Aloha Erin, we're glad you thought the condo and the location were perfect! How awesome to see the whales...this time of year they put on quite a show. Sorry the mattress was not to your liking, everyone has their preference. It is a medium firm pillow-top mattress, bought 3 years ago. The couple prior to your stay were there for three weeks, and they loved it. But rest assured, during our trip there next month, we will re-evaluate. Our goal is to keep everything in tip top shape. Wishing you much aloha, Crystal and Jim
