SKAL STOPPE TIL OCEAN FRONT

GODT FOR ET NYTT ANNULLERING 26. - 29. AUGUST. BOOK NU! Den tidligere hjemsted for en forfatter og pædagog, har denne 1920-bungalow blevet fuldstændig restaureret for at give et meget behageligt ophold på USAs fineste strand. Kun få skridt fra strandpromenaden og stranden (tre huse fra boardwalk) og nær Belmont Park og Roller Coaster, kommer huset udstyret med alt hvad du behøver til den perfekte ferie. Boogie bord, kajak, strandstole, sand legetøj, garage og en ekstra udendørs bruser.

Det store soveværelse har en queensize seng og fladskærms-tv. Det andet soveværelse har køjeseng med en enkelt og dobbelt. Den komfortable futon i stuen gør ind i en dobbelt, hvor der er en anden fladskærms-tv og iPod / CD musikafspiller. Vi har også en pakke n play for dit barn.

Hylderne er foret med over 300 kvalitets bøger af alle sorter. Jeg holde priserne meget overkommelige sammenlignet med andre enkeltstående hus i Mission Beach, så det bøger meget godt. Mange mennesker kan virkelig godt lide denne historiske stil hytte føler snarere end 'all-the-samme »condos denne linje meget af stranden, og med god grund. De hårde trægulve og hollandsk-dør i fronten giver et nostalgisk skridt tilbage i tiden, mens du nyder de opgraderinger til sommerhuset i årenes løb.

Når vores børn dyrkes vi flytter tilbage i !! Så kom nyde Mission Beach Cottage, mens du kan. :)

Verdensberømte Sea World er fem minutter væk, og San Diego Zoo er ti minutter. Verdensklasse spisning kan nydes i downtown Gaslamp Quarter, en ti minutters kørsel. Mission Beach tilbyder natlige solnedgange, cykling, sejlsport, rulleskøjteløb, surfing, sejlsport, en rutschebane og landets mest underholdende kigge på mennesker.

Great place for family fun! Located steps from the beach and a short walk from Belmont Park. We come back every summer because we love this place!

Quant little house

We had a great stay at this little bungalow. The location cannot be beat. Dave was a communicative and attentive owner. We would stay again.

Love the Blue House!

This is the third year in a row we have stayed at the blue house for vacation. Always have a blast. The location is perfect and it is the cutest little cottage there.

Perfect place

If your all about location location location, then this is the place for you! Cute little cottage in great location!! You are so close to the beach which is great when taking sand toys and things to the beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. My family loved our stay.....would definitely recommend. Great location for great price!!

Not what I expected

Very outdated and unkept. No entrance through the front door. Ants were abundant in the living area. All of the fans were filthy and or rusty. Location was nice..but otherwise would not recommend

Short trip

My family and I are from Minnesota and stayed here for the weekend cause we had a wedding to go to. We loved it, very very close to the beach and all the attractions around. Kids thought it was great with the bunk beds. Nice and clean. A spot to park your car/rental in the garage. We would/will definitely stay again!!

Loved the cottage!

The cottage was perfect for me and my family. We truly enjoyed our stay. The location was awesome! I loved the fact that we were only a few steps away from the beach. My kids were able to enjoy the beach all day on Saturday. Weather was perfect. David was a great host. Whenever I had a question, his response time was amazing. Cute cottage

So first I have to give a shout-out to David the property manager, he was GREAT! Location was close to Belmont so the kids had a blast and steps to the beach. Whenever I had a question for David, he responded quickly. Parking was great, I have a large SUV and there were two parking spaces for me. Washer and dryer on premises so no spending hours at a laundromat and wasting quarters. Love it and would recommend this place highly.

Exactly what we were looking for!

We enjoyed ourselves so very much at this property.! I Every waking moment that we weren’t busy elsewhere we walked a few steps to the boardwalk and the sand. I grew up on this beach and I felt so at home at this Beach Cottage. There’s a lot of new stuff around, but I wanted the old, worn in beach feel.! David and Felice had everything we needed and it was an easy check in, and at 1am that’s what we needed. We woke up and went to sleep with the sound of the ocean; which I’m gonna miss. We were so close to everything and my husband especially really appreciated that. He’s from a small town in Montana and really loved the place and the location that I picked for us. We will be back to rent again..TY David and Felice…you have a little gem

I want to start off by saying that my family and I had an amazing time staying at Dave's cottage. The proximity to the beach (Maybe 100 feet to the boardwalk) was the key selling point and we will 100% be staying again. We walked down to the boardwalk at least 8 time each day to either play in the water or just simply stare out at the ocean. The Tourist shops, Belmont Park, and restaurants are also only a 5-minute walk which meant we rarely had to drive for food/entertainment, or random gifts for the kiddo.As i was booking, i already knew that the place needed a little TLC (per other reviews) which was fine for my family and I as it does have the authentic beach house vibe we were looking for and we are very much into old, historic places. However, i gave the cottage 4-5 stars because some things truly did need some touchups, as i was afraid that we would break some things simply by using them. A Few examples:1. The outdoor shower pipe is loose, so you have to hold it while turning the water on, so you don't stress the pipe. 2. The bathroom doorknob is really loose and doesn't work from the inside without pulling hard while turning.3. The Foton had screws falling out which I tightened, luckily before it broke. None of these issues were a big deal to my family and I but wanted to list them to justify the 4/5 stars as opposed to 5/5. With that said, these issues will not deter my family and I and we will 100% be back!

Fine... just fine

This is a great location close to a great beach but I have to say there are a few items that were not ideal. First, the place is very small. We spread out all over and its all good but for larger people this place is small. It is also not clean. Stained blankets, cracked floor tiles, dusty bunk bed in very ppor condition... just not clean and desperatly needs updating. We had to shop for toilet paper... again this is all fine. Nothing like this should keep anyone from renting this place but stuff to know. If ready access to the beach is paramount this is ideal... if nicely appointed and spacious place is what you seek this may not be a match.

Dirty and unsafe

This property could be a gem. It was dirty and in poor condition. Broken futon. There are electrical concerns. At one point the bedroom was filled with sparks from the broken socket. The sparks put a hole in my blouse and a burn on my arm. The electricity went out. We and vrbo made multiple attempts to contact the manager. He finally contacted me late in evening after we left to go to another hotel. The manager stated he would only give my money back if I didn't leave a negative review. I have multiple pictures and the communications demands from manager has been given to VRBO. I'm sure the manager will deny this review. Please keep you kids safe and stay away from this property. Not worth the great location.

Fantastic location; lots of character; plenty of space including washer and dryer; the kitchen needs a few items but it's fine for beach living for a week and there are plenty of places to walk to get coffee and breakfast so no need to cook anyway. Parking in the garage is a real plus, but the car has to be small to fit. Mission Beach is very crowded.

This is a charming house with a quick easy walk to the beach. It is an older home, classic for the area, so no A/C (but plenty of fans) or dishwasher, but we've been here many times and love it.

Our family’s favorite tradition

We’ve been staying at the beach cottage for a few years now. My kiddos were devastated when we couldn’t come last year, so it was super important to us to be able to come back this summer. We made the best memories together and just adore the originality of the home. The location is perfect and the accommodations are always incredible. Wonderful Stay

The location was fantastic—couldn't have asked for a better spot for the price! The owner was incredibly responsive, even through VRBO messaging, which made the entire experience seamless. The cottage itself was a real gem. Growing up in Michigan, it reminded me of the older homes there, bringing back great memories. I would definitely stay here again. Me and 4 kids. Enough room and close to Belmont, has a washer and dryer so no trips to the laundromat, and 2 parking spaces. Whenever I had a question, Dave was quick to answer, great host.

Simply Amazing!

The location is unbelievable. A 3 min walk to the bay. A 1 min walk to the ocean. A 5 minute walk to Belmont Park. We rode bike everywhere and barely used our rental car. I cannot express how incredible this property is! The only knock is that there are signs of aging. Having said that, nothing was in such poor shape that we couldn’t enjoy ourselves. The kayak was so much fun for the family. Even our 5 yo gave it a try on Mission Bay! Fans are available in the house to help keep things cool. The outside shower was so helpful. Also, plenty of beach toys for the kiddo… and OMG, the patio! I can’t forget how relaxing it was to hang out there in the morning and again at night. The futon was incredibly comfortable for the teenager. Communication with the owner was fantastic. He was super responsive and helped us along the way. Did I mention the location was unbelievable? You should stay here. There’s no doubt that if the opportunity presents itself again, we will be booking this property for even more spectacular memories. Thank you!!!

I first moved to San Diego to go to San Diego State University and landed in Mission Beach, thinking 'why would I ever want to leave here'. My wife and I lived in the house for many years and we will always keep it as it is instead of building condos on the property. We will return to the house at some point, but for now we enjoy having others enjoy the beach life.

One thing that attracted me to buy this house is its location so close to the beach and boardwalk. And it is a single family home with no attached homes, on its own lot. We also loved the historic value in an era when so many others are building new condos.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

Having a single-family house on its own lot is a huge benefit. There are no common walls and you aren't sharing the yard with anyone. The proximity to the boardwalk and sand is a big plus, too, for a fraction of the price of the oceanfront properties which have very little privacy.
