Disappointed

We have stayed at the grand before and love it. Unfortunately the unit Vacasa had us in had a broken A/C unit. We understand things like this can happen. The issue was the communication from the local manager. Also, it was never fully repaired throughout our stay. we had to spend hours on the phone trying to get assistance and clear communication from Vacasa. It was very hot in the unit throughout most of our stay. Also, once the manager finally contacted us ( we had been told she would call shortly on 2 separate occasions and she never called us) she sent a rude text message. We will not be using Vacasa for any future vacations.

Nice spacious condo for the size but there are a few drawbacks

We enjoyed our stay during spring break. The condo was clean and spacious for the size. The close proximity to the pool was great. We did have a few negatives: the mattress for the pullout couch needs to be replaced desperately. The hot water ran out in 5 mins when both showers were in use. The coffee maker left grounds in our coffee, so it probably needs to be replaced, and neither of the bathroom doors had locks, which is necessary for people with children. Other than those few things, our stay was good.

Trip to Sandestin

Property was good, as described on the VRBO web site. Plenty of activities to keep us busy. Pool was good & located close to our apartment. Easy drive too shopping both for groceries & Outlet shops. Lots of restaurants to pick from within walking distance or a short drive. Enjoyed our stay at the Grand Sandestin.

very nice place on the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the unit was close comfortableand clean

Alternate Booking Saved Vacation

We were able to find this booking at the last minute following an unpleasant experience with another VRBO-booked unit. It salvaged our vacation. The unit was clean and Turnkey, the manager, was responsive to our questions. We were the first to stay in this newly purchased unit, so there were a few kinks that needed to be worked out but Turnkey gave us a $195 refund for any inconveniences that we experienced, without us even asking. That was more than fair. We would definitely recommend this unit and Turnkey as a property manager.
