The property boasts spectacular views of not only the ocean, but also the channel into the bay, the Bayshore Peninsula, the bay itself, and the bridge spanning it. It is very rare to have such a variety of stunning-unimpeded views in one location.

Beach access is just two houses down in this quiet neighborhood.

The town of Waldport and the Alsea Bay & River are gems on the Oregon Coast. Centrally located between Newport and Yachats. The Alsea Bay & River are known for their excellent steelhead & salmon fishing, crabbing, and clamming.

The location and view can't be beat!! Walking distance to beach and a great restaurant that's open for all meals. Watched bald eagles catching fish and seals swimming on a daily basis from the comfy recliners. House is very clean and cozy and equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay.

The views from this VRBO were beautiful. The house was comfortable and clean. I would have liked more modern bedding and bedroom furniture. I would also liked the fridge to be cleaned out instead of people leaving condiments.

Comfort home with spectacular views

The property was very clean with all the amenities you would expect. The master bath was very nice with a great shower. I had a very relaxing stay with no issues. Would definitely book again.

Outstanding Location in Waldport

We enjoyed several days at this beautiful house in Waldport, overlooking the mouth of the Alsea River. The view is compelling, and the house is very comfortable and well-appointed. The owner was an excellent host and very easy to communicate with, and we are looking forward to staying here again! Highly recommended!

Beautiful views at relaxing home

What a beautiful view from the massive living area windows! We watched seals basking in the sun and all sorts of birds, including an eagle. The house had everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen. The interior design blended well with the ocean view and the house was so relaxing and comfy that we truly felt at home.

Charming Coastal retreat

Dont let the humble exterior fool you, this 2 bedroom is super charming, set on the bluffs overlooking the bay on a quiet cut de sac. The welcoming interior is fresh and new throughout, with all the comforts of home. Worth mentioning that the restaurant just at the end of the street is terrific! A very pleasant place to stay.

Beautiful house & location

Fantastic views of Alsea Bay, the inlet and the ocean. The house has been remodeled at some time and is extremely nice. The master bath was especially well done. The two bedrooms are spacious. The kitchen is very nice. The family room and kitchen/dining area have beautiful views. Access to the beach is easy. Definitely returning soon.

This lovely beach house is exactly as advertised, but the views are even better than advertised. The house was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The check-in process was a breeze and our communication with the host was without issue. We were very pleased.

Views are incredible! Watching boats, fishing, seals and weather most enjoyable and relaxing. Excellent location- close to amenities but chill neighborhood. Security camera reassuring but a little creepy too. No beach access- the bank is not accessible. Walk-in shower was great- for one with limited mobility shower was appreciated.

Perfect Thanksgiving Retreat with Stunning Oregon Coast Views

This Vrbo was the perfect location for our Thanksgiving weekend on the stunning Oregon Coast. We were blessed with beautiful weather, making our stay even more delightful. The highlight was certainly the breathtaking views right from the comfort and warmth of the house, especially when watching boats pull their crab pots each morning and witnessing stunning sunsets in the evenings.Even though my 92-year-old mother couldn't make it onto the sand, the home provided us with a front-row seat to nature's beauty. We had everything we needed for a short getaway, making it a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended for both relaxation and marveling at nature!

Great Vacation Home with Bay and Ocean Front Views

Our (husband and wife) experience at this property was absolutely excellent! Everything was as described – the unobstructed view of the bay and ocean is perfect, access and parking was good, the backup supplies in the house were very generous (eg, toilet and laundry supplies, coffee/tea, extra bedding items). The house was very clean and in very good condition – the temperature control for each room was a real plus. One thing to note is the televisions (2); there are very limited channels/reception. The wireless/wifi access was great. Access to and interactions with the host was seamless. It was a pleasure staying at this home and we highly recommend it.

Peaceful getaway

This place is beautiful inside, full of amenities, and beautiful decor. There are 2 recliner chairs, tv's, a comfortable couch. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. There are gorgeous quilts to stay warm with as well. The best thing however, is the view. Every morning we spent gazing out the large windows while drinking our coffee. It was fun to watch the boats, the sea lions, the birds, and we even saw a para sailor one evening. Sunsets were extraordinary. The master shower is wonderful, large and has 2 shower heads. There are multiple easy beach access points close by. Host was immediately responsive when we had an issue with the doorlock code. Absolutely loved this place!

Outstanding View!!

We loved our stay in this clean, beautifully updated, comfortable view home! The kitchen has everything you might eat and more. The living room furniture is very comfortable and perfect for hanging out and enjoying the spectacular unobstructed view of Alsea Bay. The beds were comfortable. Bedrooms are spacious. Everything is immaculately clean.. The beach Access is only a few houses down. It’s steep so it would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. There are accessible beaches minutes away. The general area of Waldport is dense and rich with Magical beaches, and viewpoint to explore in very close proximity. I highly recommend this property. We look forward to coming back to this area for more adventures. Highlight of our trip: Sea Lions Caves Hecita Head Lighthouse and beach Cape perpetua Overlook Devils churn Yaquina Lighthouse Pacific Sourdough Watching the tide come in and out Through the giant windows of this beautiful cabin.

The ‘cabin’ was amazing. The view of the ocean, Alsea Bay & Bridge and the straight right in front that joined the two bodies of water was so cool! You could truly see the direction of the tide. We saw harbor seals playing right in front. Eagles soaring overhead. Great Blue Heron landed in front and watched Osprey dive down to snatch a fish! Very quiet, except for the sound of the ocean. We were there for ten days, four days of a minus tide! So much to see and do. The ‘cabin’ was very well equipped with everything I needed to make meals. Bed was extremely comfortable. Primary bath had a great walk-in shower. Definitely what was advertised and more. Centrally located on the coast so never had to drive long. We will be back!
