Welcome to “The Spot” - North Limestone/Downtown!

Welcome to The Spot! Perfectly situated in the heart of Lexington. Our newly remodeled home is within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, and Transylvania University in the "NoLi" neighborhood. Walking distance to Greyline Station! The Spot can also be used as a launching point to explore bourbon and horse country.

Located at the end of a quiet street, this adorable 1920's house is ready for you to visit! The single level, 1500 square ft. home features 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The driveway fits 2-3 cars and we have street parking available. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the essentials if you want to stay in and cook - just bring your groceries! Weber charcoal grill in backyard. Private, fully fenced in backyard.

Located in North Limestone/Downtown area of Lex! Some of our favorite North Lime spots are Minton's 760, SRO, favor, Al's Bar, Arcadium, Backroads Bakery, Doodles, North Lime Donuts, Third St Stuff & Coffee, Broomwagon, West Sixth Brewing, the list can go on and on!

Less than a mile to Greyline Station and only .6 miles to Transylvania University. We're 1.4 miles from Rupp Arena and 1.5 miles from Central Bank Center/Lexington's Convention Center. Red Mile is 2.6 miles, Kroger Field is 2.8 miles away. A little over 7 miles and a 20 minute drive to Keeneland and the Blue Grass Airport. 8.5 miles/20 minute drive to the KY Horse Park.

There are two smart TVs to stream content, using your personal account. No cable or satellite TV. 50" 4K Smart Roku TV in the living room. 43" 4K Smart Roku TV in the rock bedroom.

Very nice house, great kitchen. Just big enough for the five of us. Excellent location, close to downtown, UK, Transy, Gratz Park, Chevy Chase.

Not as tidy & clean as I would have liked. The refrigerator doesn’t seem to close correctly & some of the drawers wouldn’t open easily-they were off line or something - parking is tight we had 3 couples so 3 vehicles-2nd bath is super small - metal chairs are not comfortable to sit on for any length of time - cushions would help - closet door in master would only open on 1 side - wouldn’t rent again -

It was very comfortable and a clean space, much entertainment with the television for me and my family and it was a perfect space. I definitely enjoyed every part of my stay and would love to visit again in the future!

The Spot was indeed a fantastic spot for our family! A quiet neighborhood with close proximity to Downtown and to UK campus. We enjoyed a morning walk to Doodles for breakfast! The house was very clean, well designed/decorated and very clean. All linens were provided. Great backyard & charcoal grill out back. Will definitely be back!Well done designing this house, ladies!

House was great. Well stocked. Communication from owner was great. Contacted me with an update when the wifi was out without me asking. Have to say as former law enforcement. Did not like the location but I knew that going in.

Well maintained, very clean and all the comforts of home! Nice place!! One of our uber drivers told us we were in a bad neighborhood. We did not feel unsafe but would not walk anywhere. Getting in/out of driveway is a bit tricky too.

The owner was helpful and helped us get our refund.We arrived to find a very dirty front porch in a very sketchy neighborhood. The inside was beyond dirty, too. From the coffee pot, refrigerator, blankets to walls. Ourside on back patio, we found a white trash bag...with garbage leaking out. Plus, the back patio was just filty.We sent photo's to owner and she offered to clean, we were ready to check in and she graciously let us out of contract. We thank her and hope she thoroughly cleans and freshens up the property.

This property and stay were both phenomenal. Home is exactly as presented on Vrbo. VERY Clean, comfortable and with plenty of space for our group of 5. We could have had more people stay, honestly. While the neighborhood is older and may look off putting to some when they first drive in, it is quiet and felt quite calm and safe. Centrally located it was a short drive to get anywhere we needed. Host was extremely communicative and a pleasure to work with. Everything you could need for your stay is provided and I can honestly say I couldn’t find anything lacking. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again on another trip to LEX!

A great spot

We stayed here while visiting the Bourbon trail. The house was great. Very well stocked. The bedrooms were big and the beds were comfortable. Lots of room! The host was very responsive to my messages. Only thing I would add would be a couple of table lamps. The ceiling lights were super bright! Would highly recommend.

Misrepresented area and house

Bad, rundown area of town - not safe to walk anywhere in that area. House has terrible foundation issues, floor is so uneven you think you're drunk. Place was not clean. Dirt and grime on wall next to garbage can, on bathroom doors and behind doors, crumbs everywhere, especially under couch and beds. Crud falls on the white comforter every night from the vent in ceiling above bed. Grill in backyard was filthy and had to be cleaned out in order to be used.Nice gas stove and stocked kitchen but overall it was a huge disappointment.

Birthdays Celebration

Came to Lexington to celebrate my sister's 70th birthday & our friend from collage days birthday. Jen's home was the perfect location as we visited places in Lexington, Midway, & Frankfort. We enjoyed the lovely & private brick patio, the home was very clean & spacious & the beds were very comfortable. Jen responded quickly when I had a question.I would recommend Jen's place to anyone! I'd rate this place a 10!!

Comfortable and Accommodating

The location is convenient yet private. Decorated very well and the house had everything we needed for the weekend. The beds were great! Love the back yard. And the host was pleasant, helpful, and quick to respond!

Absolutely perfect!

We don’t have a single complaint or suggestion. It was so clean, and it had everything we needed. The beds, linens, and furniture were so comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. We loved that it had the charm of an older home, but with all modern conveniences. I cannot say enough about how easy it was to communicate with the property manager. We will be back.

Gameday Weekend

We were 3 adult couples in town for the Georgia-Kentucky football game. This place is in a transitioning neighborhood in a good way, it's trending up definitely. It's near the end of a dead end street so there's no traffic to worry about. We walked from here to downtown on our way to Kroger Field (a long walk, but with pop-ins to various bars, etc, it's not so bad - definitely parked a car on campus to drive home after the game). Post-game - midnightish - we walked from the house to a nearby corner with a couple of bars (a dive and an arcade themed) for post-game fun. We felt fine walking that bit after dark. We went on a morning walk by lovely Bluegrass Trust properties, Transy U., downtown Lexington, and back with a park or two along the way. The space is lovely, clean, and more than accommodating. The host was responsive to the only issue and even that was more our fault than anything. It all worked out. I would definitely stay here again. The beds were very comfortable. 5 out of 5 would again, as they say.

Great House with Private Back Patio and Yard

We had a family wedding at Gratz Park to which the house was so conveniently located. The neighborhood is in the process of purchases and updates which will make this house even better! My kids loved the snacks the host provided and the bang for your buck on the nightly cost is of great value.

Horse show rental

Stayed here for USEF Pony Finals. House has plenty of room. Great water pressure in master bath shower. Cute decor and not hard to get to from KY Horse Park-@15 minutes. House is in a sketchy neighborhood though and house is starting to show signs of needing repair and a deep clean and needs lightbulb replacement in multiple kitchen light fixtures. House was well stocked. Overall suited our needs.

Quaint well-equipped home

Super cute home in a great location for getting around UK. Home was just as depicted in the pictures and fully stocked with everything needed for a weekend stay. Hair-dryers, shampoo/conditioner, laundry soap were a bonus. Would sty here again when back in the area.
