LOCATION AND AMENITIES: Cascade Village has amazing views of the Needles Mountains, and is less than 2 miles north of Purgatory Ski Resort, 26 miles north of downtown Durango, and 25 miles south of Silverton. Free on-site amenities at Cascade include an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table and game room, outdoor tennis court, ski rental shop (with discounts). It is also near the Nordic Center for cross-country skiing, and near numerous hiking trails, fishing creeks and jeeps trails. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.
SKI SHUTTLE: Purgatory offers a complimentary ski shuttle to our Cascade rental guests on a set schedule 1-2 times in the AM and PM during the ski season, on a first come first serve basis. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.
WIFI / TV: All of the Cascade Village units are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps and guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. With fast and reliable fiber optic WIFI, guests can stream on multiple devices. Cable TV is not available in any units at Cascade Village.
NO PETS/ NO TRAILERS: Due to HOA rules, the condo (and all condos in the building) is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets/emotional support animals. Also, trailers are not allowed.
COOLING: Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

VRC CANCELLATION POLICY: If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
