Visit the historical Galveston Pleasure Pier with shops, restaurants, arcade and amusement rides all out over the ocean. There is a train museum and two WWII ship museums at Seawolf Park. Johnson Space Center,
mission control, is twenty minutes away. Lastly Galveston hosts one of the largest historical districts in the country. The Strand District has the largest collection of early 19th Century commercial architecture anywhere in the United States. The city also hosts a half dozen or more of famous Victorian Style mansions open to the public. Come play, relax and enjoy the rich history. There is construction going on but not to this unit.
