this area, but it was no problem because the wifi was strong. Thanks again

In the Shadow of Old Baldy

We had a great time here. It is a perfect location next to Garner State Park to stay the night in comfort after enjoying the Frio River or hiking the trails. There was plenty of space for all of us and the kitchen had everything we needed. Actually though, we spent most of our time on the front porch and in front of the fire pit looking at the stars. The highway is a little loud at times, but you can't be the price and convenience of this location.
