Located on the edge of a beautiful conservation area, with a yard backed by forest and lush landscaping, this terrific villa provides tranquility, privacy and safety, yet is a short fifteen minute drive to Disney World. You’ll cherish the memories you make in this comfortable and beautiful 4 bed/2 bath Orlando vacation rental.
Situated on a on a large pie-shaped lot at the back of a cul-de-sac, Happy Oak Villa will bring peace and tranquility to your vacation! You’ll love the care and attention to detail that goes into this beloved Florida home. Everything is considered, planned and provided to make your stay the best it can be.
The Villa
This fully air-conditioned villa comfortably sleeps eight people (on recent quality mattresses) in four bedrooms, each with its own closet. (We don't use a sofa bed to increase capacity). Three double bedrooms (1 King, Twin/Double Bunk, 2 Twins) and the main bath (sink, toilet, tub w/shower) are located on one side of the home, while the master bedroom (Queen Double Pillow-Top Mattress) with ensuite (sink, toilet, large walk-in shower with direct access to the lanai) and walk-in closet is located on the other.
You’ll find the kitchen well-equipped with quality appliances, cutlery and cookware for family meals, far beyond typical area vacation home standards. New Quartz Countertops and hand-made Mexican Tile BackSplash accent the kitchen! Quality furniture, electronics, and games room allow you to enjoy your vacation in style. The open layout encourages everyone sharing and enjoying their time together, while the four bedrooms allow them to retreat to their own private space when desired.
Private Pool & Hot Tub
The pool at Happy Oak Villa is a wonderful bonus you'll love to use. Enjoy the 89º degree water while listening to tropical birds in the forest beyond, serenading you as your troubles float away on a gentle Florida breeze. In the evenings, wind down in the relaxing hot tub on the expanded pool deck. Both pool and spa are professionally maintained for you. All you have to do is enjoy them!
The lounge opens out to the Lanai (covered deck) which overlooks the SouthWest-facing pool, covered by a screen enclosure to keep out insects and debris. A separate entrance gives access to the pool from the master bath. Jump out of the pool and into the shower to warm up and rinse off!
Wonderful Privacy
Unlike many vacation homes, Happy Oak Villa provides great privacy with no rear neighbours! The pool overlooks a large yard, bordered by 6' solid fence on two sides and a small pond & tropical forest at the back. No one will be watching you in your pool, and you won't be looking at them in theirs either! No barking dogs, or obnoxious or noisy neighbors to bother you... just the sounds of nature and your own family splashing in the clear water of your very private pool under the warm Florida sun!
(As you study vacation rentals, pay close attention to the proximity of neighbors to the pool enclosure, especially on the side of the yard. You’ll discover that a ‘private’ pool usually isn’t so private after all, even at most homes without rear neighbors.)
Security and Convenience
Amenities like Fibre-Optic Internet and Streaming TV, with Hi-Speed Wifi, TVs in every bedroom, a games room with a gorgeous slate pool table, quality foosball table and commercial arcade video game with hundreds of games, provide hours of fun for our guests.
Even though this home is located in a very safe area, we take the security and safety of our guests seriously. Emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, pool safety alarms, smoke detectors, remote monitored alarm system, and electronic door locks, along with remote-monitored heating, A/C, hot water, electrical, internet, pool pump and heating, mean we can promptly provide service if needed (often before guests are aware of an issue).
Location
Just outside of the tourist zone around Disney World, Happy Oak Villa provides privacy and safety for your family, in an area where you can enjoy an evening stroll by the lake, and your kids can play outside unattended. There are no gates at the entrance of Thousand Oaks – we don’t need them! The best way to be safe in the Orlando area is to stay in a very safe area.
On most evenings you can hear the fireworks going off at Epcot from our doorstep! On a light traffic day you can drive from the villa to the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom (at the far north end of the Disney resort) in less than 15 minutes!
Happy Oak Villa is close enough for convenience, but off the beaten path enough to provide you with all the safety, rest and relaxation you need!

• We have a large propane fired BBQ with appropriate tools available $5/day. (Others provide 'free' BBQ's but you must run out & buy propane! We provide 2 tanks, operating and a spare so you never run out!)
• Full-size Crib, Bikes, Scooters and other specialty items are easily pre-arranged for our guests at competitive rental rates, with delivery to & pick-up at the villa.
When you stay with us you will get an exclusive online Reservations Management web page on our system, where you can review reservation details, make payments, view and download custom maps, and get an electronic copy of our home manual.
This home is Kid Friendly & Children Welcome, Non smoking only, and with no stairs is suitable for elderly or infirm and wheelchair accessible.

Great Villa in quiet neighbourhood close to all amenities and parks

Vært: Robert
We are Robert & Donna. We are a friendly, outgoing couple from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in Western Canada. We have been married for 35+ years.
Robert designs and builds new houses, and Donna is a very successful recreational travel trailer sales representative.
Robert is a creative whiz with a strong design and writing orientation, and Donna is a master chef with a huge library of cookbooks, and a very strong artistic and creative flair as well.
We LOVE travelling in Florida, and love our villa located just south of Walt Disney World. We have spent a great deal of time upgrading and tweaking it in order to make our guests feel pampered and comfortable. Without doubt, our villa has the nicest landscaping in our entire subdivision, and one of the most private yard and pool areas to be found in the entire Disney area.
We have three (now) adult children, the eldest who worked as a cast member at Epcot in Disney's International Program for a year. Robert is a bit of a theme park buff, and very knowledgeable about the Central Florida area. All of this allows him to provide excellent advice to our villa guests about their trips; what to do, where and when to go, how much time to allow, things suitable for children, etc.
We also understand how to 'do' Disney on a small budget, or a big one if that is your taste, and are happy to share our advice and experience with our many guests.

We first stayed in the area in 2003... in THIS very property! And completely fell in love with the place!
I timed the drive from the driveway to the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom, and it was under fifteen minutes, yet the villa was located in a very quiet and safe conservation sub-division, that was really hidden out of the way. The homes in the area were not built with no personality and right on top of each other like so many vacation rental developments are.

And when the original property we stayed in (this one) came up for sale, we bought it too!
The conservation subdivision where our homes are located has a good mix of owner residents and vacation homes, so the area is safe and kept in good repair. It is very beautiful, designed around a central 40 acre lake, and is very pleasant for a morning or evening stroll, when one can enjoy many birds, the odd small wildlife and a pleasant 'Hello' from neighbours.
This particular villa is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, at the edge of the development against virgin tropical forest on the back of the home where the pool and lanai are situated. This affords our guests privacy, without being alone in the country.
I timed the drive from the driveway to the parking lot of the Magic Kingdom, and it was under fifteen minutes, yet the villa was located in a very quiet and safe conservation sub-division, that was really hidden out of the way. The homes in the area were not built with no personality and right on top of each other like so many vacation rental developments are.

There is an absolute joy that permeates our villas. Many of our guests have described it as the most relaxing place they have ever been on a vacation, and it is!

The villa is quiet, comfortable and relaxing, yet it is within 15 minutes drive of everything Walt Disney World has to offer, and Universal Studios, Sea World, (20 minutes) and the new LegoLand (30 minutes) theme parks are all close by as well. Beyond that there are all of the shopping, dining and golf opportunities that one would expect in the No.1 tourist destination in the world! Daytona Beach, Tampa, Clearwater Beach, the Kennedy Space Center are all about an hour's drive away. We have used the villa as a launching point to explore so much of Florida's incredible natural and cultural amenities.
