Thank you and your family for joining us at All is Well! We loved helping your family plan your visit and are so happy you emitted all of the features of our home. It sounds like you may have been using the beach access at the end of pelican circle but the one we suggest is just 3 homes down on the right at Gulf Lakes Estates, about a 2-3 min from the front driveway. Glad you all made the best of those those rainy days too. Thanks again for staying with us!

Thank you for your review and the opportunity to address your stay. It is unfortunate that your visit at All is Well did not go as you had wished, but from time to time things do happen. Some of the time these mishaps are accidental and others are user error. After careful review of the video you provided and an extensive, costly and invasive investigation by the plumber we collectively and overwhelmingly know that the unusually large amounts of water pouring from the kitchen ceiling were from your party allowing the shower head to spray outside of the shower and not missing caulk as you proclaim. When this happens it is no surprise that water will be pouring from the ceiling below. Even if caulk had been missing there is a protective liner under the shower pan that is intact and working keeping water from escaping the shower floor. Regarding the broken tub filler we know it was in working order because we personally inspect each home before guest arrival. This particular tub has TWO fillers and was indeed operational during your stay on one filler alone. This home is adorned with exceptional finishes and repair parts are unable to be purchased off the shelf at the local hardware store. As property managers and operators of a small business we pride ourselves on integrity and honesty. Your insinuation that we were being dishonest in asking you to simply corroborate that the leak was determined to be guest error is frankly uncalled for and offensive. VRBO provides this claim compensation through the $59.00 damage protection fee that is built into your reservation at booking. Addressing your assertion that we did not compensate you, that to is false. Before your arrival we waived the pet fee in the amount of $250.00. After your arrival we additionally waived your pool heat fee of $300.00. Even though the inconveniences you spoke of were determined to be caused by your party, we additionally offered $500.00 which you declined. Your total compensation would have equaled $1050.00. In return you have now filed a chargeback in the amount of $2500.00 in addition to the $550.00 in comps you already received. You have been compensated. To our future guests, We appreciate each one of you and hope you take into consideration our past positive reviews and understand that our exemplary service will continue to be extended. However, we cannot control or in this instance satisfy gross negligence by a guest in this wonderful home.
