Westerly is 11 miles from the house, and Newport is 27 miles. If you are planning on site seeing and boarding the Block Island Ferry, you have a short 14 mile drive. No matter where you travel to in the South County 'bubble' ....you will be minutes from your destination! Enjoy the comfort of our home; nestled on a private road with half an acre of serenity. The oversized front deck will welcome you and your guests to generous patio furniture and privacy. Gorgeous and warm contemporary home inviting you through the front door to a vaulted ceiling. You’ll love this open concept kitchen/living room. Full kitchen offers an oven, dishwasher, microwave, full refrigerator and freezer, Keurig, and breakfast bar. Ocean themed living room with beautiful views and electric fireplace. Three full bedrooms with plenty of room to unpack and relax. Enjoy a private deck through the sliders in the master bedroom. Perfect place for our family to gather and rest for our daughter’s graduation. It is very serene and has a calming vibe. Very clean and homey.

Cute and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay. The house was cute and homey. The hosts made our stay extra nice by including a few treats and extra touches. The home is clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us- quiet and in a residential area but close to everything.

Beautiful Property

This was my first stay through Vrbo and it did not disappoint. Couldn't have picked a better location. The house was up to date & spacious with a nice large lawn for outdoor activities. Lisa & Rob even left us some delicious cup cakes with a nice hand written note. We will definitely be back

Fun Getaway Weekend

A quiet, peaceful spot, that is close to the beaches.

We had a great week at this home! Lisa and Rob were very accommodating and welcoming. We could not have asked for anything more than what their clean and inviting home gave us. We really look forward to coming back!

Lovely Stay

Awesome Stay

Great place for a family stay in May to attend our daughter's graduation from URI. Property is beautifully decorated, well stocked with amenities and immaculately clean. Hosts were very helpful before and during our stay and check-in was easy. Quiet but convenient location and loved the neighborhood for walks. Note that 3rd bedroom is on lower basement level; we had 6 adults staying and ended up using the sleeper sofa which was very comfortable.

Just like home

Beautiful clean home with a great location near several beaches. You feel like you are on vacation the minute you walk inside with all the beach decor! Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and a nice personal note to welcome us for the week! Quiet, peaceful area where you get to see wildlife right out your window! Lisa and Rob are great hosts and we will definitely be back!

Memorial Day Weekend

My wife, toddler and friends recently spent Memorial Day Weekend and had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and we loved the yard and front deck. The neighborhood was very quiet and close to lots of beaches and restaurants. We'd highly recommend this home to people with kids. The hosts were very responsive and a pleasure to work with

Perfect Weekend Getawat

This space was an amazing addition to our weekend. I graduated from URI and my family came to celebrate and we stayed here for the weekend. The space was accurate to the pictures and Lisa and Rob were so accomodating during the stay. They had amazing personal touches like a bottle of champagne for me and a welcome sign. The place had extra pillows and blankets and plenty of amenities provided. It is in a quiet neighborhood and was overall a great experience!

Rhode Island getaway

Beautiful space. Great locale and close to BI, Newport, Jamestown, URI etc. Lovely home with great areas to sit and relax both inside and out. BBQ grille was great to have and use. Local supermarket was close by and lovely to shop at. Host was easy to reach and helpful. It is quiet. It is peaceful. It is beautiful. We loved staying there. Good laundry machines in the basement. We very much enjoyed our stay. Recommend highly!

Peaceful and relaxing cottage

I have rented a beach house in South County for the last 10 years and for the most part, my experiences were positive. This rental was no exception, my family really enjoyed spending our vacation here. From the onset, the owners set a welcoming atmosphere by leaving a hand written note to my family and a basket of blueberry muffins. The cottage is located on a quiet dead end street, with a large deck and yard, not far from our favorite beaches and restaurants. The bedrooms were large and comfortable and the kitchen and living room was a cozy place to watch a movie with my kids. I would recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for a quiet, relaxing spot close to the beaches.

Immaculate & comfortable

Lisa & Rob have done an incredible job renovating & beautifying this property. All new appliances & furniture, beach theme throughout house, and beautiful serene property with ample yard space on a private road. We enjoyed sitting on deck watching wildlife and listening to birds. This location is about couple miles or so from Beaches nearby. We enjoyed biking the neighborhood and riding our bikes to beach. My daughter and I would run in the neighborhood, and neighbors on main road would say good morning and wave as we passed by. Very friendly! It’s a wonderful area. We would definitely consider staying at this location in the future. Lisa & Rob, you have done a fantastic job with your home! We appreciate all that you did to make our stay wonderful!

Beautiful Property!

My family and I stayed for two nights and were so comfortable during our short Rhode Island excursion! Lisa’s property is close to many beautiful ocean beaches and is beautifully decorated in a nautical theme. Check-in was a breeze and we were greeted with a lovely note from our host as well as fresh donuts from a local donut shop, Allie’s. Big way to win over my 14 and 10 year old children! The home was immaculately clean and we appreciated the notes that were posted, giving details about heating/cooling, spare linens, etc. Any question we had was immediately answered without having to contact our host. We also appreciated how Lisa left local restaurant menus on the kitchen island. It made the age-old conundrum of, “what should we do for dinner” so much easier to navigate. We didn’t cook any big meals on property but if we were to do so, we’d be all set. The kitchen has every utensil, pot, appliance you’d need as well as a grill on the deck. There is also a fire pit in her spacious and gorgeous yard. We wish we had booked a third night just so we could have enjoyed all of the property’s amenities to the fullest! My husband is a Buffalo, NY native, thus making us huge Buffalo Bills fans so our only “complaint” was the New England Patriots artwork found in the third bedroom. (Not a real complaint, of course!! Funny to think my “Bills Mafia”children refused to sleep in that bedroom due to the rivalry between the Bills and Patriots! Ha!). We highly recommend!

Peaceful Place

Feel very lucky to have found this great home tucked away in a beautiful and quiet spot in Wakefield. The house is well stocked with all the home away from home items you may need to enjoy your stay. Comfortable beds and the entire house is very clean. The deck off of the main bedroom is a peaceful retreat! Would love to stay here again. Quick drive to the beaches and restaurants. Owner was extremely easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house close to the beach

The owner was super helpful and made us feel so very welcome! She had little muffins and a variety of jars with biscotti and candy ready for us. The decor is beautiful and the beds comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, the deck lovely to relax on and the kids were able to watch movies and play games. It's a quiet neighborhood with 3 different beaches within 7 min drive. The Moonstone beach is a protected area and you needed a season pass to park there after 5/1. Green Hill beach (Mautucket by the sea) is small and has limited parking and no bathrooms. Charlestown beach has ample parking and we did not need to pay (5/15 - 5/18). The main building was closed but the porta potties were immaculate. It's a 50 yard walk to the beach from there and you can walk the 1.5 miles to the estuary / river to the right for stunning sunsets. This cottage is 10000% worth it! Thank you Lisa and Rob.

Rather that having it remain empty and 'un-lived in', we want to share the beauty of Rhode Island and our home with folks looking to stay locally for school visits, work, and family vacationing. Conveniently located to all local beaches, eateries, and tourist locations; yet secluded on a scenic lot. Green Hill Beach and Charlestown Breachway are within a few miles. In the early 1900's, the lot was originally given to the caretakers of the agricultural farm that comprises many many acres of beauty in South Kingstown around our property. Private road with only two houses. The road ends leading into our drive area. Enjoy the wildlife including all types of birds, and many deer. The benefits of the country and beach in one!

Short drive by car to Westerly, URI, Narragansett, Matunuck, or downtown Galilee / Point Judith. Catch the ferry to Block Island, enjoy the clam cakes and chowder at Iggy's, and savor on the entree's and enjoy the breathtaking views while at the Matunuck Oyster Bar! Have fun shopping in downtown Wakefield and Narragansett.
