Rummeligt og lyst 2 soveværelser, 2 badeværelser på en bløff med udsigt over Alsea-flodens adgang til Stillehavet. Udsigter er verdensklasse over havet, flodmundingen, spytte og Alsea Bay inklusive yndefuld Bay Bridge. Kort offentlig sti til stranden er fire partier væk. Den vestlige væg er vinduer, og spillet af tidevand og strøm, krabber og fiskerbåde, solnedgange og natlys giver et konstant skiftende show i baghaven. Meget stille gade et par blokke fra Hwy. 101.

Komplet køkken med redskaber, vaskemaskine og tørretumbler, Kabel-tv, brændeovn. Restauranter, markeder, berømt videoudlejningsbutik og golf er få minutter væk i Waldport. Placering er 1. 5 timer fra Albany / Corvallis og Eugene; .5 fra Newport; .45 fra Salishan og Firenze.

We loved this property. It had great views. It was very comfortable. Easy access to a lot of great beaches and hiking. We would definitely come back again.

Amazing views!

This was the perfect spot for a family getaway during our last baseball tournament of the season! The view is amazing and the house slept the 5 of us comfortably. We will definitely keep this place on our return list if we have more tournaments in the Waldport area!

We loved watching the ever changing landscape from the large windows. The location provides all kinds of interesting views. The house was comfortable and just the right size.

Phenomenal view!

This was a great place to spend time with family. Fairly easy path down to the beach (and a very handy rope), Views were stunning! Minor issues - a load of laundry left in the dryer and coffee maker not cleaned out. It would also have been nice to have some beach towels or blanket and additional outside chair options. But definitly someplace I would return to!

Absolutely gorgeous view!

This was our third stay in this little home with an incredible view! It never disappoints! The owner is kind responsive and always a pleasure to interact with. The master bedroom and most of the house have incredible dynamic views panning from the ocean all the way past the bridge over the Alsea River. The owner has been good about making small changes when I've recommended in the past. There is a small bedroom with bunk beds and another bedroom (closer to the road with a queen bed) that do not have heat so you'll want to leave doors open to let the warmth in overnight unless you like to sleep in the cold. Only the back bedroom has carpet. My 5-year-old son who has allergies and asthma struggles to breathe in the carpeted room but does well in the rest of the house so we just keep that room closed off when we visit. It's an easy walk in a quiet neighborhood maybe four houses down to a steep gravel walkway down to the beach and on one side there's sturdy rope to hold so you can keep your balance as needed. The seals love to play and feed right in the middle of the view from inside the house. We always see rainbows and all sorts of weather coming and going. It seems like this particular area gets more sunshine than to the North Southeast or West. The sky is often open and blue right above the house and around where the river and ocean collide. The lights of the small town at night and on the bridge are nice and the higher windows give you a good view of the stars at night. There are also two large skylights one in each bathroom that provide abundant natural light I totally appreciate. It is an older home and not updated But with such an amazing view it's not a big deal. The countertops are flat and solid laminate in the kitchen which is much safer for people with allergies than tile with grout or a textured surface:) having a telescope is also a nice perk to watch the blue herring or seabirds go about their fishing. Parking is easy on gravel just a few feet from the house and there are two solid steps to enter. Unlike most houses you can rent on a vacation it is equipped with salt and pepper! I don't know if they're okay with people using it or not but it's not locked up so you could probably use their oil or sugar as desired? Might want to check with Mike on that. It is our favorite spot to stay along the Oregon coast! Thank you again Mike and family!

We love this Rental

Once again we enjoyed staying at this home. We have stayed here 3 times now. The views are amazing, you are able to watch the fishermen on the bay, the boats in the ocean and the eagles that come and sit in a tree each day. Truly some amazing viewers. Thank you for sharing a house that makes you feel at home.

We had a lovely stay in Waldport. The view was amazing and I enjoyed the short walk down to the beach. We had everything we needed in this home.

Great location and view cannot be beat! Harbor seals hung out one day, eagle the next morning, and beautiful sunsets.

Fantastic location and views

Cozy vacation home with fantastic views. The pictures just cannot do justice to the ocean views and the bay views. Easy access to the beach for our family (though the path down to the beach could be tricky for someone with limited mobility). Comfortable and well equipped.

Relaxing Thanksgiving!

The house was a perfect size and location for our family. We stayed with a relative and our kids ages 3.5 and 1. Amazing views of the bay with great beach access at the end of the road. We watched the crabbing boats and seals everyday. We are already planning our next stay at the house!

great views

The view was relaxing to watch the comings and goings of boats and birds and seals. The Beds and couches very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. the cons were whoever was in day before us cooked fish and the smell took over the house. It took till next day to air it out. I think the stovetop and wall behind it and vent need deep cleaning to help with smells when cooking. The shower heads were kind of a hard spray and a regular size bathtub to soak in would have been nice. that tub is very small.

Ocean Bliss

This was our second stay at this property. Very well appointed. The only place we’ve stayed over the years that actually has comfortable living room furniture. The view is fabulous. Would highly recommend.

Always Fantastic

We’re return guests and this was another great stay! The view is unbeatable. We saw lots of wildlife right out the windows. The beach is quiet and practically deserted. It’s an oasis. Comfy bed and new furniture in the living room. We consider this “our vacation home” and will be back soon.

Nice ocean view!

We enjoyed seeing harbor seals on the coast and from the windows! We were disappointed that the stair access to the beach did not exist anymore. We were able to access the beach by the state park beach access though.

Welcoming, View, Comfort, and Warmth!

This was our second visit and it did not disappoint!! The location of the house made it easy to go crabbing in the bay, enjoy shopping in Waldport, Seal Rock and Newport. We were able to cook a Turkey dinner and the kitchenware was top quality with a Keurig, the necessary roasting pan, plenty of pots, tableware and a plethera of cooking tools. While we had a small issue using the electric firebox I was able to contact and speak with the host and even though it was Thanksgiving weekend he drove over to help solve our issue and made us feel like part of the family. The neighborhood is a lovely mix of old and new which made it easy to take an after dinner walk with family. If you are looking for an unobstructed view of the Bay this location will not disappoint! We will be back!

This property sits on Jaquina John Point, which juts out at the confluence of the Alsea river bay and the Pacific Ocean. It has full, unobstructed, ocean front, river front and bay front views, including the beautiful Alsea bay bridge. It is minutes to all city amenities.

This house's perch is above the Alsea's entry into the Pacific Ocean with the tide coming and going, with Winter and Summer storms and fishermen and crabbers working means a change in view moment to moment, day to day, month to month.
