Om overnatningsstedet
Golden Gate Views near Napa, in our two level upper FLAT in Trilevel Home.
Our view is expansive, from Mount Tamalpais to the north, to Alameda County (Berkeley) to the South, with distant views of the San Pablo and San Francisco Bays, Angel Island, Carquinez Bridge, plus local valley views.
We live here part time, and that will be evident the minute you open the fridge! The upside of this, is that the kitchen is stocked for chef level cooking and all pantry basics are there- just replace anything you use. Let us know your coffee/tea preferences!
Pricing is somewhat flexible, but will be higher on Christmas EVE, Christmas DAY, New Years EVE. As a newbie, I don't have all the known tools available yet.
The house itself is a work in progress, especially outdoors. Photos will (try to) be updated to reflect changes as they occur. We do one tiny task at a time, so that guests won't be put off work in progress.
Our home is always exceptionally clean, and we think tastefully decorated! We are post covid (Jan 2021) so we understand the importance of sanitation.
We have zero tolerance for inhaled products of any sort, and expect you to be drug free in particular. We have hosted over 700 groups and are returning to VRBO after a long hiatus. Unfortunately since Meth is now a thing, we will be discussing it, and we will expect to greet and meet you in person.
We own a service dog. Due to a previous $$$ attack of our little guy, our service dog trumps all others, and we can not accept any other. Our dog knows the rules, but so far, other service dogs have not understood them! And we need him to know this is his domain.
Our rates are temporarily high due to holidays and increasing our visibility so we can afford to offer deep discounts. The first weekend, the week before Christmas, will be offered at the normal weeknight rate. Same for non holiday weekends in January. We have limitations on how we can manipulate the calendar's prices. So ask and we will try to work with you.
Our Holiday tree is up for your enjoyment. Ornaments are almost all significant of some vacation or personal event, and while we hope you enjoy looking at them, they are not intended to be souvenirs. We've had a bit of that over the past nine years of hosting.
The property has an in-law unit, downstairs, and this includes is the laundry area. We prefer you don't need to do laundry, but will accommodate you if needed, of course! The lowest level is our home (usually only me) during your stay, or we may choose to be in our Mountain property. We are not offering a vacant property, just a vacant flat. We close off areas that are our personal space, including the garage, the master bath (because it is under construction) and one hall closet for supplies and personal items.
You may see/hear us coming and going through the garage.
If you use the HOT TUB, we need to service it everyday, and we don't allow its use if there is a child on property.
We can refer you to our 500ish reviews, while absolutely booking through VRBO.
Please do not book without contacting us first. We are pretty picky, especially about inhaled products. NO CHECKS from third parties or third party bookings will ever be accepted.
